1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Circcash [unofficial :: unmoderated] on: November 17, 2020, 08:48:01 PM
Purpose of this thread is to announce Circcash cryptocurrency to the public and to allow uncensored discussion about Circcash related topics.
This is unofficial thread and will remain un-moderated.

UPDATE (Nov 21):
Here is an official Circcash announcement:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5292018.0;all

What is Circcash?

Circcash is a fork of Bitcoin using Hashspin as a proof-of-work algorithm. Hashspin is designed to accelerate the development of reversible computing hardware.
Hashspin is the only cryptocurrency mining algorithm that is designed to solve an extremely important scientific problem.

  • 2.0 minute block targets
  • 10 CIRCs per block
  • No subsidy halving
  • Supply increases linearly (to better advance science)
  • Mining reward remains constant
  • 2016 blocks to retarget difficulty
  • 12.5% of newly mined coins will be sent to a development fund. The development fund will be cut off after the following two conditions are BOTH met:
    1. The cryptocurrency has been out for four years, and
    2. The total number of 'hashes' computed for mining exceeds a threshold.
  • Forked from Litecoin v0.8.7.5

The Circcash development team may cut off the 12.5% funding early.

The rest is the same as Bitcoin/Litecoin.

. . .

Note the whitepaper still uses the old name "Zammazazzer". The name of the cryptocurrency has been updated from Zammazazzer to Circcash.

Quote from: whitepaper
The proposed cryptocurrency Zammazazzer is designed to incentivize
the development of the reversible computer. Reversible computers will
eventually outperform and replace conventional computers everywhere. By
Landauer’s principle, reversible computers will eventually become many times
more energy efficient than the possible the maximum possible efficiency of an
irreversible computer. Since reversible computers will do calculations without
producing the immense amount of heat required by conventional computers,
reversible computers can potentially run many times faster than conventional
computers with much denser parallelism. However, while reversible computers
will eventually replace conventional computers, these energy efficient reversible
computers do not exist in the free market, and hardware manufacturers are
unwilling to make reversible computers in part due to the computational overhead
incurred from using reversible algorithms instead of conventional algorithms.
The proof-of-work problem for Zammazazzer is designed to incentivize the
initial development of the energy efficient reversible computer, and the
Zammazazzer Foundation, supported through cryptocurrency coins, shall fund
the research, development, and standardization of cryptographic algorithms
suitable for reversible computers through the use of smart contracts.

[...]

Each coin shall be called a CIRC which stands for Certificate of Innovation in Reversible Computation.

2  Economy / Speculation / The Rogue Wave on: June 24, 2019, 03:16:53 PM
A post in the subject:

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@anonymint/ptlyfl

The post is a follow up on the discussion about increasing volatility and a collapse of the Bitcoin (Core),
comments about x100 leverages and calm before the storm (charts included).

I now posit that cryptocosm will appear to be nearly dead from 2024.35 – 2028.65.

Following up the discussion above and in further support of this conceptualization of increasing volatility and collapse for the fake Core BitcOn (which everyone thinks is Bitcoin) whilst the legacy, real, immutable, Satoshi “v0.1” Bitcoin will continue rising but most people having been fooled and thought Bitcoin had died as the price and the Bitcoin forgery named Bitcoin Core craters to ~$775, it appears that crypto is being intentionally pumped up now for a big crash (perhaps May 2020 at the halving) so that public confidence can be directed towards Facebook’s 666 Libra as the 2020.05 – 2024.35 private wave gives way to the 2024.35 – 2028.65 public wave before the final phase transition moonshot private wave peak in 2032.95

3  Economy / Speculation / Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia on: June 24, 2019, 01:22:10 PM

The author argues that Libra is a 666 plan.

4  Economy / Speculation / Banned dude projects Bitcoin bounce maybe to $10k, then renewed decline to $4600 on: August 18, 2018, 12:15:20 PM

He also seems to think many or most altcoins might possibly decline to near 0 in 2019.

Any thoughts? (not about him but the logic and data for the projections)

Shelby made some edits to clarify his speculations and analyses:

Previous thread which is now locked:

However, every post from @anunymint apparently was deleted. The thread is now very difficult to understand because a significant portion of the discussion is missing.

Some of that thread was archived here and here.

ICO-issued Tokens Will Collapse?
[...]
Both prior paragraphs, project that Bitcoin will become nearly 100% of the total crypto market capitalization again!
[...]
The ICO illegal securities mania probably has everyone thinking that’s the new normal.
The altcoins are extremely overvalued with 99% of them being complete nonsense and scammy money grabs.
There’s going to be a reversion to the reality starting very soon.

Note that he (@anonymint) advised to buy LTC at $7 because he predicted it would move to $100+.

And bitcoin at $700:
Any one buying precious metals right now and not Bitcoin @$700 is an idiot.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are Most Cryptocurrencies Doomed to Collapse — because they’re “ICO-issued”? on: September 03, 2017, 07:56:15 AM

Is he correct in his analysis?
