1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Warning With Bitrue Exchange. on: November 21, 2021, 01:17:05 PM
Be careful using BITRUE. I have used them for 8 months without any problems. Friday I purchased $20k worth of VTHO and haven't been able to withdrawal. I have been told countless times that they will process it manually in a few hours. But as of now, they are still in my account. I have reached out to them via messages and inbox on Twitter and have been told the same lines each time

6  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Price Slips Further Below $8000, CME Bitcoin Futures Manipulation Suspec on: September 27, 2019, 09:47:59 AM
This week has turned to be a major disappointment for Bitcoin investors as Bitcoin price lost 20% by now. Earlier on Wednesday, September 25, Bitcoin lost $1500 in flash crash going below $8500 and striking panic in the market. Since then the bears have held a dominant position over the bulls.

Slipping downwards further, Bitcoin breach the support of $8000 and hit a low of $7935 on Thursday, September 26. At the time of writing, BTC price sits at $8000 levels. As per the observations made by Arcane Research, there’s a strong speculation of manipulation of the Bitcoin Futures contracts offered by CME.

The report states BTC price falling an average of 2.72% during the settlement period each month, since January 2018. And as the trend follows this time as well, the BTC price sunk below $8000 before today futures expiry. Explaining this situation, Arcane Crypto analyst Bendik Norheim Schei said

“These futures contracts are optimal for manipulation. They are settled in dollars and not in bitcoin. The price for the settlement is determined by the bitcoin price in the underlying market. Thus, it is never actual bitcoin that change hands, and it is just an overlying market traded in dollars.”

He further added that it is very unlikely that it is just a mere coincidence that the BTC price tanks before the settlement of CME Bitcoin Futures contracts, every month. Schei added

“The figures thus support a hypothesis that the bitcoin price is manipulated in advance of CME settlement. However, the figures do not say anything about deliberate manipulation or, for example, only a result of investors’ strategy of hedging…”

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Remember How Excited Your Were When BTC on: December 07, 2018, 09:46:57 PM
Remember back when BTC first hit $1000 and everyone was excited? That was an awesome time to be trading cryptos. This forum was live and full of excitement. BTC traded in a nice affordable range between $100 and $600 for the longest time. Everyone was trying to afford the lastest SHA256 miners. You can actually make decent money off mining pools. lol Those were the good times.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Take your Bitcoin out of exchanges now! on: June 13, 2018, 12:02:46 PM
The price of bitcoin is crashing because the price is being manipulated just like they manipulate gold prices.

Gold is manipulated through paper gold derivatives. They sell paper not gold. Bitcoin exchanges are doing the same thing. They are selling bitcoin on exchanges when they don't even have that much supply.

The average consumer just buys bitcoin and leaves it on the exchange. When you buy bitcoin on an exhange you are not buying bitcoin. You are buying an IOU for bitcoin. The exchanges only need to hold as much bitcoin as people will withdraw.

The bitcoin futures market is doing the same thing. You can buy bitcoin from someone who doesnt own any. You can also short bitcoin without actually buying any.

While all this is happening we have the new whales, Dimon, Gates and Buffet publicly bashing while privately accumilating bitcoin. They use the MSM to highlight reasons to sell bitcoin while suppressing reasons to buy across social media. They use algos running across multiple exchanges to pump the price up as they sell you bitcoin IOU's then dump the price down as they buy the HODLERS bitcoin. They buy bitcoin while selling IOU's using an arbitrage method taking advantage of the difference in currency and bitcoin prices between countries.

Take your bitcoin out of the exchange. Store it on your own secure wallet. If we don't keep it in an exchange they can't manipulate the price and you also won't fall victim when the exchange is "hacked" (honest we were hacked we didn't steal your bitcoin).
11  Other / Off-topic / BYE BYE BTC on: May 28, 2018, 10:16:10 PM
Bitcoin is old, outdated, slow and uses too much energy. The price will soon be brought down to a level where miners will abandon it. Prices will continue to be kept lower due to CME futures.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC vs LTC - The Litecoin Transaction Tells the Story on: April 23, 2018, 01:21:40 PM
Why in the world would anyone want bitcoin nowadays? It's slow, expensive and outdated.

In the cryptocurrency world, a massive transaction was completed last week. One user transferred $99 million worth of Litecoin to another wallet owner. In most cases, one would expect such a transaction to be subject to massive fees. That is not the case, as it is one of the cheapest transaction to ever take place in the world of finance.

At a fee of just $0.40, sending millions around the world becomes a trivial matter. More importantly, this low fee does not delay the transaction. It took around 2.5 minutes to settle the transaction with no central parties or banks involved in the process. Compared to regular bank transfers, this process was at least 500 times faster despite the low cost of conducting the transfer. Banks often purposely slow transactions and hold onto funds to make extra interest on them.

The origin and nature of this Litecoin transaction remain unclear. It is also unknown which parties are involved in this massive transaction. It does show cryptocurrencies are a superior way of transferring large amounts of money around the world at virtually no cost. For anyone conducting remittances on a regular basis, cryptocurrency is the only option worth considering.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017 on: November 03, 2017, 06:58:43 PM
A new bill, S.1241 – Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017, would make it a money laundering offense to cross the American border with more than $10,000 in undeclared cryptocurrency. The stated goal of this legislation is to bolster America’s “border protection strategy to interdict and detect prepaid access devices, digital currencies, or other similar instruments, at border crossings and other ports of entry for the United States.

S. 1421 would have the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protections agencies to work together and present Congress with a plan to detect digital currencies at border crossings and information on the infrastructure needed. Needless to say, everyone is curious as to what kind of infrastructure would need to be developed to “detect” the presence of digital currency at border crossings. Suffice to say, the presence of such language in the proposed law reveals the deep lack of understanding that our lawmakers have when it comes to the internet, privacy, and especially digital currencies.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Exchanges are getting greedy as F*uck with their listing fees on: September 21, 2017, 12:15:25 PM
These exchanges are really getting greedy with their fees. Take Nova for example. If we for any reason cannot list your coin the payment will be refunded to your account minus 35% as processing fee. They want to steal 35% of your listing fees for some reason your coin can't be listed there

Cryptopia wants 5 btc or $20,000 to list a coin there. LOL

CoinExchange wants 3 btc to list there
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / WTS 3500 MINEXCOIN on: August 21, 2017, 10:12:37 PM
Serious buyer only. I have a total of 5000 minexcoins. I am willing to sell up to 3500 of them at .00125 each. PM if interested must be Sr member or better.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Heads Up On NovaExchange on: August 16, 2017, 01:24:57 PM
NovaExchange has done away with free voting and the only way to get coin listed now is to pay listing fee and then buy points. Someone (which I believe is NOVA) is pumping the price of the points so that it will cost more to buy just to get listed.

Those who are looking to add their coins may want to look for another exchange that is fairly priced.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fees - I Think We All Been Scammed on: July 19, 2017, 02:03:27 PM
A few months ago there was this bit craze about fees and how fees was outrageous. People were chasing fees just to send the smallest of bitcoins. Then several threads start appearing about using other currencies like LTC, ETH, DOGE, etc. I've noticed for the last 2 weeks I have been able to send btc with only a .07 cent fee tied to it and they were getting confirmed in only a few blocks. Whereas If i tried this mess a few months ago it would sit for hrs if not days. I think those behind the scene were scamming us and controlling the flow of inputs just to fu^k us over!
