2  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Das Keyboard Professional 4 - mechanical keyboard w/Cherry MX blues on: May 15, 2016, 03:27:02 PM
Used for a little less than a year in a non-smoking, clean home environment.

Great mechanical keyboard with the clicky Cherry MX Blue switches that you'll love to type on. Solid construction, a really well made keyboard.

Nothing is wrong with it, I've just moved on to a different keyboard. Some slight fading on the home row keys but that's it.

Asking $100 in BTC. Will include USPS Priority shipping if you are in the USA. I no longer have the retail box but I will package this very well so it arrives safely.

3  Bitcoin / Electrum / OSX "connecting..." on: October 04, 2015, 12:59:21 AM
So, how do I get Electrum to work? OSX Yosemite, restoring seed from Trezor (because of asshole doing transaction malleability attack that made coins on my trezor unspendable).

I've tried connecting to various servers, auto-connect, nothing works.

Any ideas?
4  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / how long for doublespend to expire from mempool? on: October 03, 2015, 09:28:45 PM
Somehow my Trezor did a doublespend. Not sure how, but now my balance is unspendable until this gets resolved.

Anybody know how long it takes?

Here are the tx's if you don't believe me.

5  Economy / Web Wallets / Using the blockchain.info Node.js API on: September 13, 2015, 02:19:41 AM
I'm trying to use the Blockchain.info Receive module documented here:
https://github.com/blockchain/api-v1-client-node/blob/master/docs/Receive.md

I can get the create method working properly, but I'm not exactly sure how to setup the receive.listen method to listen for the callback.

Namely, this point here:

Code:
server: http server (object, required)

what do i put in the server parameter, the address of my server? or the callback url that i specified when creating the forwarding address?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / noobish linux rpi bitcoind question on: July 20, 2015, 02:22:52 PM
I finally set up my full node on a Raspberry Pi 2. I'm using an external HD to store the /.bitcoin datadir.

Before when I just ran bitcoind on the SD card, I could do bitcoin-cli getinfo and it would work.

Now when I try to run that command, it seems to be looking in my ~/.bitcoin directory and not finding anything, so it doesn't work. I checked my IP on bitnodes and I confirmed that my node is running.

How do I getinfo when I'm using an external HD?
8  Economy / Goods / [FS] $15 La Colombe Coffee gift card on: June 09, 2015, 12:44:39 AM
I found this gift card and I no longer live in a city with La Colombe.

$15 gift card only is valid in their physical locations, not for website purchases.

They have locations in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, and D.C.

9  Other / Off-topic / Wallet Recommendations (fiat not crypto) on: April 26, 2015, 10:51:12 PM
I've been using a clear plastic wallet I got from Daiso for the past year and it's starting to get embarrassing. Anybody have a cool wallet they recommend?

I like smaller wallets that I can fit in my front pocket, just enough to hold a few cards and maybe some paper money.

Bonus if cool features like RFID blocking tech.

Anybody here been in programs like this? I am applying to some, just because I want to learn more. Wondering if anyone has some feedback from their own experience.
14  Other / Off-topic / cryptocurrency addiction on: December 08, 2014, 12:34:26 AM
does anyone else have it?

i mean, i keep pouring money into crypto because i believe in it, but also because of the insane *highs* (and lows) that i felt throughout 2013.

17  Economy / Services / [BB] signature contest - 50 Monero (XMR) award on: October 16, 2014, 01:49:03 AM
this is very simple. i just want a cool looking signature that says "saddambitcoin".

i will be awarding 50 Monero (XMR) for my favorite signature design, which i will use for an indefinite period of time on bitcointalk.

Guidelines: I like the creative designs and tasteful use of colors like the Win88 and DiceBitcoin campaigns recently. Something that pushes the boundaries of what can be done with a Hero Member account as well. Something bold and striking.

Rules: I reserve the right to end the contest at any time when I pick the winner.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Saddambitcoin's Speculation Reading Club on: August 06, 2014, 08:45:44 PM
Hello everyone. I have been increasingly interested in learning more since becoming involved in bitcoin in 2012.

With such a depth of intelligent and thoughtful people on this forum I was hoping that some wiser members could recommend some reading materials.

Pretend I am a complete noob and recommend some books on economics, technical analysis, markets, etc. I currently have an excess amount of time that I can dedicate towards reading and I would be very grateful for the help.
