I have it in hand and currently mining.

It averages 1.5 TH/s on the pool I am on.  Averages over 1.6 in the Cointerra dashboard.

I can get it ready to ship quickly. Asking for somewhere around $12,000 USD cash or BTC equivalent. PM me any offers and we can work out the details.

Insured shipping to the US is included.  Anywhere else will be on the buyer although we can negotiate some of the shipping.

Thanks!

So ANTMiners do the same 1.6TH for about $7K, are you really stuck on the $12K price?

Quick question -- what is the wattage on your unit? I've heard varying reports. About 1600?

Also, are you paying shipping? Insured?

If anybody needs help with the math:

I'm sure I can mine at least $7k out of it.  Not stuck on the 12K price, but looking for something in that range.

I actually have not checked the wattage.  According to Cointerra's site, its around 2000 watts.  I updated the original post with how I will handle shipping.

That doesnt help much with the math unless you have a crystal ball that lets you see into the future. Also, what price for electricity did you use in it as that would make a difference (up or down) to whoever buys it based on their electric costs. That is also a start date of March 1st.... which someone could have it a week before if we worked out a deal today (depending on where they live).

IF difficulty continues giant growth and IF BTC does not rise in price at all then it is probably not worth it.  However, I believe difficulty growth will start to slow and bitcoin will start to rise again.  However that is just my opinion.  That is why I thought about selling it now...  If I can get $11k-$12k then I'll take the sure thing and let someone else deal with the risk.  If not, then I'll just keep it.

What Antminers are you buying?  Last I checked they were pulling 200 gh/s overclocked and were $1200.

AntMiners are 1.45BTC so 1.45*8 Ants * 555 *AVG BTC price) = $6438 so it's less than $7K

Yeah its just a hard time to sell stuff with the BTC/USD decrease.  I mean with GOX at $100/BTC it does make you think... maybe $555 isn't as low as things may go  Sad

I just can't take the gamble on a CT unit, even though it would really be a lot of fun.  FWIW those ANTMiners run great on $40 eBay sourced Corsair TX650 PSUs all day long...  I should know I have 3.2TH of them  Wink

You make a great point.

The combination of lower BTC$USD, crazy diff jumps, and Antminers that arrive in 7-10 days from your order, because they're already in stock.... are wrecking havoc on used ASIC sales.. as they should.

As of this moment, AntMiner S1's are 1.11 BTC, WinkDex says BTC$USD is 629.59, meaning each S1 is $698.84. Add $50 for a PSU, and at 200GH (which 100% of the S1's seem to run at) that's $3.74/GH for NEW equipment. NEW.  (yes, the S1's pull 2-3x the power per GH Cointerras do, so if power is expensive for you, that's a consideration)

To me that says anything MORE than $3.75/GH for USED hardware is too much money. Given how fast S1's ship, you can't even argue the used one would arrive faster..

Anyway, that's my long way of saying, I agree, and $12k is way too much for a used Cointerra box.
