25  Economy / Goods / UK EU Group Buy Lealana Coins **All Denominations** ORDER BY 20th DEC on: December 12, 2013, 02:16:45 PM
Hi

I set up a group buy from Casascius which can be found here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=315526

I have been asked about a group buy from Smoothie and the Lealana coins and would like to gauge interest.

It will again be on a non profit basis, all costs will be split the same as with the casascius buys. (Basically as fairly as possible)

I will come with more details soon, just throwing this out there for now.

30  Economy / Goods / 2 x 0.5 Casascius Coins for sale 2013 on: November 18, 2013, 04:02:19 AM
Hi

I am doing this on behalf of a friend so please understand this is not my sale.

He has 2 0.5 2013 coins for sale and he would like to turn it into digital BTC. I told him i normally ask for 0.85 each but if he puts it up for offer he might sell quicker.

So if you want to make an offer please do. (0.5 each as a minimum obviously Wink )
31  Economy / Service Discussion / Unconfirmed transaction on: November 09, 2013, 03:18:46 AM
I have sent some bitcoins to fund a localbitcoins transaction over 11 hours ago and it is still showing as unconfirmed. I can't remember anything taking this long before.

My wallet says the funds are out of the wallet but still no confirmations.

32  Economy / Speculation / Satoshi's Coins on: November 04, 2013, 09:21:43 PM
Just read a couple of posts about the coins that Satoshi mined.

Is it true that everyone knows where they are?

Would people notice if they started to be spent?

What do you think would happen to the price and why?

35  Economy / Speculation / Gox pulling away?? on: October 23, 2013, 02:01:16 PM
Any ideas why Mt. Gox would be pulling away from the others today? GBP up to £133 and $ is £213. BTCChina and Bitstamp seem to be just ranging?
36  Economy / Goods / Older Casascius coins on: October 23, 2013, 12:06:46 PM
I am interested in what people think some of the older casascius coins are now worth. I have not seen many 25's on the market for a while and no series 1 5's for a long time.

Also, somebody mentioned a double error series 1 1BTC. If anyone has pictures i would love to see it.

Another rarity is the 0.5 Silver with the Series 2 hologram, apparently there were only 30 or so of these. I think there were 1BTC Silvers with these too but quite a few more made.

Anyway, just interested to see what people would consider some of these to be worth now.

PS If anyone has a gold plated 10 or a series 1 25 then PM me Wink
37  Economy / Goods / (UK GROUP BUY 20/20) 1BTC Gold Plated Casascius Silver Coins on: October 21, 2013, 12:03:12 PM
This is for a group buy for the 1BTC Gold Plated Silver coins

Costs for the coins will be split evenly depending how many coins you have.

Postage will be split evenly between unique buyers. So if there are 10 people ordering different amounts of coins then postage will be divided by 10, irrespective of how many you order.

If this other group buy looks like it might finish around the same time then postage will be combined between all unique users for both, saving everyone a little more. Smiley

Postage from me to each individual user will be worked out for each person on a non profit basis.
38  Economy / Goods / (UK & EU GROUP BUY 13/20) 0.1BTC Casascius Silver Coin on: September 30, 2013, 09:53:46 AM
Hi

I think the new silver 0.1BTC casascius coins look great and as a collector have to have a few, as a reseller though i feel they are a little to high cost to be able to sell them though.

I would like to start a group buy for the UK & EU.

My proposal is simple. We split the price of the coins and postage to the UK evenly between all of us and the extra postage needed to send from me to the final buyer is covered individulally by each buyer.

I have sold a few coins on bitmit now and have done a few trades with various people. I am looking to build my reputation too which is why i am happy to make no profit on this order. (And i want a few coins)

Price will be 9BTC/20 = 0.45 BTC for each coins. EDITED AS IT WAS UNCLEAR

Postage will be 0.5BTC/total different users involved. eg. if there is 10 different buyers we will all pay 0.05 extra in total.

EDIT (In case of a customs charge then this will be split between unique users in the same way as postage, if you are not ok with this please let me know)

I will start it and see if anyone is interested

40  Bitcoin / Meetups / Trip to Berlin on: August 23, 2013, 01:06:26 AM
Berlin is fast becoming a Bitcoin Mecca, with a whole district starting to accept BTC in hotels, bars and restaurants.

What about organising a Bitcointalk forum meet up. A chance to have a few days with fellow bitcoiners, talk bitcoin and drink some nice beers. I dont know when? Maybe sometime in October? (I think there is a big beer festival in Germany)

Anyway, just an idea. Interested to see what people think.
