"Hostnodes" fournira l'espace, cpu, ram.

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / What a stupid scammer. on: March 23, 2016, 04:02:32 AM
Just wanted to share a funny scam attempt.

I was trying to sell my knife (Karambit UV MW), and someone added me straight away. He said he wanted to pay on real money. I said I only accepted bitcoin, and he said okay. He quickly rushed into which escrow I was going to use. But I kept persisting with the question of "Can you give me your bitcoin address so I know you actually have the money?"

He finally listened to me, and said he had exactly $20 in good wallet, and have me the address 1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX.

I checked it straight away, and found out the address was a wikileaks address Roll Eyes

It turns out when you search up "bitcoin address", the wikileaks donation address is the first thing that comes up. What a joke. Grin
6  Other / Off-topic / How many bits of entropy is your bitcoin wallet password? on: January 26, 2016, 11:37:41 AM
Hey guys, I have been thinking about my password/passwords for all the different accounts i use (bitcointalk, steam, Skype, Facebook, Google, etc), and ive realised that my password certainly isn't very strong. The only password that I can proudly say is strong is my bitcoin wallet password, which had 322 bits of entropy.

So how about you guys? Are your passwords strong? How strong?
7  Economy / Services / 25% ALL LEDGER PURCHASES! NOT FOR PROFIT! on: January 23, 2016, 11:53:51 PM
Hey guys! Im looking to provide a non-for-profit discount service on the Ledger site. They provide hardware wallets, which I have tried and used and honestly think extremely high value for money. They provide an affiliate program, which pays the affiliate 25% of all sales from their referral.

So I'm offering 25% of all purchases, if you purchase something under my referral link, and give me a proof of purchase (invoice, confirmation email, etc), I will pay you the referral paint l payment. Basically 25% off for you.

All purchases on their $15 HW.1 wallet come with free worldwide shipping. This wallet is essentially the same as the Ledger Nano, except that the security card does not come with a leather pouch, and a metal sliding cover. U personally just trimmed my HW.1 and built a little metal cover for it myself. Saving myself the extra $15 dollars and the $5 on shipping works Smiley

I make no profit from this transaction, every part of the referral payment goes to you.

Although tips are welcome! Smiley

How to get this offer:

1. Request for me to PM you, and I will PM you with a referral code.

2. Use the referral code to purchase the product of your choice

3. Email me (straux@mailcrypt.xyz) your confirmation email, with the invoice as an attachment. Dont forget to put your BTC address in, too!

4. I will send the BTC to your address! (If your details are legit)

5. Leave a review in this thread, good or bad!

9  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Has anyone used the HW.1 or Ledger Nano Bitcoin wallet? on: January 21, 2016, 03:41:36 AM
Hey guys, i'm thinking of purchasing a Ledger Nano. Has anyone had any previous experiences with it? It seems like a good investment.

PS. To set up my wallet, should I pay an extra 5 pounds just for a virtual machine?

EDIT - you have to pay an extra 5 pounds for shipping, and a kind gentleman has pointed out I can simply download their ISO file and stick it into a disk or something.
10  Economy / Gambling / With your gambling, do you binge or prolong the spending of your funds? on: January 20, 2016, 12:40:47 PM
Hey bitcointalk, as the title reads, do you binge (save up your bankroll and gamble it all once you have alot) your funds, or do you slowly gamble, say a 10 dollars a day?

I personally binge Cheesy
11  Economy / Gambling / What makes PrimeDice the best? Or one of them? on: January 19, 2016, 11:50:46 AM
Based on alot of people talking about it, I've come to the conclusion (that may be wrong) that PrimeDice is the most popular bitcoin casino. But why? I can't use primedice in my country, so I don't know.

Is it the community?
Is it the increasing faucet?
Is it the good looks?
Is it the good reviews?
Is it the knowledge that they've survived more than a million dollars in loss?
12  Economy / Gambling / Casino that does/doesn't admit they've been hacked? on: January 13, 2016, 03:10:39 AM
So, I once heard from a friend a quote.

"All banks have either been hacked and they about l admit it, or they've been hacked, but they haven't admitted it."

So I'm wondering if this is the same case with gambling sites, and would you trust one that has admitted they've been hacked, or one that keeps it quiet?
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Ugliest gambling site? on: January 07, 2016, 06:42:24 AM
Hi guys, most of you have probably played in multiple gambling sites in your bitcoining life, so as the title says, what is the ugliest gambling site you've played on?

I have a few reservations, but none of them are truly bad sites. They have a great and friendly community and all the essentials - a faucet, fast rolls and a working site.

I'm gonna keep quiet before I post my list. I don't want to be rude Tongue
14  Economy / Gambling / Why is primedice restricted in some countries? on: January 04, 2016, 01:16:10 AM
Hey guys, I've heard alot of good things about primedice and how it has a great community and interface.

I've always wanted to bet there, but for some reason primedice restricts players from using their site in my country, Australia. Why is this?

Also, is it restricted in any other countries?
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Is there a service like this? on: December 08, 2015, 09:47:26 PM
Some sort of bank you can link your paycheck up to, no matter what currency it is, the bank will automatically convert all your incoming payments into bitcoin, and maybe even relay the funds down to your personal address.
