4  Economy / Digital goods / [EnerBot] Modular Mt.Gox Trading Bot [Customized for your own trading strategy] on: March 02, 2013, 07:34:52 PM
EnerBot is a modular/custom Mt.Gox trading bot. I've started developing EnerBot 18 months ago. During this period EnerBot used hundreds of different trading strategies until it matured and reached its final flexible/profitable trading algorithm, that I've been using privately for the last 6 months. EnerBot used to make minimum 20$/maximum 150$ pure profit daily when BTC price was around 7$. Today EnerBot daily trading profit varies between 50$ to 500$ a day, and can do much more with higher trading volume. It is easy to create a trading bot but it requires long time and effort to examine different trading algorithms/strategies. My main target in tuning EnerBot's trading algorithm was to make it earn ~1% daily profit of its initial trading volume.

I am creating this thread to announce that EnerBot is no longer private. It is now available for sale. If you are interested in buying EnerBot You can pm me here or email me at bitnodes@gmail.com with subject [EnerBot]. You can also request private trading features/strategies/add-ons to be added to your EnerBot. Your private EnerBot add-on will remain private, in that it will never be published or made available for any other EnerBot.

5  Bitcoin / Project Development / Decentralized BTC Stock Market [Goodbye GLBSE] on: October 11, 2012, 10:31:53 AM
This thread is an attempt to answer the following questions, and to mind storm about the possibility of having an open source decentralized BTC stock market protocol/features/design.

  • GLBSE is closed, so what is next?
  • Is it possible to have a decentralized BTC stock market in the same manner BTC/namecoin operates?
  • Is it possible to have a new protocol/block chain where assets "instead of coins" can be created by the asset issuer instead of mining?
  • Is it possible that such block chain handles multiple different kinds of assets instead of one kind of coins?

It seems that the most challenging problem is in the exchange mechanism between assets and e-currencies such as BTC. For that such decentralized stock market has to operate on top of other block chain "if not on top of multiple block chains", where BTC or LTC message signing can confirm assets movement "buy/sell orders" between different accounts.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / [SOLD] Discounted Icarus FPGA [UPGRADABLE to Avalon ASIC] on: October 03, 2012, 10:41:36 AM
I have 10 Icarus FPGA mining boards for sale at a discounted price of 26 BTC per board "including shipment". The boards are currently mining with the 190 MHz bitstream @ 380 MH/s. I am moving to another country by the end of October and am only interested in selling these boards before moving out. So this offer is valid until 25th of October. I would offer a price lower than 26 BTC for anyone interested in buying more than 1 board.

Note:
Zhang "the developer of Icarus" is developing ASIC mining boards each running @ >= 60 Ghash/s for US$1999 "US$1299 pre-order". Zhang announced that any icarus or lancelot user can trade-in their icarus or Lancelot mining board for 300USD (icarus) or 400USD (lancelot) "every new 60G mining machine can only trade-in one old mining board. The trade-in is not accepted in pre-orders". Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110090.0   http://avalon-asic.com/

Update:
10 boards been sold out.
7  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin price will reach $25 by the end of the year on: July 16, 2012, 07:55:46 PM
I am creating this thread to discuss and share with you my thoughts and expectations about BTC price by the end of 2012. I am expecting BTC price to reach $25 by the end of 2012 and here is why:

When BFL started to accept pre-orders for FPGA Singles end of 2011, Bitcoin price kept rising until it reached "$7.25". Such rising period took around 3 months, and when BFL started delivering the Singles, BTC price started to move down slowly toward $4. Actually it move down from $7.2 to $4 in 5 stages. Now BFL is accepting pre-orders for ASIC. There is no doubt that the price of BTC is gonna double "once again", but this time from $5 to $10 "already started and at the time of this writing BTC is @ $8". The amount of money needed to invest in ASIC devices is almost double the amount needed to invest in FPGA. To be more specific, the amount of money needed to upgrade FPGA/GPU farms to ASIC is almost double the amount of money invested in such FPGA/GPU farm from day one "to be able to get the same reward when ASIC hits the network". So if the amount of money that will be invested in ASIC "by the last quarter of 2012" will be double the amount of money invested in FPGAs "last quarter of 2011", you should expect BTC price rising more than double "$12 to $15". At that time the block reward is gonna be reduced to 25 BTC instead of 50 BTC, so this time when BFL delivers ASIC BTC price is not gonna move back as it did when BFL delivered the FPGA Singles, but it is gonna start a new rising wave. For that am expecting BTC price to reach at least 20$ by the end of 2012 beginning of 2013. I already started saving as much BTC as I can, and you can consider this thread as an invitation for you to join the party by increasing your BTC savings.
