Today I was checking spam folder in one of my emails. Not the main one. I use this email address on low importance sign ups where I don't trust that website that much to use my main email. And I found maybe 40 messages send by same person between 12th and 21th of March. Here is full message that I got (removed password and BTC address from it: Hi, today there are sadly some bad news for you. Your device was infected with my private malware, your browser wasn't updated / patched, in such case it's enough to just visit some website where my iframe is placed to get automatically infected, if you want to find out more, Google: Drive-by exploit. My malware gave me full access to all your accounts, full control over your device and it also was possible to spy on you over your cam. If you think this is some bad joke, no, I know your password: ******* I collected all your private data and I RECORDED YOU (through your cam) SATISFYING YOURSELF! After that I removed my malware to not leave any traces and this email was sent from some hacked server. I can publish the video of you and all your private data on the whole web, social networks, over email and send everything to all your contacts. But you can stop me and only I can help you out in this situation. The only way to stop me, is to pay exactly 900$ in Bitcoin (BTC). It's a very good offer, compared to all that horrible shit that will happen if I publish everything. You can easily buy Bitcoin (BTC) here: www.paxful.com , www.coingate.com , www.coinbase.com , or check for Bitcoin (BTC) ATM near you, or Google for other exchanger. You can send the Bitcoin (BTC) directly to my wallet, or install the free software: Atomicwallet, or: Exodus wallet, then receive and send to mine. My Bitcoin (BTC) wallet is: *************** Yes, that's how the wallet / address looks like, copy and paste it, it's (cAsE-sEnSEtiVE). I give you 3 days time to pay. After receiving the payment, I will remove everything and you can life your live in peace like before, don't worry, I keep my promise. Next time make sure that your device got the newsest security updates. ClientMailID: 6993041 Usually I don't pay attention to such messages, but there is one interesting moment - in few of his message he wrote one password that I really used in some not important websites. In other his messages he wrote password which looks similar to that one, but I haven't used such one. And in few other messages he just wrote some random passwords made from my email address. There is one thing that made me sceptical about him - he wrote that he recorded me satisfying myself with my camera. But there is one thing - there is no camera in front of my PC, so, even if would did what he wrote, there is no chance for him to record it . Also, he said that my browser wasn't updated, but I always use newest version of browsers. Finally, he gave me 3 days, but few weeks already passed since I got these messages and nothing didn't happened. I also didn't noticed any strange attempts to login to any of my accounts recently. It looks like a bit more sophisticated scam attempt. maybe it's really possible that he got my password from one of websites where I used. For example it can be some IPTV providers or Bitcoin faucets which I used many years ago and who sold their database. I'm not concerned that much because on all websites that really matters I use different and strong websites and 2FA enabled. But I advise for everyone to take safety seriously. Use 2FA, make strong and different website for every website. Don't use your main email address for low importance sign-ups. And don't fall into such scams.

I don't like getting much attention and I don't like to brag about my own achievements. But reaching 10 000 posts doesn't happens every day, so, I want to tell few words about it. When I signed up here in 2015, I had no expectations that one day I will reach such milestone. And I have no expectations that I will reach 20 000 posts in the future. It's possible, but it will take many years to do it and you never know what will happen. Though, I must admit that if I would through my post history, I would delete many of my posts, especially from my early days here. But probably many would do same things. It's something similar like going through your old photos on social media - maybe it was ok to upload it when you were young and stupid, but nobody wouldn't understand if you would upload such photo now. I know that reaching 10 000 posts isn't something very special and at least 128 members from 3.5 million have made more, but I don't pretend to be somehow special.

EuroBasket 2022 in 4 countries will begin on September 1st. Here is the groups: We will see almost all biggest European stars here like Doncic, Giannis, Jokic and others. It's probably strongest Eurobasket in in many years and it's a bit strange, considering that after change of format, Eurobasket lost importance and spots to Olympics/World Cup aren't given there anymore. Main favorites according to bookmakers is Serbia, France, Greece and Slovenia. Lithuania and Spain also can be considered as contenders. More details about tournament can be found on official website: https://www.fiba.basketball/eurobasket/2022

2022 Ice Hockey World Championship 2022 in Finland started on Friday. I haven't found thread about it, so I made this one. Here is the current situation in both groups and so far there were no surprises: 4 best teams get out of group to 1/4 final and team which finish last in each group drops to lower division. Russia and Belarus were removed from tournament because of war in Ukraine and they were replaced by France and Austria. All details about tournament on officila website: https://www.iihf.com/en/events/2022/wm

Today I was looking for one Bitcointalk thread on Google. I visited one link that I got in search results and got this notification: It says "Bitcointalk.org would like to use your current location". At first I thought it's phishing website, but no, it's original Bitcointalk. I have never faced it on Bitcointalk before. Does it come from Cloudflare? Because I don't know why theymos would want to know our location.

Today I got notification that a lot of posts (over 100) on my topic ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1711002.0) were deleted. Here is one example of deleted posts: A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted. Some of these posts were made in 2017 or 2018, some just recently. Can someone tell reason why my posts were deleted? Because in all these years everything was ok and I never experienced such thing.

Hi, Recently I tried to visit Faucethero.com and some faucets hosted on this service, but I wasn't able to do that. My browser blocked access to this website because it's infected with malicious programs. It's blocked on Firefox and Chrome and it only worked on Opera. Does anyone else have same issue right now?

Got this email notification from Coinbase today. Beginning soon, Coinbase will require customers to submit a verified identity document in order to send and receive cryptocurrencies. Submitting a verified identity document will ensure no disruption to your account. Additionally, Coinbase will increase your daily buy/sell limit to 100,000 EUR. To learn more, please visit this support article: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2956858What are your thoughts about it? I know that many people are using Coinbase as crypto wallet, not as exchange. For example, crypto trading still aren't available in my country on Coinbase. Coinbase always been called as crypto bank, and we shouldn't be surprised about this decision. But still, require KYC in order just to send/receive crypto sound ridiculous. Do you think that many people who are using Coinbase as crypto wallet will leave this platform?

Recently I found new microwallet, called Faucet.ly https://faucet.ly/Did anyone tried it? Acording to their stats they have 37 faucets currently and already paid over $400. They support Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin currencies. Faucet.ly have their own faucet script, but API documentation looks very similar like on other microwallet services. I saw their advertisement on Bitcointalk ad slots, what isn't a cheap way to advertise, so it means that they have initial budget and it can be legit service. Offcourse, it also can be revival of Epay.info . What do you think about it?
