Noen som kjenner til dette selskapet?

Eller om de lager ASIC kretser selv? Evt. hvilken produsent?

How do the pools calculate your mining hash throughput?
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / ASIC architectures? on: March 19, 2013, 03:58:20 PM
Are the architectures of some of the current ASIC offerings described anywhere?

  • How many SHA256 cores do they typically have per die?
  • At what frequency or throughput do the cores operate?
  • What kind of external interface do they have?
  • What kind of chip to chip interconnect do they have?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Mining behind a firewall? on: March 16, 2013, 03:17:30 AM
Is it possible to tunnel/forward traffic to port 8332 (under Linux) using ssh or similar If you're behind a firewall which is blocking 8332 and would like to run a miner?
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Miner test data? on: March 13, 2013, 10:25:05 PM
I would like to obtain a block of data as it's fetched from the net, store it on a file, run some miner code on it, and then verify that I have the correct results.

What is the best way to do this? I saw some posts regarding testnet-in-a-box (or did this turn into the -testnet option?), but would this just get fresh blocks with no expect intermediate/values?

I'm new to bitcoin so my terminology might not be correct...

[EDIT] fixed spelling
10  Local / Skandinavisk / Billig strøm/kjøling i Norge? on: March 13, 2013, 09:56:21 AM

I'm a Linux user and I've recently installed bitcoind/bitcoin-qt (version v0.6.3.0-g6e0c5e3-beta) and built cpuminer (minerd version 1.0.2) but I can't get them to work together.

I start bitcoind:

Code:
bitcoind -datadir=mydatadir -conf=mybitcoin.conf  -printtoconsole
Then I verify that I can communicate with the rpc server:

Code:
curl --user myrpcuser --data-binary '{"jsonrpc": "1.0", "id":"curltest", "method": "getinfo", "params": [] }' -H 'content-type: text/plain;' http://127.0.0.1:8332/
which responds:
Code:
{"result":{"version":60300,"protocolversion":60001,"walletversion":60000...

Then I start the miner:

Code:
./minerd --userpass myrpcuser:myrpcpass -P --url http://localhost:8333
which outputs:

Code:
...

[2013-03-13 09:50:37] 8 miner threads started, using SHA256 'sse2_64' algorithm.
* Empty reply from server
* Connection #0 to host localhost left intact
[2013-03-13 09:51:30] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server
[2013-03-13 09:51:30] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

In the bitcoind session I can observe the following output:

Code:
accepted connection 127.0.0.1:51079

PROCESSMESSAGE MESSAGESTART NOT FOUND

Any clues as how I can resolve this?
12  Local / Skandinavisk / Hvordan starte? on: March 12, 2013, 04:34:08 PM
Hei,
