1  Economy / Gambling discussion / When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 28, 2024, 06:13:31 AM
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 01, 2024, 10:35:02 AM
Just recently reported that Pacman announce his fight with Mayweather this year.

For the information of everyone, this is just an exhibition fight, and I think it will be after his fight with Buakaw which will happen in April 2020.

I believe, this is the biggest exhibition match and could potentially break another PPV record.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao II is set to happen on a RIZIN card in 2024, according to Manny Pacquiao and RIZIN boss Nobuyuki Sakakibara.

The announcement was made on New Year’s Eve in Japan as Pacquiao attended as a special guest.

“Pac-Man” stated he had permission to confirm the fight when taking to the microphone.

3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which one is better, parlay or teaser bet? on: January 01, 2024, 09:27:37 AM
There has been discussions already about parlay and bet builder. So I was thinking maybe I'll also create one to know which one of these two sports bettors usually do, and which one is more profitable.

Maybe let's start with its definition as I believe there are still sports bettors here who have no idea about parlay and teaser.

What Is a Parlay Bet?
Quote
In sports betting, a parlay bet is made when a bettor makes two or more bets and combines them into one wager. Depending on the sportsbook or the region, these bets may be called “accumulators” or “multis.”

The gambler must win every small bet to win the parlay bet, and losing just one of the smaller bets loses the parlay. A sportsbook commonly provides larger payouts for adding more games to each parlay. Parlay bets are riskier since they comprise many individual chances but give a bigger payout if all individual wagers win.

What Is a Teaser Bet?
Quote
In sports betting, a teaser bet is a type of parlay bet. In a teaser bet, the bettor is allowed to change the point spread for a game, making the bet easier to win. In exchange, the sportsbook will lower the payout due to them if they win.

The most common teaser is a two-team, six-point football teaser. For this teaser bet type, the bettor can adjust point spreads for the two games but will realize a lower return in the event of a win. And just as in a standard parlay bet, both teams must cover these new spreads in order for you to win and for your teaser bet to pay out.

Teaser bets are most common when betting on football, and slightly less so in basketball. They can involve two teams, or many more—some sportsbooks allow up to 10 bets in a teaser. As with any type of parlay bet, teasers can generate large returns, but they are also risky.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / For sports bettors, are you attracted with bet builder feature? on: November 15, 2023, 01:15:38 PM
I just recently explored the bet builder feature of the sportsbook I'm currently using, and I find it interesting as you can have more bets combine in just one game which is impossible on parlay bets. So I'd like to hear your thoughts regarding this, is it also profitable or just a waste of money?
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Why do sportsbook does not apply parlay on the same event? on: May 27, 2022, 01:54:42 PM
I'm just curious guys, I like to ask your opinion on why sportsbooks do not apply parlay on the same event. I remember when I was new to sports betting, one of the sites I'm using allowed it but now it's not possible anymore.

What do you think are the reasons for that?

Reymart Gaballo record_ https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/677961

Since this is an order, I guess this will be the next fight of Donaire, no more against Inoue or Casimero, it will be against Gaballo.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Now that we are in 2020 on: January 03, 2020, 12:50:54 PM
We are in 2020 and we hope to see a good start of the market this year, this year we are hopeful that a bull run could come again due to many big events, one popular one for bitcoin is its halving and for altcoins, Libra launch?? i know some would disagree as they are against in Libra project.

But here's the question, if the market goes bullish and altcoins are pumping, do you think when there is an ICO, people are still going to invest?

personally I believe they will not because there an IEO already but I like to hear yours.

A lot of us here love sports and we are betting at the same time.
I am not successful in this kind of venture but I would love to know from people here on what they do in order to win.
They say that sports betting has no house edge, but why is it it's still hard to win here?

Hi fellas, I need your opinion on who will win this year's NBA Finals MVP.

Here are the odds from sportsbet

Curry 1.55 - Leonard 3.50- D. Green 6.50 - Thompson 25 - Durant 30 - Pascal 35

I am going to put my bet before game 3, and I was thinking of putting my bet on D. Green to win the Finals MVP.

Who's your pick and why?
