Hi, I'm not sure if my account can be cosidered old member here or not but I want to ask something about actmyname's spammer tag. Let's be honest, with basic neccessities being expensive these days, we all know that why most members here spend time engaging in this forum is because of those signature campaigns that pays money. Same as me, it's also why I stay active in this forum, to have a chance to participate in one of them and earn extra income. Life's been tough since last year and I am grabbing any source of income or job possible that I can do. I was applying for a signature campaign then I saw this rule which automatically restricts me to take a chance to participate. if you have a neutral feedback left by actmyname, or if you have neutral feedback from another DT member who flagged you as a sig spammer I want to ask if all campaign managers follow this rule? My account got tagged by actmyname during my early college years and my english vocabulary during those times is not that good and my knowledge about topics in this forum is very limited, I have no idea that I was spamming already in my posts. My point is does a spammer many years ago will forever be spammer and won't be able to improve his posting quallity? I maybe was a spammer before but I believe my postings or the way I discuss to this forum have improved. I tried to contact actmyname in telegram which is provided on his bitcointalk profile to ask if he can remove the tag but he didn't respond. I'm not sure if that telegram he provided is active since my message had never shown a sign of being seen by him. If you reached this point, thank you for taking your time reading this. I hope this will not get me banned or get a red tag in this forum. I just want to get an answer. Cheers to all and goodnight.

Has anyone ever tried wearing a Bitcoin clothing in public? I wore mine to an event earlier this week and noticed that most of the young age people were looking at it. One person even asked me if I owned a Bitcoin(which I've answered him ). It just popped into my mind that is it making myself vulnerable to bad people? We are aware that we should keep quiet if we own Bitcoin because of the risk that someone will hurt us or target us so that they could get our Bitcoin.

Hi guys. I hope someone could help me with this. I have Ronin and Metamask wallet that is connected to my Trezor T. Recently, this kind of warning appear everytime I make transactions using the hardware wallet. I already reached out to metamask support to see if they have a solution but they just give me a ticket no. and said they will contact me soon. I already tried using different browser and update them to latest version but the warning is still there. I'm afraid I won't be able to access my stored assets once connect v8 is fully phased out. Is there any way I can do to manually update to connect v9?

Inflation rapidly increased this year. Basic food stuffs like egg, oil for cooking, meat, and fish here in our country almost doubled compared to its price last year. I'm wondering if it's possible that the price of commodities will return to its previous years. If so, how or what will cause it to happen. It's just scary to think that our money continues to depreciate over the years. Will there be a time that will come where average earners like me won't be able to afford a basic life anymore.

Anyone here played games like FGO, Epic Seven, or Summoners War before? Do you consider it to be some kind of gambling addiction if a player whales or spend tons of money in the game just to get a certain item?
For those who don't know, a gacha game is a genre of video game where players pull, spin, or roll using an in-game currency to receive a random item. That item can be something that could make their characters stronger or sometimes it's just some limited skin which has no effect other than to make their characters look cooler.

Yesterday, my mom did a general cleaning on my room and when she's done, I saw the recovery phrase of my Trezor hardware wallet on the garbage can which I placed on my computer table, I also have that same copy on my wallet but still can't stop myself to tremble in fear to lose that piece of paper. I didn't told her about it to avoid more argument because she wouldn't still understand what it is. This is what I've been scared about when people say to write your recovery phrases on a piece of paper instead of storing it online.
I would like to know how others keep these secret phrases if the people in your house are not really knowledgeable in crypto. Would it be safe if I store it online but the file is encrypted and password protected?

I'm just curious when did you start learning crypto?
Seeing posts from legendary members make me wonder how long they've been into crypto. I mean did they already knew much about crypto before their account was created here. You'll see on their posts that they have really deep knowledge about how cryptocurrencies and blockchain works. It just amazes me seeing their posts that it's like they have a decade of knowledge compared to what I know when I started to learn crypto in 2016.

I see a lot of threads here about some countries imposing a tax on gambling casinos. And each forum member has their own opinion about this type of topic.
Now I'm wondering, does implementing a tax on a gambling platform will really help a country?
- What are the pros and cons of it? - What should be the proper tax percentage for you that they should impose. - Will this be a bad thing for gamblers?
Also, are these governments capable of taxing online gambling casinos that we often use like stake, chips, etc...

I wonder what really triggered the price of bitcoin to dump this hard. From its ATH of $65k to $30k, that is already more than 50% dump. I don't think Elon Musk is the only one responsible for this because I often read people only blaming him. It's like ghost month came earlier than we expected.
And also, if institutions and many people are buying this dip then who are these people selling their bitcoin all the way down to earlier's dump. If these people are new to crypto and are panic selling, can it really drive the price this low?

USDT, TUSD, BUSD, and USDC are all stablecoins. They have a value that is tied with the US dollar at 1:1 ratio. Now I'm wondering what is their differences. - Does each of them has different purpose other than being tied to USD?
- Do they have different features or the fees when using them is different from one another?
- Why USDT is commonly used when trading other crypto not the others?

In the near future, you can earn some bitcoin while playing the popular fps game called Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or what we know as CS:GO. Thanks to bitcoin startup ZEBEDEE, they will launch a CSGO server where players can earn based on their performance on the game. Players will pay as low as 100 satoshi and depending on their KDA(kill, death, assist) ratio, they can get a share of the total prize based on their performance of the final game result. They can cashout anytime and it will be handled by the Lightning Network. This will open a lot of opportunities for online games not only on fps to integrate bitcoin. This is good news for gamers but also has some disadvantages because it will increase the rate of game addiction unless they put a maximum amount to earn daily or monthly. Chinese New Year is on February 12. Do you think bitcoin and other altcoins will dump on that day or before? Seeing the current market now is going up I doubt that it will go down but many were saying that it's already a tradition that the market goes down during this day. Will bitcoin go below $30k? Is this a buying opportunity for many of us.
What are your thoughts on this?

Since bitcoin and altcoin are pumping these past few days I thought that it's time to take profit soon. Problem is I'm hesitating when to sell. I admit I bought some of those near their ATH on its btc value. If I sell when it reaches ATH of USD value I can recover my loss but looking on btc value, it's not even half of how much btc I spend when I bought it.
For you, will some of the alts reach their ATH again in terms of btc value?
Any suggestion on what to do guys?
P.S. I'm not sure where is the proper board for this. I'm thinking this can be on bitcoin discussion, trading discussion, or altcoin discussion.

Share your thoughts mga mam/sir!

I have a bittrex account created few years ago. I just opened it yesterday after a year and I found out that I still have 0.014 btc there. I want to withdraw it but my account was disabled for some reason and it asks me to complete identity verification.
Now the problem is I didn't use my real name when I created that account and it's not allowed to change it. Will I succeed in identity verification if I submit an ID and selfie even if my profile info is not the same on the ID?
It's really a waste for a 0.014 btc or $150 just to be stuck on there.
