1  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Nexus 6 64GB XT1103 - Near Mint Midnight Blue - $430 on: September 01, 2015, 03:26:14 AM
Will do escrow if you pay the fees.  Inside the US is free shipping.  Not sure I'll ship international, but ask if interested.

2  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 40' wired shipping container data center on: June 05, 2015, 04:58:01 AM
Testing interest for a 40' wired shipping container that was used as a temporary data center.   Post or PM offers if interested.  Located in Kansas City area.

200 amp fuse box mostly full of 240v fuses with a few 120v fuses.
12 - 240v outlet boxes with 4 outlets each
2 - 24" fans able to move around 6300 CFM each. (only one has been wired/used as I found it was plenty to keep what I had in there cool)
Walls/door are modular.  Remove a few screws on any of the existing walls or door and that 4' section of wall can be removed/relocated as needed.
I built this with modularity/expandability in mind.  One could double or triple the power in this container and be able to air cool it in the right environment.  With ~30kw being pulled, it kept the indoor temp at 88F when the outside temp was 85F.

This was built with hot aisle/cold aisle design in mind. Cold aisle on the side with the vents is enclosed when the door is shut.  Hot aisle is currently the rest of the container.  This way cool outside air is pulled straight through the units and hot inside air is not circulated back behind the units.  Eventual plan was to mount an A/C on the roof to blow air into the cold aisle.  Exhaust air from the hot aisle and utilize an air-side economizer as needed.  Never got to go that far though *Sigh*

I can help arrange shipping but buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping and any related costs.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / In Memoriam GPU Thread - A lasting place for your GPU rigs - RIP on: July 01, 2014, 06:23:29 PM
As my GPU mining farm slowly becomes obsolete. I figured it would be nice to have a thread dedicated solely to GPU's Rigs.  This thread is for GPU miners who want to show their work to other GPU miners and talk about the good ol' days as we say goodbye to those GPU rigs that gave us so much frustration, happiness, anger, pride and tears as we built and maintained them throughout the years  Cheesy

Post a bit about when/where you started, what you have now, if you have (had) a significant other, did they survive through the influx of heat and noise into your relationship  Tongue

And anything else you might want to add.  Most of all have fun fellow GPU miner's!

Note:   This is not a thread saying GPU mining is dead... its just a thread for GPU miner's to post/share their rigs as they retire them.  GPU mining is still very much alive.
4  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 100 7950's GPU farm - 25 BTC ~ $16k USD on: June 26, 2014, 06:54:16 PM
I have 100 GPU farm I'm looking to sell as I dont think cooling them this summer will be worth it for me.  I live in central USA so probably a face to face hand-off would be simplest, but I will ship anywhere if needed.

The hardware in this alone will be about 24k if you were to go buy it used. On top of that, its already put together and ready to roll... throwing together 100 GPU farm is not quick.  This is for those who want to mine any coin and have cheaper electric costs than me.  Profitability on this would be around $1,000/month if you mine Vertcoin and live in a place with electric rates around $0.06 (like northwest US or on solar).
PM me if you are interested and I will send you parts list/pics and answer any questions you have.  Will obviously do escrow for this.

I havent done a complete inventory in awhile and have to travel to both sites to do that... so for now I can just approximate at this.

This is my estimated list.  I will have a more exact list hopefully early next week.
~90 7950 GPU's which are Sapphire 7950 4L's and Vapor-X
~10 7970 GPU's of different vendors.  A couple are Vapor-X and I know some are MSI and HIS.
~30 Power supplies.  Most are Seasonic 1050/1250X 80+ gold.  I have some OCZ 1000W 80+ Gold and an EVGA or two as well.
~15 Motherboards with low end CPU and 4-8 Gig Ram, all but one are MSI... most are Z77-GD65
~15 Custom built open-air rig cases - Newer ones are hand built out of aluminum and able to hold 6-7 GPU's.  ~10 of my first ones are wood.
~70 Standard Risers
~30 Powered Risers
~20 Add2PSU
2 Black box remote power switches
1 IP KVM

5  Economy / Reputation / Boozer's Rep Thread on: April 10, 2014, 09:33:37 AM
My rep is good... hopefully this helps prove that  Grin

Regarding Leaserig.net:

  • Please PM me with any issues and post here with your opinion after we have worked things out.  I would prefer to keep this just a rep thread and work out any issues via PM.  Then you can post your overall (good/bad) experience here.  Just keeps this thread a bit cleaner and on point.

  • I have quite a few rigs and there are going to be issues... running 7 GPU's in one rig is always tricky Smiley  Most are stable weeks at a time, but if there is a problem just let me know and I'll make it right.  Even with weeks of stability on average per rig, given the number of rigs I have, odds are that someone will have an issue almost daily.  If you are that unlucky person, just PM me.  Again, I am not looking to rip anyone off from this and I will do my best to make it right.

  • The LRP1-4 rigs are Gridseeds with very variable hashrate.  It should average out over time, but let me know if they don't and I will refund/extend the lease to make up for it.

7  Economy / Computer hardware / SOLD - CoinTerra 2.0 TH/s Miner on: February 21, 2014, 07:19:19 PM
I have it in hand and currently mining.

It averages 1.5 TH/s on the pool I am on.  Averages over 1.6 in the Cointerra dashboard.

I can get it ready to ship quickly. Asking for somewhere around $12,000 USD cash or BTC equivalent. PM me any offers and we can work out the details.

Insured shipping to the US is included.  Anywhere else will be on the buyer although we can negotiate some of the shipping.

Thanks!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Recover BIP38 passphrase with some given information? on: January 02, 2014, 11:03:18 PM
I used https://liteaddress.org/ to generate some keys.  I put my passphrase in a truecrypt container and seem to have forgot my truecrypt p/w  Cry

However, I have made a transaction, so for one address I have the private key and BIP38 encrypted private key....   Since I have the BIP38 encrypted key and the private key after decryption, can I recover my pass phrase?

10  Economy / Currency exchange / BTC to USD withdrawal via ACH or Dwolla or USD to BTC via Dwolla at CampBX on: August 23, 2013, 07:23:57 PM
So... I've been using OKpay since MTGOX to Dwolla died.  OKPay card has kinda been a pain... some companies in the US only accept US issued credit cards (US business bastards)

I found out today that you can withdraw USD via ACH or Dwolla from CampBX.  I haven't used them much but am going to try them out.  I have been looking for some easier way like this for awhile.  As a way to get more people on there, they give a 10% lifetime off commissions if you sign up with a link they provide: https://CampBX.com/register.php?r=4Ml3kNjFsev  The 10% goes to whoever's link you use.

I just found out today, so will be testing them and posting personal experience here in the next month or two, let me know if you know cheaper/better/easier way, but this seems decent for now.

12  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS]BFL 60GHash/s Single SC August 23 2012 Pre-order #60xx - 30BTC each O.B.O on: August 01, 2013, 11:41:47 AM
Have several to sell.  Will do escrow for a few months, but I am selling these pre-orders to hedge myself against BFL.... so I would get the escrow regardless at some point as you are bidding on the risk/reward of my pre-order position. PM or post offers.  LTC also accepted.

30 BTC each will get get em now and I'll entertain lower offers based on interest.
13  Bitcoin / Pools / Max miners per worker per pool? on: June 23, 2013, 03:09:14 PM
I saw in an older thread that Deepbit had a limit of 20 miners per worker account.... Is the max number of miners per worker account different for every pool?  Or is there a default/standard that is normally used?

I have ~13 rigs and ~85 gpus so managing worker accounts per rig across different alt coins is cumbersome... so I was just curious what the "standard" for max workers per miner is (or if it exists).
14  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / SAPPHIRE 100352-4L 7950 Power Draw on: May 07, 2013, 03:33:36 PM
I have seen voltage and power draw for this card all over the place. 1.17v to 1.25v and 200 watts to 305 watts.  Probably due to different clocking etc...

I believe the stock voltage is 1.25v.  Can someone running at this voltage tell me their hash rate (Scrypt and or SHA) and power draw at the max OC for this card?

As a side bonus, can the voltage for this card be changed in Linux or does one have to flash the bios for a lower voltage in Linux?  I heard cgminer/atitweak etc dont change the voltage in linux.
15  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 6 x 7950 Power and hash rate on: May 01, 2013, 04:48:02 PM
I had been going 6 x 7970, but everyone says the 7950 is best.

Is 620 Kh/s easily doable on most 7950's?  I get 670-720 Kh/s on my 7970's

What power supply is needed for 6 7950's?  I'll have 3 on powered risers and 3 getting power off the board.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Motherboard of choice for 6 or more GPU's on: April 24, 2013, 10:46:13 PM
I'm building some more rigs.... Just wanted to figure out what today's motherboard of choice was for miners using 6 or more GPUs.  I would like to get 7 or 8 on a board but wasnt sure what boards support it.  I dont think there are any boards that support 8 gpu's, but let me know if you know of one.

Thanks!
17  Bitcoin / Mining support / PCI-E 1x riser issues (GPU fan surges and freeze on boot) 6 x 7970 on: April 20, 2013, 08:30:17 AM
I have the MSI 890FX-GD70 mobo running Linux (SDK 2.8 and Cat 13.1) and was trying to get 6 x 7970's up and running on it.  Well I did get 6 x 7970's up and mining for about an hour when I decided to tweak a single cards engine/memory speed for some better performance.  After sever tweaks, the computer froze.  Something gone wrong with tweak I thought... I'll just reboot.  I rebooted and it froze around where X would start  Huh  At the same time the GPU on the PCI-E 1x slot fan sounded like it was surging, going from idle to 100% and back... over and over again.  I unplugged the 1x slot and the rig booted fine.  I also moved the card in the 1x slot to a 16x slot and the card was fine.  I tried a different card in the 1x slot and computer froze.  So it must be an issue with the 1x slot or riser  Roll Eyes

It is a powered 1x riser I made myself... I have two other 16x to 16x powered risers I made myself and they still work fine.  I would try another 1x riser but I dont have any (they are on order).  I have the A1 to B17 pin short in place in the 1x slot.  3 powered risers and 3 unpowered.

Anyone had any issues like this?
18  Economy / Marketplace / Trading BTC for goods and trust/security on: February 14, 2012, 03:43:36 AM
I am new on this forum and I would like to buy what another new member on this forum, Oracle24, is selling.  However, it is a $6,000 deal we are talking about and neither of us really trust each other, which is smart I guess, we both want to be protected.

edit:  Ebay feedback links removed as it doesnt really matter, lol.

He wants me to Send BTC, or use paypal and send as a gift... I will be using my business credit card to fund this purchase. I dont have pictures yet, but he said he would get them to me this week.

He is scared of paypal and charges backs, and I'm scared of sending as a gift, or just straight BTC.  How do you guys handle trades like this?
19  Economy / Goods / WTB - 10 x 5970's - will buy singles on: February 11, 2012, 06:27:59 AM
I'm setting up a few rigs and am looking to buy 10 5970'.  PM me your offer or let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Underclocking memory causing crash? on: February 04, 2012, 03:31:56 PM
Obviously overclocking memory will cause a crash, but has anyone had an issue with underclocking?

I have a MSI Twin FROZR III 6950 and I bought a Sapphire 5830 for pure mining in the same rig.  I have a dedicated rig with 3 x 5830 running underclocked mem to 350 Mhz just fine, but that is with Trixx.

I am using Afterburner on this one and it only lets me drop to 500 Mhz... but anytime I do, its an almost immediate crash...
