Nabasa ko sa broadsheet kahapon sa Philippine Star na uumpisahan na daw iregulate ng BSP o Bangko sentral ng Pilipinas ang Bitcoin. Ang malabo sa article ay kailangan daw mag pa register "They would need to register as a money transfer Business. At some point, if they are not registered with the BSP no Bank will deal with them" yan ang pahayag daw ni Nestor Espenilla Jr and Deputy Governor ng BSP.
Mukhang hindi pa yata malinaw talaga sa kanila kung ano ang Bitcoin.

The title says it all I guess. I'm looking for a site that sells flashlights that accepts Bitcoin as payment. I found a site earlier but the site doesn't look like its selling flashlight directly I'm looking for flashlights like Nitecore, Olight, Convoy, Foursevens, Surefire or Fenix Site that ships overseas would be great.

Bangladesh's central bank said on Monday its account at the U.S. Federal Reserve had been hacked and money was stolen, but that some of the funds were traced to the Philippines and recovered.
The New York Fed, which manages the account, denied that its systems were breached but did not say whether funds had been drained from the account, citing confidentiality.
Bangladesh Bank said it was working with anti-money laundering authorities in the Philippines. It did not say how much money had been stolen and a spokesman declined to comment.
Bangladesh's central bank has around $28 billion in foreign currency reserves.
To date, there is no evidence of any attempt to penetrate Federal Reserve systems in connection with the payments in question, and there is no evidence that any Fed systems were compromised," a New York Fed spokeswoman said.
She declined to comment on whether the U.S. central bank's New York branch was investigating the claim by its overseas counterpart.
Some 250 central banks, governments, and other institutions have foreign accounts at the New York Fed, which is near the centre of the global financial system. The accounts hold mostly U.S. Treasuries and agency debt, and requests for funds arrive and are authenticated by a so-called SWIFT network that connects banks.

Since Philippines now have it's own sub-section, maybe it's about time to discuss who will be the best person who will act as Moderator for that section to make sure everything is running smooth on that side of the world. So lets try to drop some name's please and see why he/she is fit for that role. I'll start with DabsHe is here for quite some time now and very knowledgeable about the hows and why's of Bitcoin. He is a trusted guy and never heard of anything negative about him.

Some of us are hoping that Bitcoin will be accepted by the public and be used in the future like an ordinary currency. However, I noticed that the word "Bitcoin" itself is not yet in the Merriam Websters dictionary. (please correct me if i'm wrong) So I searched how can a word be added in the Merriam-Websters dictionary and here's the answer To decide which words to include in the dictionary and to determine what they mean, Merriam-Webster editors study the language as it's used. They carefully monitor which words people use most often and how they use them.
Each day most Merriam-Webster editors devote an hour or two to reading a cross section of published material, including books, newspapers, magazines, and electronic publications; in our office this activity is called "reading and marking." The editors scour the texts in search of new words, new usages of existing words, variant spellings, and inflected forms–in short, anything that might help in deciding if a word belongs in the dictionary, understanding what it means, and determining typical usage. Any word of interest is marked, along with surrounding context that offers insight into its form and use.

I have 3 sports that I usually bet my BTC
not in order
Basketball MMA Boxing
Reason why I chose those 3 is because there's a lot of reviews for those kind of sports that can help you decide where to put your BTC
