1  Economy / Services / VHS Tape (PAL/NTSC) Video to DVD/MP4/AVI - BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH, ETC, PPCoin, Uno on: November 22, 2017, 12:38:34 AM
I offer video transfer services as well as audio transfer services. I can do any quantity of tapes, from a small to a large batch. I can burn them to DVD or send them as audio files.

It will work out at £6 a tape for a raw transfer, or £10 a tape with enhancements such as de-noising. Files will be sent on physical disk with your tape. Price includes a disk.

I can do 10 tapes raw transfer for £50, or 10 enhanced tapes for £65.

This does not use an el-cheapo USB capture dongle, but a proper capture card and a well-maintained VHS machine.

Return shipping to the UK is £4.95, or £7.95 if you would like insured return shipping via special D. Customers from abroad please query return shipping costs. Copies are kept on our hard drives until you have received and verified your tapes and copies for protection agents loss.

The process is simple, you ship your tapes to me, I will evaluate them and then you send me the payment in BTC, LTC, BCH, or ETH/ETC. I also accept PPCoin and UNO.

I will then transfer the tapes for you, and do any enhancements if desired. I will then ship the tapes and media back to you.

I am happy to have payments in escrow with ognasty or psychoticboy until work is complete and you have you tapes and finished media back, if you would prefer. Buyer pays fee.

2  Bitcoin / Electrum / Trying to move BCH from Electrum 2FA wallet - Pulling my hair out with this! on: November 20, 2017, 10:11:34 PM
I have an older electrum 2FA wallet with some old funds i want to move to my present wallets (BTC already moved), and i imported the seed to disable 2FA. I have tried electron cash with the wallet file with 2FA disabled and seed directly with no luck, but the BCH shows at the address on block explorer and on electrum coins as being there. The wallet file just makes electron cash crash.

I cannot sign a transaction with electrum using a BCH server to broadcast, as it throws an error about the signature hash, sigfork hash ID... something to do with replay protection me thinks...

There is no option to import a 2FA seed into electron cash, trying to import it as a standard seed is no dice.

I manually got the xpub and xpriv keys from my electrum wallet files for the multisig addresses (imported the seed into an unpassworded wallet to grab them), and I also have the original 12 word seed with the two of three keys embedded in it.

How can I import this to electron cash or some other method so i can get my BCH out using either the seed or the xpriv keys? I have 2 of the 3 Xpriv keys and all 3 xpub keys to this multisig wallet, with 2-of-3 required.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

4  Other / Off-topic / Strange telephone call from friend, while she was under general during surgery. on: November 16, 2017, 11:25:21 PM
I follow a pagan/spiritual path and am very familiar with the workings of connecting to the spirit world. I meditate, channel, and host meditation weekends and pagan rituals and follow the path of love/service to others.

Today, i would catch something on tape that would blow the minds of everyone I know. I have a friend who went under lung surgery today. Her voice is very raspy and barely usable, i might add. I did not know the time of surgery.

This afternoon, my phone rigs, a withheld\restricted number. Due to this, the call recorder kicks in. Line goes dead. Second call a few minutes later, im asking who is there and there is only silence. I then hear her name, crystal clear as spoken by her. The line then goes dead, I try and call her to no avail. When i got through to them later, turns out at the time of said call, she was under general antithetic during surgery and she has been very near to passing over to the other side this week.

She never called, for she could not and she was sure she did not, i sent her this and she was astounded. Seconds after this call i uploaded a copy of the recording to the telegram cloud to preserve datestamps. The date/time on the recording, as sent to her, her mother and the doctors who heard it, have all validated she was under, and have all validated it is her voice, like when she is healthy.

I deduced her subconscious took her spirit there as she feels closer to me and my partner more so than anyone else, so i questioned her to ask if this is indeed true, as that is typical of experiences I have found. Often you do not remember due to the veiling that covers this reality from the spirit world, placed there so we can make our choices in life without full knowing of where we come from, in particular weather we pick negative, or positive polarity, or stay put and do not pick.

This is undeniable to all of us, doctors we have spoken to say they have seen stranger more spiritual things on their job.

This is the second of its kind I have caught on tape, the first being a negative entity slamming the window as a gust of wind blows through the room during a game of risk, just as the dice are cast and read '66621'. 666 is not an evil number, but the entity wanted to communicate its message. Was easy to remove with sage and white light after requesting it to leave first. This game was recorded, im one of those who has always recorded things for fun:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3uJwanS0CM - Listen for your own enjoyment. Best with earphones. - Recorded on a Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone with easyvoicerecorder, m4a at 64kbps.

I am not sure of beliefs of anyone on here, but i felt this is worthy of discussion. Since my OBE in 2009 when I was 14, i have gone on a spiritual journey that has been the most amazing thing of my life, helping me become more loving, compassionate and seeing how we are all interconnected, and despite trauma in life including losing my mother at 18 (had moved out with help at 16), my eyes were opened to that world beyond the veil, and to always treat all living things with love and compassion, and to respect the beliefs and free will of all.

Amazing what you can catch on tape.

Some will undoubtedly be skeptical, and that is also okay. I have always had high marks and interest in science/physics and deduction, but feel the world of science / spirituality logic / abstract minds can be merged very carefully, as neither is worthless, and too much of science can make one closed off to the finer spiritual vibrations and any other theory but their own, too much spirituality in life can make you have your head in the clouds, and the logical mind is good to help you make sense of abstract concepts and logical concepts.

Thought this might interest people, always good for a discussion and even a debate.

5  Economy / Services / [WTS] - Article Writing Service on: November 16, 2017, 12:05:55 AM
I am a freelance article writer, i can write articles as needed about many topics, fee negotiable. I can show work samples.

Note, i will not write articles for scam websites or make bogus claims, Bit Connect already tried this with me.
6  Economy / Services / [WTS] Audio Cassette Tape to CD\MP3 - High Quality - 0.0005 BTC / 0.05 LTC Tape on: November 16, 2017, 12:00:27 AM
I am offering my service to transfer old (or recently made) audio cassette tapes to MP3 format. Price includes digitally emailed MP3, but an extra cost of 0.0003 BTC for a CD, (Genuine Verbatim, Azo Dye Disks, not crappy CMC disks).

The tapes will be transferred using a modified WM-D6C walkman with a Quartz-Locked motor (Super-D6C, see here: http://www.walkman-archive.com/articles/upgraded_super-d6c.html). Price includes a quick noise reduction and clean up of the audio, although i can leave noise reduction out if the buyer would prefer and/or provided raw PCM WAV files or raw audacity files. Correction of speed will also be carried out if its bad on the original recording. The WM-D6C is connected via Line Out, to Line In, not a headphone port to microphone jack, nor is it one of those Chinese made USB tape transfer things which does poor quality recordings. OCD means i will squeeze out every last drop of what I can from the original tapes, although you will only be as good as the original recording, minus some noise.

For damaged (snapped or mangled) tapes, I add an extra 0.0003 BTC charge.

I accept payment in BTC/LTC.

If anyone is interested, let me know! I can also transfer tapes encoded with Dolby B and Dolby C, the modified WM-D6C does not have the 'pumping' well known with dolby C, as its internal electronics have been re calibrated, including the replacement of old capacitors, etc.

As recorded tapes are often sentimental, and in fact i still make cassette tapes of family etc for fun to this day, and ever since my mother died storage of my older ones and archiving them has been crucial, your tapes will be treated with the utmost respect.
7  Economy / Computer hardware / Zoostorm GT7 Laptop - 256GB SSD, 1.75TB HDD, Nvidia GTX 980M Windows 10 Pro £500 on: November 15, 2017, 11:44:43 PM
I am selling my zoostorm laptop, as I have now built a new desktop and have no use for the laptop. It is a high specification, with:

15 inch screen
32GB RAM
Core i7 4720HQ
Nvidia 980M GPU
256GB SSD, 1.75TB HDD

The laptop is well used, it has some minor wear, and a minor bit of plastic missing by the CPU fan grill area and 4 or so missing screws, but the system is functionally sound with 2 months of (valid) zoostorm warranty which is valid for non cosmetic damage. I will include the original 1TB drive which came with the unit as a separate drive, as you must send it back complete with original parts, to claim (they do allow you to upgrade). This HDD is non-functional but is needed for warranty claim. I just upgraded it and never bothered to claim under the warranty.

Will happily sell for 500GBP equiv in digital currency, escrow accepted via ognasty or psychoticboy (psychoticboy preferred) if the buyer would prefer, buyer pays fee. Also accept payment in LTC, ETH, BCH, PPCoin and NEM. Please no fake ognasty or psychoticboy escrows as has been tried a few times with me on here from buyers/sellers alike, I will always message them personally to verify any set up and ask them to sign a message from their well known addresses and have them confirm the funds have reached them before shipping out. Genuine buyers only please.

Feel free to contact zoostorm yourselves using the machines serial number which i will be willing to provide to a serious buyer, to verify the warranty left before buying.

I will also use this topic to show about validating my identity. This thread being for the public record:

Now I have set up an address used for verifying my identity to people for future transactions and is an address set up for the sole purpose on here and as an identity verifier. I will often use a different address to receive funds, this is merely to verify my identity if any future buyer needs it.

Address: 17v4qbj7aBi8mpBE1A8HaQxLPNJKJ3pFdm

Message: I jacob mayes sign a message from this address, as proof of my identity on BitcoinTalk as of 15/11/2017. If you do a transaction with me, verify my identity through this message and have me sign a message from here if in doubt
17v4qbj7aBi8mpBE1A8HaQxLPNJKJ3pFdm . If we have agreed to send funds for a purchase to any other address, ensure i have signed a message from here first.

Thanks for looking, hope i can find this machine a good home. Note actual formatted capacity of drives are a few GB less. HDD and SSD Securely Wiped with DoD 7-Pass erasure and windows 10 Pro freshly reinstalled and licensed, purchased license key will also be included as i bought the key myself. 8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Someone please post advice to help this guy double spend his coins. on: November 13, 2017, 05:22:14 PM
I don't know what the rules are about posting about topics and linking back to them, but i feel this warrants it. Some guy has had BTC stolen that is stuck and not conforming, but his thread title seems to point to the fact that they are gone irretrievably, when there might be a chance, so those who might be able to help him double spend may not see.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2398107.0

I am unsure of the process although understand to create a raw transaction to double spend and push it, i have tried to do that using blockchains node as a test transaction to find it rejects it as a double spend, and my main node is not synced, so if someone could guide him and maybe help him push his transaction from their own node after helping him, that would be great.

Hope this isn't seen as spam, but if there is any way to stop the little thieving slimeball getting the guys coins, it will make my day a bit better Smiley
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTB] A4 Dominator, small or large OR KNC Titan on: November 13, 2017, 02:54:30 PM
I am interested in buying an A4 dominator. small or large or a KNC Titan. I want one for the living room to use as a heater to mine litecoins directly, no multipool. Not too fussed about profitability, as its electricity we already use on heaters, we have GPUs keeping the other rooms warm <3

Does anyone have any for sale here? Escrow only with psychoticboy, no fake ogansty or psychoticboy emails please, I am wise to that scam. I will pay escrow fee. Serious sellers only, please. If you are in the UK i would be happy to get the train down with a suitcase up to 200 miles to pick up a miner and pay in cold hard cash Smiley

11  Economy / Goods / Panasonic FZ1000EB Bridge Camera - 4K ready + 3 Spare Batteries + Box + Charger on: October 22, 2017, 01:17:20 PM
I am selling my Panasonic FZ1000EB bridge camera. This is a high end bridge camera and is capable of 4K video. It comes with two spare batteries.

The camera is in mint condition although a bit of the symbols on the dial to change shooting modes have rubbed off, functionally the camera is sound.

Selling as I am upgrading to a full DSLR.

The camera tends to cost between £450 - £550 new and does not come with any more than 1 battery, this has four batteries, the original Panasonic battery, a duracell brand spare battery and another spare battery. All of these have been fully charge cycled. This camera was great for a trip to Nepal.

Escrow accepted through OgNasty or Psychoticboy.

If you use 4K video, you will need an SD Card of UHS-3 or faster, UHS-I is too slow and the writing speed will cause 4K video shooting to stop as it cannot write to the card fast enough!

0.09 BTC all in.
12  Economy / Goods / Sony Xperia Z5 - Unlocked - 0.028 BTC on: October 22, 2017, 01:10:38 PM
I am selling my Xperia Z5 as I have updated to the XZ premium. This phone has been fully wiped and unlocked to work on all networks.  0.028 BTC.

The phone is in good condition, with a very minor crack at the top right of the glass, this does not go over the screen area and is confined to one small corner. The rest of the casing is in mint condition.

Escrow Accepted through Ognasty or PsychoticBoy, pictures available upon request, comes with charger and UK plug.

13  Economy / Goods / 128 GB SD Cards - UHS - 3 4K Ready SD Card - 0.013 BTC (2 Available) on: October 22, 2017, 01:08:12 PM
I am selling two Full Size SD cards at 128GB capacity. Originally bought these for a 4K camera but I am selling it. The cards have been fully tested (to capacity) and are genuine.

0.013 BTC each, escrow accepted through Ognasty or PsychoticBoy.

14  Economy / Goods / SparkTronics - www.sparktronics.co.uk Accepting Bitcoin - Console + PC Retailer on: March 20, 2017, 01:36:57 AM
We at sparktronics are now accepting Bitcoin at our online store. We sell games consoles and offer games console repair services, with worldwide shipping. We offer a full warranty on all of our consoles and ship worldwide. We now accept Bitcoin at our E-Commerce shop for consoles, computing gear and console repair services, based in the UK.

The shop is in beta phase so theming is not fully completed, but we are taking orders and have established a history of trading on eBay with feedback as well.

We accept BTC as a payment method with BitPay, we are still adding products we have in stock, but currently have Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 units ready to purchase including some rare low firmware 1.76 PS4s (no interest to the average gamer due to their high price, but for those wanting to run linux on the PS4 they are desirable as you cannot go back once updated past firmware 1.76).

We will have a wider range of consoles listed here over the next few days. Sales have been good on our eBay store and facebook page, but accepting BTC and other digital currencies is also a goal.

Visit us as www.sparktronics.co.uk!

We offer services such as disk drive replacement, BGA rework, etc.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do not buy a KNC titan at higher than 1.5 BTC - read (current diff 102k) on: February 03, 2017, 01:39:59 PM
This is another post i wrote elsewhere to justify my offer on a titan, without free electric. The highest i see advertised is $4000 USD (4 BTC).

Bitmain antminer L3:

https://asicminermarket.com/product/l3-litecoin-miner-250mhs-400watt/

A GOOD KNC TITAN is 400? MH/s @ 1300w @ the wall. Most are 320, my math is based on 400.

The antminer L3 is 250 MH/s, 150 MH/s less.

With the 250 MH/s L3, this is your profit at 10c /kWh: 119.15 USD / month

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=250&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=400&energycost=0.10

With 400 MH/s, 1300w @ the wall:143.12 USD / Month profit (At current diff).

At your cost, it would take 25 months to ROI provided diff remained the same, which it isn't as new hardware is coming on the network pushing it up. So an already 3 year old miner would need more than another two years to ROI if diff remained the same.

The monthly profit of the bitmain is lower, but the price is also £800 GBP lower roughly, and as it is new hardware with a warranty your chance of hitting ROI are better.

You are asking 3.8 BTC. for 4 BTC i can get TWO bitmain units, which would at 500 MH/s at 800w at the wall at 10c / kWh would give me: 238.29 USD a month profit, just under $100 more a month than your titan, new with a warranty from Bitmain.

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=500&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=800&energycost=0.10

Titans used to go for insane prices due to the profit and I made boatloads of profit from my titans and sold them all off just before Bitmain announced it, but even then i got £2000 for one, £1750 for another which was a fair price. Now though, you will not sell one for 1.5 BTC, let alone 4 due to the diff increases.

So we have a comparision:

1. Your titan - 3.8 BTC + Shipping + Customs duty to UK would total 4 BTC probably for me. 4 BTC ($4000, $143 a month profit at 10c kWh so a 30 month ROI if diff remains the same (it wont))
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=400&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=1300&energycost=0.10

2. 1 Bitmain L3 -  1.94 BTC + Shipping + Customs duty to UK, totals 2.1 BTC for me. ($2100, 119 USD/month profit, 21 month ROI at 10c kWh if diff remains the same (it wont) )
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=250&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=400&energycost=0.10

3. 2 Bitmain L3 - 3.88 btc + shipping + customs duty, around 4.1 BTC. ($4100, $238 / month profit at 10c kWh, if diff remains the same)
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=500&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=800&energycost=0.10

Note options 2 and 3 have a warranty, splits it across two rigs (if a KNC titan has a ground fault, all cubes die, if controller dies, your stuffed and many want insane prices for controllers they can't sell)

Due to the risk in purchasing it (diff will probably double by the end of this year, meaning ROI would be 3+ years on this rig, i would have my offers on titans stand at 1 - 1.5 BTC. I am not lowballing but being realistic about my investments.

I thought i would write this hard math, at the current diff of 102k to ensure that people do not get ensnared into buying one, the loss of money will be massive, make no mistake. If you have free electric it MAY be worth the risk, but not with the bitmain HW around.

16  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Faulty PS2, PS3 and PS4 consoles on: February 02, 2017, 01:02:55 AM
I am looking to buy faulty PS2 and PS3 consoles plus any other playstation stuff as I repair/refurbish them and sell them on once they have been repaired, but i tend to buy job lots to repair. I am interested in lots of any size if they can be shipped or even a single console. In the UK i am willing to travel with several suitcases to pick up lots that are too large to practically ship, this has proven the best way to get lots for my shop.

If anyone has any faulty PS2, PS3 and PS4 stuff let me know! Boxed, unboxed. I offer the following:

Faulty PS2 Consoles: 0.007 BTC + shipping
Faulty PS3 Consoles (PS2 BC model, 4 USB ports): 0.015 - 0.03 BTC each depending on condition, if it has box, controllers, etc + shipping.
Faulty PS3 Consoles (All other models, 2 USB ports): 0.01 BTC each + shipping.

Note: I am only interested in consoles which have the original warranty seal intact, especially in the case of PS3 BC models. Heat gun reflows will damage the board beyond reballing repair.

Any other large faulty or working job lots i will be interested in including games controllers etc, let me know a price.

17  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Sony silver PS2 slim - BNIB (unsealed) - 0.1 BTC on: February 02, 2017, 12:36:01 AM
I have a sony PS2 with its cables still sealed (controller came in a bag which never seemed to be sealed) and the PS2 without a single mark on it. This PS2 is BNIB and has never been used, but the box is not sealed; the PS2 still has it's foam around it.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172508053085?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 is my actual listing, i have two BNIB PS2s in identical condition.

This is more than what a PS2 will go for used, but i am asking a bit less on here than ebay as ebay slap fees on.

I also have a PS3 60GB (backwards compatible) in identical condition for 0.35 BTC (currently entertaining some 0.33 BTC equiv. offers i might take) (this was turned on only once to create a user and update firmware, not a mark on it, controller and cables still in little bags), all these consoles do not have a single mark on them, have open boxes but have in the case of the PS2s zero use, in the case of the PS3 60GB Backwards Compatible model, probably two hours use at most.

The 60GB PS3 is here if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172507754466?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I have a fully working black PS2 slim with controller and all leads for 0.025 BTC, and a SEALED BNIB PS2 DualShock 2 controller for 0.04 BTC.

If anyone is interested, drop me a line! Will ship worldwide, based in the UK. Note these consoles are all EU region, although on the PS3 the region lock applies only to PS2 games and PS1 games, not PS3 games.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [ANN] Node Hosting Service - node-hosting.online Seed / Regular Nodes 0.1 B /yr on: January 27, 2017, 06:15:36 PM
I am offering my service to host altcoin nodes on my servers. This would be an ideal service for seed nodes (updating seed node IP addresses), etc. I am doing this at a low cost, of 0.1 BTC / year / coin (0.2 BTC/year if blockchain size is greater than 2GB, 0.4 BTC  a year if the blockchain is greater than 20GB). (Payable in BTC, LTC, DOGE, ETH, ETC, UNO, ZCash, DASH). For coins with no large central blockchain, provided the overall size is less than 2GB, the fee is the flat 0.1 BTC / year rate.

The front end website is not yet ready, but the service is open and accepting orders, this post will keep track of all current nodes hosted by this service. When the site is ready it will be accessible from: www.node-hosting.online

If you have a coin you wish to see live or if you wish to have your own altcoin seed node hosted or just wish to have a node for any altcoin (or even Bitcoin if you really wished, but this is high price due to blockchain size nor would Bitcoin benefit much from it) hosted to support its network, then drop me a message and we can work something out. I am willing to set up the node, let it sync and you can verify it works before payment is sent to me. The year contract starts from the day payment is received and confirmed.

There are a few coins which will be excluded from this service. This includes:

Coins with a premine greater than 1%.
Coins that have been verified to be scams.
Coins where the developers are making obvious attempts to pump their coin with no innovation what so ever.

An example of a coin i will accept: HODLCoin, good innovation weather or not I agree with the current development path of locking up new blocks.
An example of a coin i would reject: Bytecoin, insane premine, BULLS, insane premine.

Joke coins are accepted, and welcomed, such as SHT, URO, etc.

Weather or not I agree with decisions on the coins development will not affect my node hosting service or willingness to host a node, for example i will eagerly host a HODLCoin node if the developers or users would like, even though i disagreed with the hard fork. Provided there are no outright attempts to scam people, i will not have a problem. If your coin (as a developer) is later found to be a scam coin, for example where the developers did a runner after manipulating the market, etc then the coin will be delisted, and no refund will be given, although i will put it to the vote on multiple forums after finding a coin to be a potential scam, in interest of fairness. If the coin node hosting was paid by a user rather than a developer, in fairness to the user who supported the coin the coin node will remain active for the duration of their contract, as the coins users would not be at fault.

The above is because I am against premined shitcoins!

If anyone is interested, drop me a line! If the chain is not moving, I am happy to do 'setgenerate true' on the node to mine and move the chain along. The servers are on 1Gbps connections, and each coin node will be allocated 100 - 300mbps each. In the event of a 'hard fork' of the coin, i will upgrade the software at no extra fee provided i am given notice personally, because i will not keep track of bitcointalk posts and announcement on all the coins!

If they are seed nodes, no need to add them to your config. If you are a mining pool or solo miner for a coin you would benefit from adding supernode relays or seed nodes into your coinconf.conf file, using addnode=hostname/ip, to allow faster block propagation and to reduce orphans.

Each coin will be assigned a unique address for it's payment, this address will remain unchanged and can be used for future renewals. As transactions are public on the blockchain they will be listed next to the currently hosted nodes. Front end website coming soon.

We also offer electrum servers if electrum has been ported to your altcoin, for 0.1 BTC/year. We accept most coins, drop us a line!

FAQ:

Q. Why would anyone want a node hosted?

A. The majority of nodes are on the average home machine. For a small community, this would mean block chain syncing can take a long time, blocks may be slow to propagate from mining pools across all peers. Low-Latency high speed nodes can be used by pools to relay blocks for faster propagation. This can reduce orphan rates for pools, and increase blockchain sync speed and overall network performance and helps decentralize a network by having one more node up.

Q. Do you host seed nodes?

A. Yes we are happy to host seed nodes. A coin should always have multiple seed nodes hard-coded.

Q. What is a seed node?

A. As a user/supporter of a coin it will not be a 'seed node' as only a developer will do that. A seed node is a type of node that the client first looks for peers from.

Q. What is a super node

A. Super node is a low latency network node on a dedicated always-on server. A few of these kinds of nodes are recommended for any coin.

Q. Do you offer electrum servers?

A. Provided there are compiled binaries of electrum and electrum servers for windows or linux, this is no problem.

Q. Can you host multiple nodes for the same coin?

A. Yes i can host multiple nodes for the same coin, for each 0.1 BTC paid for a coin I can host a node for it as there are multiple servers dedicated to my service.

Q. Will you reduce your pricing?

A. Due to the running costs of servers with a decent specification, this is not possible as it would compromise the performance of my nodes if the servers are sub-par.

Q. What is your server operating system?

A. Windows Server 2012 on some servers, Ubuntu Linux on others, depends on the server.

Q. Can you mine to move the chain along?

A. I can dedicate 1 CPU core / coin to mine to move a stalled difficulty 0 blockchain, via in-wallet miner if one is available.

Q. Can I cancel my hosting?

A. Once a coin node has been paid for, you cannot cancel and the node will remain hosted for the coin until the contract runs out.

Q. Do you offer monthly plans?

A. It would seem pointless to offer monthly plans as coin nodes are something you want up for a reasonable time, potentially indefinitely especially seed nodes. So 1 year is the contract length.

Q. What would happen if you suddenly became unable to provide the service for any reason before contracts are over?

A. I would refund the BTC amount remaining on a monthly calculation of how much is left, dividing 0.1 BTC by 12 and adding up the months remaining on contracts.

Q. What will be the address of the hosted node?

A. The IP of the server hosting the node will be attached to the main domain, such as <yourcoin>.node-hosting.online

If anyone would like a node hosting with us, drop me a line or reply here! If you would like a node hosting, i will generate an address to receive payments in BTC for that particular coin node, which will be published in the list of nodes that are online. This is for transparency, showing on the blockchain the dates payment was received and the amount. If you include an email address with this payment then you will be notified via email when your node is coming up for renewal.
20  Economy / Speculation / Cashing out.... on: January 24, 2017, 03:06:20 AM
Kinda feel the price will drop quite a bit, will probably cash out and buy back in after the dust has settled... The chinese  exchange fees look like its going to be a bubble popping but just my opinion... But why the insane mempool size?
