9  Economy / Auctions / Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 13, 2014, 12:04:52 PM
I'm putting up for auction the website AdBit.co, a advertising network that consists of bidding on users websites, the higher the bid, the greater the exposure share on the publisher adpspace.

You can learn more here: https://AdBit.co
Bitcointalk.org topic discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=449010

This is a great project, there's almost no competition and there's space for a lot of improvements/ideas.
I see a bright future for this in the correct hands, the Bitcoin world needs/deserves a quality advertising network.

The reason I want to sell the website is personal, I can give you some insight privately, but I won't discuss it in public.

Here's some information/statistics for the 66 days of its existence:
3,426 registered users
1,069 websites
1,562 adspaces
3,504 bids
136,317,178 adspace views
30.07 BTC in deposits
15% fee, 4.24 BTC profit
The site runs on a $20 droplet on DigitalOcean.com

If you're the winner of the auction, I will deliver to you, by your preferred method, all the files, database and domain.
I will pay every user balance before the transfer of ownership, so balances will be 0 for all users in  the database.
The database will be exactly as it is at the moment I close the website, so all current statistics will be kept, it's your job to change users deposit addresses or do whatever you feel necessary to run the website.
I will keep all private keys for the current bitcoin deposit addresses.
I will provide support for free for 7 business days after delivery, after that I may charge a hourly fixed rate.

Terms:
Auction starts at 10 BTC, minimum increments of 0.50 BTC.
The winner of the auction will be the highest bid by April 26, 2014, 00:00 UTC.
Bids by private message/email (anonymous for the public) are accepted.
I reserve the right to cancel this auction or any bid at any time.
I reserve the right to extend the auction deadline.

13  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitstamp support taking over 3 days to reply (Verify account) on: December 03, 2013, 09:26:54 PM
I'm trying to get my account verified for several weeks now, I'm sending support tickets and they take 3 days to answer.
Anyone else with the same problem/delays?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Minimum payment/fees on: December 03, 2013, 11:19:04 AM
Code:
Payments (transaction outputs) of 0.543 times the minimum relay fee
(0.00005430 BTC) are now considered 'non-standard', because storing them
costs the network more than they are worth and spending them will usually
cost their owner more in transaction fees than they are worth.

Is this still true?

0.00005430 BTC is about $0.05 nowadays.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Why you should use faucets and other similar sites on: November 07, 2013, 05:10:49 PM
1 year ago, CoinAd.com was a faucet, paying 0.003 BTC / day, it was worth almost nothing at that time, people kept saying it wasn't worth their time.
Today, those 0.003 BTC are valued ~ $0.90 $3.

You never know how much BTC will be ($) in the future, so every satoshi today, counts for the future Smiley
16  Other / Off-topic / Proxy/VPN/Tor detection on: October 27, 2013, 09:36:35 PM
I need a service/website that detects visitors using proxies/vpn/tor.

http://www.blocked.com/ is way too expensive.

Ideas?

Does anyone know any good Windows alarm clock? I need to go for a walk every hour but I need a reminder for that.

Ladies and gentlemen's... I present to you... a DOUCHEBAG!

Hello,

Can you please edit your post on my thread?

Links: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=136594.msg3034288#msg3034288
Reason: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=136594.msg3037631#msg3037631

Strike the current test and put like a note saying it was a misunderstanding or something.

Thanks!

Is there any incentive for me to do so? What would I receive for this? :-
