Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Unknown transaction
on: November 27, 2017, 07:06:52 AM
I sent a transaction with bitcoin core 0.14.2 and I noticed some coin missing. The amount in my wallet shows as correct but on blockchain.info I can see 2 amounts where sent to different addresses at the same time. I'm really concerned the pc I was using is compromised in some way. Help would be appreciated.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / RX Vega 56 Crashing with more then one card installed
on: November 17, 2017, 10:03:27 AM
I got the beta blockchain driver working with one rx 56 vega. If I try to use more then one card the display driver crashes before it starts mining. I've tried on a couple computers. They both use the Asrock 970 extreme 4, windows 10 with the claymore miner. I've tried a fresh install of the drivers using uninstall driver tool. Not sure what issue could be at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

So bitcoin is now $7000 + $586 bcc value = $7860 per coin Coins left from MT Gox bankrupcy = 202,185btc * $7860 = $1,589,174,100 What you will actually receive is around $483 per coin if you filed a claim and 6% interest rate if your lucky. Mt Gox is rich again.

Bitcoin / Mining support / Antminer S3 tempeture Sensor
on: October 23, 2017, 04:04:01 AM
One of the boards on my Antminer S3 displays 90c soon as it comes on and then climbs to around 115c in under a minute. It's making the fans go on high right when it powers up. It doesn't seem like a accurate temperature reading to me. I tried re-pasted the outside heat sinks the inner ones look like a pain to remove. Any ideas or work arounds?

Is there site that charts the difficulties with specific numbers? Or at least shows the last difficulty and the date it changed?

Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 5870 - low mhash
on: May 14, 2012, 01:00:01 AM
I just got a 5870 black edition. I can't seem to get more then 280mh/s with a 850 core clock, 1.125 voltage. I have a asus 5870 with the same settings in the rig, it gets 390 mhash. I'm mining with cgminer and have checked settings with afterburner. Never had any issues like this, any help would be appreciated.

Bitcoin / Mining support / dedicated miner
on: February 22, 2012, 10:06:51 PM
I'm setting up some dedicated miners at a friends place. I want to do it without leaving a monitor there. I'm going to be using a wireless adapter for the internet. What's the best OS to do this? Does linuxcoin allow full control of settings from a remote location?

Economy / Trading Discussion / MtGox stealing accounts
on: February 02, 2012, 01:20:20 AM
I reported my Yubikey lost to Mt Gox support and provided the requested information to prove it was my account. They said unless I find and return the yubikey they will never allow me access to my account again. If I attempt to open a ticket they immediately close it. They admit to knowing that it is indeed my account but said they don't believe I have actually lost my yubikey, even though it has not been used since I reported it lost. I was assured even before I purchased a yubikey that if it was ever lost its not a problem. I guess it depends on how much money is in your account.
