Hi all, Now I know a one of the members of my Dev team already posted this one the other forum but since then he got banned and no reason was given. Anyway, this coin has been out only a few weeks now but is already heading towards the 20,000 block mark, which is where the block reward drops from 10,000 BRC to 5,000. As soon as I found this forum, I wanted to give everyone here a chance to mine a few of them 10,000 blocks before it halves. It is already the top 12 voted coin on HitBTC so it will be good to see how it performs on there, combined with my Twitter campaign a few of us are doing, it is a serious test to see if a coin can be successful just on the name alone and not based purely on innovation, like Primecoin or a marketing machine like Dogecoin. The website is basic as the fanbase of Bieber is varied and so I want to keep things as simple as possible which is why we are currently working on a Getting started You Tube video. Here are the basic details: Website : http://www.biebercoin.net (Forum link on the website) Twitter : https://twitter.com/BiebercoinBRCCurrent Global Network hash at the time of this post is : "networkhashps" : 21950060 It has been proven that there is no interest in this coin, to just dump the coins as soon as it hits an exchange, which is not a great long term profit tactic or they might be planning to slowly rise the price of this coin. And least of all, it only takes one tweet from Bieber himself about the coin, negative or positive and it will trend like no other. Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #56Ph04mA76xsdMGI

As many of your know that I was involved in the ScryptASIC.org website, I whoever did not run their operating but what I did in fact find that Crypto-Stocks was wide open to attack of which could have been a major one.
In the real world, nobody can just start issuing out shares to a company that is not registered and definitely not with just a 1 Bitcoin payment and an email address.
I started out in the IT work as a user side penetration tester, and Crypto-Stocks at that time failed on pretty much every single way; their T and C were just a blank "we take no responsibility" which you cannot do if you are acting as a third party.
Since then Crypto-Stocks have improve their security to an almost acceptable level but it is their responsibility to ensure that users who have lost money, be kept informed and keep records.
As it turns out, back then they kept no records of who owned which shares, how many and from who, so I had no way of compensating individuals back, of which I would do and was trying to do but Crypto-Stocks stopped replying to my emails.
Even the Police told me that it is down to the owners of Crypto-Stocks to pay back any money lost due to negligence, of which their website was riddled with it.
At this point there is nothing I can do at the moment, as I honestly do not know who bought shares and who did not, Crypto-Stocks will just not tell me and that is probably due to the fact they don't have the records.
Every company I test, always pays out to any party that has lost out due to the testing procedure, Crypto-Stocks at the time seemed to just pass the buck and leave it all to me, with no records of anything.
In order to try and build some bridges here, I am going to try and work out some way to pay back to the community and hope that one day I can build some form of trust.
Thank you all for reading. Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #YpTgT9B0pwshZmRX

Hi all, Before I start will the details of this coin I just wanted to clear a few things up first, so to reduce confusion and things like that. I didn't create Bitcoin Scrypt, that was Omega6, who asked me if I would join the development team so he could concentrate on the marketing side, last I heard from him, he was emailing me from China!! Important (Please read)Running this client will add its blockchain data AND wallet.dat to your Bitcoin SHA appdata folder. It has been reported by many people that this does not effect the original Bitcoin client at all but in actual fact works in tandem with it. I have tried it and it does work but please don't take unnecessary risks with your coins. When you run Bitcoin SHA, the Bitcoin Scrypt transactions show as unconfirmed, the same thing happens the other way around but please back up your original Bitcoin wallet.dat, like everyone should be doing anyway just to be on the safe side. Coin DetailsThis coin started off with the same specifications as the original Bitcoin SHA did but the difficulty algorithm got modified to speed up block generation. This created a hard fork which means at the moment the client will not download the block chain from scratch and the fix for this will be in the next client update. All the main details of this coin are on the official website http://bitcoinscrypt.orgI don't want to post all the coin details here including its explanation as I know that this coin is already on thin ice being allowed one here and I don't want to ruin that. All I will say to finish off this post is that for the past few months, Bitcoin Scrypt has been hovering around the 3rd to 4th most mined Scrypt based Crypto and continues to do so, with a steady following on its main mining pool. This coin is not an attack on the original Bitcoin, if it was, then I am sure Omega6 would have just released another Bitcoin SHA based coin. This is just a different way of mining it, with the hope that it helps to keep Bitcoin Scrypt more centralised than Bitcoin SHA currently is. Thank you for your time in reading this.

Hi all,
I have noticed over the past few weeks that I now have two open scammer theads with my name in the title.
The first one about BBQcoin was made by a user with a post count of 2 and the other thread started by a user with a trust rating of -7.
Now I have been on this forum since July 2012 and was involved in Crypto-Currency's long before that and I have not scammed anyone, at all.
The BBQcoin scammer thread made by the OP with a post count of 2 doesn't even know what he is talking about as he does not even know the facts, I have not a clue why he though that his second post on this forum should be a scammer thread and I thought users were stuck in the newbie zone until 10 posts anyway.
That issue is between myself and Bigduab which is being sorted. Just because a website does not redirect how on earth does that mean I am a scammer.
The second issue is more realistic and I can understand where users have thought I might be scamming as I do run the scryptasic.org website and I do this for the company behind it has they only work 5 minutes down the road from me but I am not directly involved in their company or hardware development.
I am taking a risk by doing this and I know that, as this company might not produce the goods and the fact that they are listed on Cryptostocks but this does not make me a scammer.
I have not scammed anyone out of any money or anything what so ever and there is no proof that I have, due to the fact that I honestly haven't.
I am working hard with Extremecoin which has a lot of supporters and miners and I don't want random scammer threads to effect a coin that they have all invested time and money into.
Please, in future, if you are thinking about posting in a scammer thread or starting one about me, PM me first about the issue, its just common decency.
Thanks

Hi all, The voting has been completed and I have now released the Windows QT and source code for the name change that the community asked for. All your old coins are safe, they are just now called Communitycoin (CTC) ImportantBefore you run the new CTC client or replace your current Crimecoin client download this current blockchain, complete with conf and then run the client, move this folder into your roaming appdata, overwriting or deleting the current one. Blockchain Download : https://www.dropbox.com/s/bkswepuou0ctx4s/Communitycoin%20Blockchain.zipThen if you have had Crimecoin installed before, move that wallet.dat into this new Communitycoin folder, so your coins can move across to the newly named client. If you do this correctly, the client will run fine and on the same blockchain, if you don't it will flag up an error. This will also enable users that have never run Crimecoin before be able to use Communitycoin. This is a workaround to keep the Crimecoin blockchain running and all your coins safe. Hi,
This might seem strange that the developer of Extremecoin wants to buy some of the coin he released but like I said at the start, I don't believe in having a pre-mine on any of my released coins.
Right now I cannot mine them, do to my rigs doing something else so I would like to buy some.
I am willing to spend 1 BTC.
The highest offer gets the trade, which will be done on this thread and the Extremecoins will be sent first, on confirmation I have received them, I will send the 1 BTC.
If I don't believe and have faith in my own coin, how can I expect others too.
Thanks

I released this coin as a test Crypto only at the start but a few members of the community said they liked it and would like the test heading removed and for the coin to continue.
Today I had a PM from a user saying that this coin could be harmful for the community and that it should be killed, as it could be used for crime and give the community a bad name.
My logic is that what type of criminal would use Crimecoin for any kind of criminal activity? Would that not be just plain stupid or in a reverse reverse physiology way, a very clever thing to do?
Anyway, this poll is for 7 days, after that, whatever the poll reveals is what will happen with Crimecoin and it will be with immediate effect.
I always let the community choose the path of any coin I develop, fork or clone.
Many thanks

Hi everyone, I am pleased to announce Crimecoin - The Coin developed to be Crime and Black Market Resistant. The aim of this project is to address the current major issue with Crypto-Currencies for their increasing use for illegal activities. You might now be thinking how would this work and is the name of this coin counter productive towards the projects aim but sometimes the more simple the solution, the higher the chances of it working. This is just my opinion but I do not believe that many users would actually use a dedicated "Anon" Crypto-Currency as that is going to be the first in a list of digital currencies global authorities will be monitoring, just like what has been happening with the Tor network. What makes things even more interesting is that the Tor network is being indirectly "promoted" by many third parties as a secure and anonymous "darknet" which I believe is not the case but in fact the Tor network is monitored actively by governments probably using the Terrorist Act to get around any red tape. I wonder why the .i2p network hardly gains any official publicly, even though it is very effective at keeping your anonymity providing you configure everything correctly and use a secure browsing policy; I imagine is is partly down to the fact that .i2p does have a steeper learning curve than Tor which is available nicely packaged with Firefox (Where are the Action Lawsuits?) but is also given a bad reputation for a long list of issues even though many of these people are heavy .i2p users and as I have used .i2p many times to see how the project is progressing, I can say that it is although not perfect (Nothing is) it is far from deserving the reputation is has in certain community groups. With the above in mind is seems that with Reverse Psychology and a small amount of targeted marketing, a Crypto-Currency can be less likely to be used for illegal activities but can also use a basic Wallet Client with no extra "Anonymous" functionality but only some custom in client icons that any user trying to use it for illegal activities would not want anyone else to see. No "Panic" boss button to be found here :-) Official Website : http://www.crimecoin.org Github Source Code : https://github.com/CaptChadd/Crimecoin_Master/tree/master/Crimecoin-Master%20V1.2Coin SpecificationsScrypt Algorithm. 25 Coins a block. 5 Minute Blocks 100 Million Total Coins Windows QT Version 1.2 : https://sourceforge.net/projects/crimecoin/crimecoin.conf rpcuser=user rpcpassword=password rpcport=22700 listen=1 server=1 addnode=5.1.83.119 Services : TBA

As I am based in the UK I have contacted them as asked if can go for a visit and maybe take at least a photo of one working and the outside of the case. That's if they even give me their address.
I am so tempted to spend even just a small amount of BTC's of this site, even more so if there claims of a SHA/Scrypt hybrid are true.

I was wondering if we might be able to come up with a small or in this case large list of coins that are pointless and offer nothing. And then another list of the coins that are worth mining at the moment.
I have ADHD and all these coins in sending me into a multiple mining frenzy lol.

The difference with what BFL are selling compared to regular products like games, car parts etc, is that the more of the product they ship, the less the stock they have is worth due to the difficulty rise of Bitcoin. This could be why now I am seeing on Ebay people already selling there 5GH/s miners in the hopes of making a small amount of profit, as mining will not make them break even anymore.
I believe that BFL will ship all of their 5GH's miners before any "major" movement of the larger miners, otherwise if they didn't they would be delivering 5GH/s miners that would be worthless do to the difficulty rise made by the larger miners they shipped at the same time.
I think once all the 5GH miners get shipped, then they with move onto the 25 GH/s miners mainly and work from there up, otherwise it makes no business sense.
Think this is the case?
