A service I use is offering a discount for renewals with Bitcoin. I need around $110 in Bitcoin. I have an Amazon balance I would like to trade for the BTC. I have Prime for about 4 years now, so you would get free 2 day shipping with the order (US Only). I haven't been on the forums much but am a trusted seller/trader. No hassles, quick order. If you have less positive feedback then I, you have to send the Bitcoin first. You can also check out my rep on the WOT (not sure if anyone still uses it) https://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=Rawted&sign=ANY&type=RECVedit: I would use coinbase, but the service's discount for BTC will be long over by the time it clears.

I have no use for the space with my IRC web of trust rating link anymore, and I thought I could make better use out of that area. I would like to offer up space in my signature, for free, for any company involved with the betterment of cryptocurrencies or humanity in general. You will most likely need to be a NFP, and must currently be active in the community in some capacity.
Post here or PM with any questions.

It is not me.
I've been made aware of someone trying to use my name on Skype and other places, trying to get people to send money to China. I am not on Skype, have never been on Skype, nor will I ever be on Skype doing BTC deals. This forum and IRC (which I haven't logged on to in ~6 months) are the only places I do Bitcoin business. If you're outside the site, and someone named Rawted is trying to get you to do business, it is not me, and the best course of action is to PM me here for confirmation.
Thanks.

http://www.wired.com/2015/01/dhs-believed-mt-gox-ceo-might-silk-roads-secret-mastermind/In response to cross-examination by the defense in Ulbricht’s trial today, DHS special agent Jared Deryeghiayan revealed that in 2012 and 2013 he had pursued Karpeles as the suspected owner and operator of the Silk Road. He has also pursued Karpeles’ Mt. Gox associate Ashley Barr as the voice of the Dread Pirate Roberts, the Silk Road’s pseudonymous figurehead. Deryeghiayan confirmed he had even gone so far as to seek a warrant to search Karpeles’ Gmail account based on “probable cause” that the Mt. Gox owner had secretly administered the Silk Road in a bid to boost the price of bitcoin, and with it his own substantial cryptocurrency fortune.
In an August 2013 affidavit written by Deryeghiayan and read aloud by Ulbricht’s defense attorney Joshua Dratel, the agent cited evidence that included Karpeles’ purported control of the website silkroadmarket.org, information received from a federal informant working with Karpeles, and Karpeles’ profile as a programmer and bitcoin mogul. “I believe this evidence shows Karpeles controlled silkroadmarket.org and the tuxtele.com website and hosted them both at IP addresses he controlled,” Deryeghiayan wrote in 2013. In his affidavit, he went on to cite Karpeles’ Linkedin page, and to argue that Tokyo-based Karpeles was “well suited to [create] an e-commerce website such as the Silk Road underground website.”
In the same affidavit, Deryeghiayan also cited an interview I conducted with the Dread Pirate Roberts in July of 2013. “That sounds very much like Karpeles,” Deryeghiayan wrote. Interesting...

Not really a big shock for anyone who has followed/been invested in the BFL scheme. We all knew that BFL was taking customer's money and using the purchased ASICs to mine on Zerlan's Eclipse pool. However, it is nice to finally see it substantiated. I wish nothing but the worst for these scam artists, and especially that blow-hard Josh Zerlan. http://www.coindesk.com/ftc-butterfly-labs-held-back-shipments-illicit-mining/The FTC alleges that Butterfly Labs was slow to complete the product of its mining units, and that when it did so, it conducted a process known informally as ‘burning in’ wherein equipment was tested and the bitcoins mined as a result were kept for company gain. One former employee, the FTC said, suggested Butterfly Labs would conduct this process with 500 mining machines operating in three separate ‘burn-in rooms’, meaning as many as 1,500 were in operation in total. Another said that such testing went on for two days – a process that should have taken only 10–30 minutes. Statements from at least one employee suggest that Butterfly Labs knowingly conducted this process to boost its bottom line. The document reads: “One employee inquired with company management as to why they chose to test by mining rather than using the test-net, and was told that the company would not make any money using a test-net.” The FTC claims that no Butterfly Labs customer ever received products on the shipping date originally advertised. In addition, despite the company’s claims that it provided a “full product shipment or refund” to customers who ordered between 9th August and 9th November 2013, Butterfly Labs has not provided supporting evidence to this claim.

Will we ever see automatically pushed updates? And if so, how long until that happens? I was curious as I just noticed another new version is out and was recalling the fork issues and other problems with past versions. This seems to be a needed feature, unless there are reasons it hasn't already been implemented.

I bought this as an upgrade to my phone on my cell plan last month. It proved just a tad too big for my daily use, being as I already use a tablet as well. I bought the s5, and am now looking to sell my Mega. It's the 6.3" edition, with android 4.4.2, and in like new quality. I have installed one of those high end glass screen protectors on it, and it currently resides in the Ballistic case linked below. It comes with the original manual, charging cable, and wall plug. I am fine with escrow, but being as I have a flawless rep here and on OTC/WOT, it is not necessary. If you do choose escrow, I choose the escrow agent. It will be a trusted admin here or on #bitcoin-otc on IRC (I am also ok with using DannyHamilton here - he has been fantastic). View my ratings on the WOT in my signature below. I also have a few feedback threads floating around these forums somewhere. Asking $375 in BTC for it. I will ship it anywhere in the continental US via USPS Priority Mail at no charge to you. If you live outside the continental US, you will pay for shipping via your preferred method, but it must include some form of delivery confirmation or signature service. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SGH-I527ZKBATThttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JCLBSQS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Spec Highlights3G/4G LTE connectivity Android 4.4.2 operating system 1.7 GHz dual-core processor 6.3-inch Super Clear LCD touchscreen (HD 720p) 8-MP rear camera (with Full HD 1080p video) Front 1.9-MP camera 16 GB storage + 1.5 GB of RAM MicroSD expansion up to 64 GB (optional cards) Wireless-N Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 + NFC Up to 18 hours of usage time Stock picture:

In case you hadn't heard, or wanted the news from someone with a more trusted history here. VMC/AMC is a complete scam. Ken Slaughter is a thief (as said so by his own family - who are supposedly employees - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=459861.msg5808232#msg5808232). He has taken thousands in BTC in the ~100 range, and never delivered a single product or service. He lied about using the funding to land a deal with eASIC, promising for months that the chips were next in line. Instead he recently slipped up and said they're still shopping vendors. He doesn't respond to emails, refund requests, or any other business communication, but deletes posts within minutes of them being posted. A complete piece of shit all around. p.s. - Expect an influx of new accounts to bombard this thread and state what a wonderful gentle soul Ken Slaughter is. I will bump this thread everyday. Surely it can't be good for such a prolific venture like VMC/AMC. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=459861.msg5808232#msg5808232A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by the starter of a self-moderated topic. Several thousand BTC collected (and not spent on eASIC like previously stated) and a few months shy of a year, all for $10k of mining equipment. Release the doves, let the paupers rejoice! If anyone from the company is monitoring this I'd like to get an order in, so please respond to my email or voicemail. thanks. Quoting for visibility. Ken, fix the contact info on the website and the cs@virtualminingcorp.com address. You have people wanting to give you money that can't, and pissed off pre-order customers. I will be fixing that next week. Make sure to get that order processed for finlof soon, not next week. Due to our system using MtGox prestashop pluggin, we are not processing BTC at the moment. LMAO. Complete technical ineptitude.

I am more concerned with an unknown web dev firm, who doesn't even have their own website, getting the contract. It's obvious there's some favoritism going on once again. You can't even find a single project they have completed, and they get the forum's coins for the project? You say you want to move towards something other than VB,SMF,etc then hire a complete novice to code it. It's really quite amazing.
Be honest, who are these people to you? How do you know them?

I have 3 2 1 PSUs available, in excellent condition. 1x Corsair CX750M, 1 x Corsair CX500M. Shipped within the US only please. PM me with offers.

I bought these recently to help a few small 'mom and pop' places get interested in mining, but the USB ones proved far easier for them to grasp. As such, I need to sell these. I have 3 in like new condition with boxes, and 3 Corsair PSUs (2xCX750,CX500). Would prefer to sell it all as a lot to someone in the US. Total weight is roughly 30 pounds.

Hey gang, lots of these on ebay, but would prefer to spend within the community if possible. I am looking for a 'lot' of either Latitude D620s or Panasonic CF-29s. Would be interested in buying 25-50 of them, depending on condition and proximity. They need to be cosmetically and structurally sound with all original hardware intact. They don't need to have a valid windows license on them. PM me with any offers.

Looking for some more antminer U1s to give out and help spread the word. PM or post here with your price. US shipped. If you have less trust and rating on WOT than I do, you will have to send first or pay escrow fees. If you have more than I do, I will pay escrow fees.

I have a few domains for projects I just wont have time for that I am willing to entertain offers on. Feel free to toss out respectable offers or PM me directly. Would accept BTC, LTC, or perhaps interesting trades (ASICs, precious metals, etc).
domains available:
BitcoinWatchdog.com DecentralizedFunds.com FiatTrade.com BTCMarket.in CryptoMentor.com CryptoTutor.com CryptoHeads.com (this one has an install of vanilla with 2fa on it all setup and ready to go. was originally planning on making this an alternative style cryptocurrency social discussion board. You can have it with or without the files)

Just noticed Newegg is offering package combos built specifically for cryptocurrency mining at the top of their supercombos page - http://www.newegg.com/DIY-PC-Combos/PromotionStore/ID-33 . This is excellent news for all of us home miners. Until newegg starts accepting Bitcoin payments, you can use https://www.joinsnapcard.com/ to pay quickly with BTC I am in no way affiliated with either company, but have used both extensively.
