Bitcoin experiences the biggest 1 hr volume in BTC historyYesterday, the bitcoin price registered a huge gain of $1,000 in just an hour. From $6,800, the prices got up to $7,800 for the first time in about two weeks. The crypto enthusiasts are surely elated, hoping that this might signal the bullish trend in the crypto market. Not just bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies including Ethereum, Ripple, Dash, and Litecoin also gained in double digits. Coming onto what caused this rise, experts believe there are several factors driving this rally. For quite a long time, bitcoin has been experiencing a cold weather. Bitcoin has always been volatile, since its inception in 2009, the crypto has gone through extensive up and downs. After hitting its all-time high at $20,000 in December, last year, bitcoin has been continuously sliding. Having said that, the sudden price rise of more than $1,000 in less than 24 hours has been unprecedented. However, even after the rise bitcoin price is 60 percent lower from its peak and a good 44 percent lower than at the beginning of the year. The surge was driven by the biggest one-hour trade volume in the history of bitcoin. This points out the fact that the rise has been due to speculative positioning. Experts believe the surge has been the result of institutional investors with huge funds in their pockets. According to a senior market analyst, Mati Greenspan, this is what has happened and will continue to happen. Read more: https://coingape.com/reason-behind-bitcoin-price-surge/

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are Drying ETH Mining Profits Reason For ETH Price Drop?
|
on: April 10, 2018, 07:26:35 PM
|
With the ETH price currently riding at $396 right now, it’s a great loss from the January prices that went up to $1,390. One of the integral factors for this drop in ETH value is the mining as there has been a huge influx of miners that have increased the difficulty while decreasing the profitability from mining an ETH. ETH price lost about 70% of its value since JanuaryIt’s been only 3 years since Ethereum’s inception into the cryptocurrency market. ETH was only $1.6 in 2015 that reached about $12 in the mid of 2016. In April 2017, it’s price was only $50 that reached approximately $380 in mid-June. During the month of November 2017, there has been a dip in ETH prices but it didn’t fall below the $280 level. The ethereum prices went through a great period at the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 with its prices reaching to $800 in December and a whopping $1,390 in mid-January. However, ETH price is down to $396 level right now. Since January, ethereum has lost about close to 1,000 US Dollars and taken a dip of 70 percent. Other / Beginners & Help / Available writer/advertiser/reviewing for BTC & seeking advice for sig. campaign
|
on: May 07, 2016, 06:09:06 AM

Hello,
To start things off, clearly I am a 'newbie' on here (despite my registration date being of 3~ years) I was the 'lurker' rather then being the 'post-happy' type of character. It wasn't until recently that I had stumbled upon the availability of earning btc via posting on this forum (aka, signature campaigns). I have a few questions regarding this topic, before changing the subject. The following questions I will list below have been searched multiple times (as I do realize most members tell people to use the implemented 'search' button before opening topics w/ questions regarding highly discussed topics) - however, I have been unable to resolve my questions via the search function, so, I am going to seek advice from someone with moderate to extensive knowledge in this 'field' of micro-earnings.
I will try to keep myself from blabbing on, as I tend to be the lengthy-talkative type of fella, so, bare with me here.
1) First and foremost, I am curious, my posts are at about 31-32, with an activity level of 29, how would I go about reaching the next member-rank? Do I simply have to post more frequently? Or must I post daily, for x amount of days, before these activity points increase, therefore increasing my rank +1?
2) Are there any sort of campaigns that are proven to be 100% legitimate, and available to members with my current account-summary/status (E.g. my rank/activity points/post quality, etc..)? If so, which would be the most rewarding/recommended?
3) After deciding/joining a campaign, am I limited to 1-campaign-per-account? Or am I able to do more then one signature/other campaign at once? Also, is it only signature campaigns in which people profit from? Or are there avatar-campaigns?
Now, in regards to my title:
4) Are there any known, legitimate (casinos, for example, but not limited to strictly casinos, I'm all ears!), sort of services available that one could recommend to me for my ability to provide extensively detailed, and very appealing reviews/write-ups/advertising? I can provide many references, of previous experience, in which I am sure would attract those seeking someone for such a service.
Thanks, I hope I haven't upset anybody by posting in this section, if so, cut a fella some slack:)

Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] 4 x $625 Moneypak for BTC for 15% Fee's! Serious inquiries only!
|
on: April 24, 2013, 09:13:35 PM
|
I currently have 4 x $625 Moneypaks, and as a Canadian citizen, I'm completely unable to use these. I need bitcoins for them!
I will give you 15% on each for fee's, and I will only deal with trusted members! I may be a noob here, but I'm not stupid! So scammers, please don't bother. I have a moderator who is going to advise me on who NOT to deal with anyhow, and to give me advise throughout the process.
I will prefer an escrow system, and EXTREMELY TRUSTED MEMBERS.
Total amount of moneypaks is $2500 USD @ 15% fee's you will make $375 USD Total, or $93.75 each Moneypak.
I want to do it 1 by 1, all the way through. You don't have to buy 4 of them in order to trade with me!
Thanks:)
PS - We can use current exchange rate of your choice! (e.g. - mtgox, btc-e....etc..)
These moneypaks were purchased YESTERDAY and they obviously come with all required information: 1) The code (obviously) 2) The state of Origin in which they were purchased (All the same..) ^^ Thats all you need folks.

Other / Beginners & Help / Newb Here! Need info about mining! I'm very interested!
|
on: April 24, 2013, 08:29:08 PM

I know this information is probably everyone in the forum, but I really can't track it all down. Any tips, advice, etc, would be GREATLY appreciated!
Here are a few questions I have:
--Before hand, in any examples, I'm going to say that I can produce approx 2000 mh/s--
1) If I am only able to produce a hash rate of 2000 mh/s, would mining BTC via Pool be more profitable? Or would mining alt coins be more profitable? If so, will it be profitable by much? Which alt coin would you recommend? Solo or Pool?
2) Is 2000 kh/s considered in terms of mining BTC 2 gh/s? Does 1000 mh/s = 1000 kh/s = 1 gh/s?
3) Which would be a good / decent hash rate to obtain to profit around $1000/month mining ANY coin (and please tell me which coin!)
4) How much $ would this set-up (on average) cost --referring to #3 above--
5) Should I just hold off and try my luck in attempting to purchase an ASIC from BFL? (I know it'd take months to get here, I was thinking on still making an order, and buying some GPUs in the mean time)
6) More hash rate = GPU correct?
7) What is the maximum amount of GPUs I could have set up to 1 PC?
