21  Other / Off-topic / Libertarian dating sites, etc. on: July 04, 2013, 11:36:46 PM
So, I know most of us are dudes here.  But where are the (preferably HOT) Libertarian chics at?  I'm sick of dating these lost in pop culture, don't know sh*t, debt ridden, Obama votin', fast food eatin', anti-gun bit*#es.  Yeah, I can google it.  But was wandering if yal know which dating site is the best without all the BS and spam issues.

Happy 4th of July (I think?)  Not as happy as it used to be with all the anti-firework laws because of dumb a$$ people blowing their hands off, etc (my cousin did it, love him!)  All firework shows have become the very definition of America...blowing up Fed printed money in the air.  Literally!

Sincerely,

me!  (extremely sarcastic and kinda drunk)

Please laugh.....Tongue

23  Other / Beginners & Help / Used laptop, wallet synced almost immediately? on: June 20, 2013, 04:05:48 PM
I bought a used Asus on Amazon.com.  I reformatted the hard drive.  I then installed the Bitcoin QT wallet.  It synced with the network almost immediately.   What does this mean?  Thanks?
24  Bitcoin / Hardware / Kncminer power supplies on: June 20, 2013, 03:17:30 AM
I read on their website that the Saturn and Jupiter units require an external power supply.  Does anyone know of a specific product that will do the job?  Please post links.  Also, are there any other accessories we may need?  Thanks!
25  Bitcoin / Mining support / USB Erupter help needed on: June 05, 2013, 08:42:35 PM
Noob here. I have a new/used Asus on Windows 7.  Trying to ruin cgminer-nogpu.  Plain Cgminer won't run.  It says:

Icarus detect <1:5> failed to initialise <incorrect device?>
USB init, open device failed, err -12, you need to install a Windows USB driver for - AMU device 1:5
Icarus detect <1:5> failed to initialise <incorrect devise?>

I tried to follow all the other thread's instructions.  All the read me files.  Some things didn't make any sense to me, couldn't do what they were saying.  What does all this mean above?  What should I do?

Thanks!!
26  Economy / Service Discussion / I asked Chipotel to accept Bitcoin... RESPONSE! on: June 04, 2013, 11:26:33 PM
Original Comment:

You should accept bitcoin as payment. Please use the company "Bitpay" to set it up. I don't not work for them, I have no financial interest in them. I'm simply a user of bitcoin and you're the only restaurant I eat at as regularly. Thank you

Response:

Thanks for being such a fan and for the suggestion to use bitcoin. We don't have any plans to accept this as payment, but I'll be sure to pas your suggestion along to the powers that be. We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!

Sincerely,
Cara

27  Economy / Economics / Peter Schiff on Bitcoin on: June 02, 2013, 12:38:46 AM
From, "The Peter Schiff Show."  He doesn't discuss BTC often but I thought I would start compiling clips from his shows and post them as they appear.  It's been discussed on the show many times in the past but I have no idea when.  I never thought to compile it.  But I will from here on.  Peter does not think bitcoin has any intrinsic value.  He doesn't believe in it because you can't hold it and use it for anything else like gold/silver can.  But he does believe in the principle and idea governing it.

April 31, 2013.  Discussing Liberty Reserve and bitcoin.

28  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Help: Need cheap laptop for external mining [CLOSED] on: May 29, 2013, 09:14:02 AM
I've searched this forum, can't find my answer.

I'm acquiring 5 Block Eruptors, and hopefully/eventually some BFL ASICS.  I prefer a cheap laptop pc, preferably windows 7 to run the software.  I will NOT use the laptop's cpu's or gpu's for mining.  I'm not interested in a R.Pi.

Any suggestions on a model for power efficiency and cheap price?  I've considered a Nexus 7 but I've read there's issues with it suddenly stopping with easyminer, requiring a reboot.  And can a Nexus 7 run the icarus protocol with cgminer for the eruptors?

I prefer to buy on Amazon, I have a gift card.  And I'm partial to Asus and Samsung.

Thanks!
