1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Jaxx wallet ethereum qr code is actually iban number. on: June 16, 2017, 11:06:32 AM
JAXX wallet really cool wallet the only thing I realized lately is the qr-code which shows up as an ETHEREUM public key is actually an IBAN-number and not what it seems to be. Sending some ETH to different addresses other than JAXX to JAXX transaction gets tricky. Talked already to helpdesk they cannot help me anyone has an idea how to change this again into the real ETH public key ?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Poloniex who is who on: May 30, 2016, 07:48:21 AM
I am trading most of the time on Poloniex and also transfer big amounts of crypto currency from and to this exchange.
They have a "Know your customer policy" for the people who transfer more than 7000 US$ into fiat a day.
I think it is a good exchange, there is one more thing I think which would make this trading platform more transparent, if people and customer would have more knowledge about the company itself.
The info I gathered from the web:

The actual company : Poloniex, Inc.
1013 Centre Rd, Suite 403-B
Wilmington, DE 19801

Poloniex is registered with FinCEN as an MSB (Money Services Business), registration number 31000055869515. Poloniex may be required to file details of account activity to this organization.

15  Economy / Exchanges / Cryptsy Problems Bitcoins frozen on: June 01, 2015, 01:07:07 PM
Hi I am trading on the Cryptsy Trading Platform and sold recently +-350000 Ripples which gave me +- 13 Bitcoins. All in a sudden Cryptsy is withholding funds and is not paying out anymore. After asking what the reasons are for not paying anymore they wrote: "Due to not having 2FA enabled, more information is required before we can process your withdrawal".
Than they asked me for the security question which I also answered. I am still waiting for some reaction.
Is this normal with Cryptsy ?
Has anyone had similar problems like this with Cryptsy before?
Thanks for the reply
