1  Economy / Services / Offering my services as a web developer on: September 06, 2013, 02:11:26 PM
Sorry if this is a double post. I checked and it wasn't up. Must've been an error. If it is a duplicate, I'll try to remove one.

Anyway, I'm willing to offer this service to whomever needs it. I'm taking the "Name Your Price" route, so you get to choose. Payments are milestone-based and agreed upon beforehand. I will go first for each milestone. I have decided instead to do this service for free. I lost most of my work to a hard drive failure and need to build it up again, so it would be weird to ask for money for that.

I am proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, and PHP
2  Economy / Services / Will slice a PSD into HTML for free on: September 03, 2012, 02:10:09 PM
I already know quite a bit about this, but feel I need to get better. I also think I would be wasting my time if I'm not helping someone at the same time. As a result, I will, for free, slice your PSD documents into an HTML page. I can only take one at a time, though.

EDIT: I am currently slicing one. I will remove this edit when I finish.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Negative Bitcoins? on: July 29, 2012, 08:18:31 PM
Just withdrew my winnings from Dragon's Tale. My wallet now shows a negative balance of exactly what I withdrew. I looked at the blockchain and it seems all of it was sent back in little chunks. I tried logging into Dragon's Tale to tell the game's admin, but was greeted with an error stating I was already logged in. Can I get any help with this? I'd be willing to talk through PM with someone who works with the game if I need to.

On a related note, I have noticed two posts from my account on the game's thread. I did not make either post. I have changed my password since, but I would like those posts removed, as I cannot seem to do so.

It should be noted that I am merely wondering what happened. I am not blaming anyone and I do not consider the game or its admins at fault. I thought I should say this because it seems to be assumed every time I encounter a bug in something.
4  Economy / Services / [WTS] Website designer for hire on: June 29, 2012, 03:47:27 PM
The price is negotiable as every website is different. In addition to HTML, I can do Javascript and PHP. Bitcoin is preferred as payment. I do NOT take Paypal for obvious reasons. Due to the nature of Bitcoins and my mild Autism causing panics when I owe someone something, I do NOT accept being paid in advance, nor will I ever explicitly ask for such.

I do not design adult websites or any websites that would be illegal in the United States. Any such offers will be refused.

In addition to Bitcoin I also accept:
Second Life Linden Dollars (L$ valued at time of offer)
Spiral Knights Crystal Energy (750 CE = $2.50 USD)
EVE Online Time Card (1 60-day ETC = $34 USD)
Team Fortress 2 Metal (1 Refined = 3 Reclaimed = 9 Scrap = $0.50 USD)
Project Entropia Dollars (1 PED = $0.10 USD)

I reserve the right to refuse to make a site before an agreement is reached. I have a real life and can only make so much at a time, especially with college.

8  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Spiral Knights Crystal Energy (0.3 BTC / 500ce) on: May 11, 2012, 12:41:19 AM
CE = Crystal Energy

Anyone here play Spiral Knights? I'm selling up to 2000 CE at a rate of 0.3 BTC for 500 CE. You'll receive your CE through he ingame mail. I will go first. If all goes well, you will be considered for future deals. I already have the CE on hand, so once we reach an agreement, you will receive your CE within 1 hour. Remember to PM the name of the knight who will be receiving the CE.

I will send the CE ingame and PM a QR on the forum.
9  Economy / Speculation / Will there ever be a way to put orphaned coins in the reward for mining? on: April 19, 2012, 03:14:58 PM
Orphaned coins lower the amount left. That can add up, since it never goes down. Because of this, it will at some point reach 21 million. The key is to somehow put all of these coins in the reward without the used ones going as well. Is there any way to do so?
10  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] Best Buy $50 card for 10 BTC [corrected] on: April 17, 2012, 07:50:38 PM
Got this card and don't plan to use it, so I'm selling it.

The code is for 247.5 10 BTC unless you want the physical card. Then it's 249 12.

I don't care who goes first as long as the deal goes well. You may add your own terms if you feel uncomfortable with the current ones.

Also, you may ask how you want your code.

EDIT: I did my math wrong and corrected it to adhere to the laws of reality.
11  Economy / Currency exchange / [In Progress] BTC through mail (will go first) on: April 16, 2012, 07:47:47 PM
Here's the deal. I need BTC and have the cash (in USD) to buy them. I only have a small amount, but I am willing to buy maybe 5 BTC. Because I know none of you will agree to this otherwise (and why would you?) I am willing to go first.

EDIT: Sent a PM. Will mail it when I hear the total amount.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Should I start a store accepting only BTC? on: April 11, 2012, 11:44:48 PM
My main idea is I would start slowly with a little site for miscellaneous items one might want. I have no way of figuring out what transaction came from which person on which item, so I would need to do everything manually and have the person contact me ahead of time. Is this a good idea? I could maybe do some face-to-face transactions using a QR code printed on a card, which I can easily make. Is there any advice that would be helpful?
