Hey guys,
I was thinking about how the world would change if it used BTC as reserve currency in the future.
- What would need to change for this to happen? - What would change once it actually is used for it? - What would be the benefits of this? - What would be the downside of this?
Lets hear some answers, then I will tell what I think will change. I don't want to bias this thread!

You guys fucked me over big time, convinving me that this was real. It was a fad all along. Ponzi scheme at its best!
Sold all at 550-510 levels. I am out. Done. Bye.

What is available that people have tried as far as funded Debit Cards for purchase with Bitcoin? Looking for something reasonably priced and trustworthy seller.

New alt coin creation seemed to increase very fast a while ago, we've definitely hit a plateau a ways back though. I can say that I don't bother with alt coins other than Litecoin right now.

Is that giveaway still ongoing in the Ripple giveaway thread? It show up in the unread posts area so I see that people are always still posting in it, but thought that it had ended some time ago. What is the last date that someone has received some?

Here's what I've observed from Casinobit.net:
25 confirmations required before investing usually never more than 6 is required often 1 or 2, no sound reasoning behind this. Withdrawals are being sent with 0 fees, may take a day or more to confirm, this is foolish. Withdrawal button itself doesn't work correctly. Site is very buggy, many times lucky just to get it to load. Investing option is poorly done and was being calculated wrong for some time.
Considering all of these problems together this is not a coincidence.

After reading the recent comparison by RangerK, I was interested in seeing what some of the other users thought about the BTC stock exchanges and which they preferred. Vote for your favorite and you can say why also if you want.

Is there an official thread for this site somewhere? I was unable to find it with search.

Thought I would make a thread to post your picks on Predictious here, if anyone else is aware of the site that is? I'll start 'Business:Business Exchanges:Mtgox not operating July 31,2013' I think this is very unlikely to occur.
Edit: Entertainment:Top Grossing Movie Q3 2013 This is a strange category because of some of the entries. Some of those movies stand a 1/million chance of winning at best.

I've seen what we have so far (bets of bitcoin, and bitbet), and these offer no where near the advantages and freedom of betting as a true prediction market like Intrade have. Is anyone working or thinking of working on something similar?

BTC-e accounts are getting hacked and/or the exchange operators themselves are stealing users coins. This may be part of the reason for Bitcoin sell-off as the hackers would sell their coins. It's impossible to determine exactly how many coins may have been stolen or how many accounts hacked at this time since BTC-e has not come out with any information.

Just a poll to see what the users here think. Mt-gox is claiming hundreds of thousand of new accounts recently, rather hard to believe with the current market.
