1  Economy / Goods / House with tenant, 10 miles from Manhattan, available for serious inquiries only on: October 29, 2014, 08:06:35 PM
If you are an early bitcoin adopter and are ready to convert to real estate currently generating over 3% annually after property taxes, then consider sending me an inquiry about the house I own in New Jersey (10 miles west of Manhattan), that currently has a tenant with a lease.  I'm interested in a BTC for real property swap based on Zillow's Zestimate valuation.  Oh, did I mention that Zillow's Zestimate on this property ($478G) has been zooming because NJ is coming out of a severe housing crunch?

Serious inquiries only, please. Please respect the rights of privacy of the tenant.  Direct all inquiries to me.  Thank you.

2  Other / Politics & Society / Is the Department of Homeland Security declaring war on bitcoin? on: May 16, 2013, 04:20:24 AM
The Department of Homeland Security obtained a Court order yesterday which allows them to seize the assets of a Dwolla account linked to Mt. Gox.  The affidavit submitted in support of the application for this Court order asserts that Mark Karpeles lied on his company's application for an account with Wells Fargo, and declared that he was not dealing in the exchange of money.  For a discussion of the impact of this event on the bitcoin community check out my blog post at http://swappermall.com.  If anyone hears of an official response by Mt. Gox (not the pitiful "I heard it on the internet" response) to this event or the CoinLab lawsuit, post a comment on my blog!
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinbase withdrawal delayed for more than 48 hours on: March 22, 2013, 09:15:45 PM
I attempted to withdraw 100 BTC from my account with coinbase.com last Wednesday at 2:44 pm MST.  More than 48 hours have elapsed since then.

This is the text of an email I got yesterday after my first email inquiry:

Fred Ehrsam replied:
Hi,

Sorry about that! We were doing performance improvements that caused some temporary delays (posted in the status updates section here: http://j.mp/YpBYhQ), and we are still working to regenerate some transactions that went unverified. You can expect a resolution in the next 24 hours if not sooner should your transaction still show "pending" or your balance not refreshing. Again, sorry for any undue stress caused!
Regards,
Fred

Who else is experiencing these delays?  I'm not happy about this at all.  My second email about 5 hours ago remains ignored.
