1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Advertising for GPT/PTC site on: August 02, 2020, 08:25:16 AM

I am looking for good sites that let you advertise for GPT/PTC campaign. So far I tried FaucetPay which gave me good results but I want to diversify.
PTC or incentive sites do not interest me, I would rather have time campaigns. Ie you pay $20 for one week, regardless of the engaged clicks.

Any feedback or ideas?

3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Scammer addresses directory on: October 24, 2018, 07:23:37 AM

Everyday, I receive tons of mails with the famous messages saying "they" know my password, "they" installed a Windows RAT on my Linux desktop, "they" recorded me while I was watching porn despite my parental filter that prevent everyone in the house to access to adult material   Grin

So I decided to record every address here:

Feel free to use it or even to populate it with your own records.

4  Economy / Exchanges / Certificate error using Bitstamp ? on: April 01, 2018, 10:02:29 AM

This morning I got a message from Chrome and Chromium as well telling me the Bitstamp certificate is wrong.
I am using OpenDNS which could be the root cause.

Do you have the same issue ?

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Dealing with Bitcoin hackers on: January 26, 2018, 06:50:27 PM
Hello mates !

As an owner of a Bitcoin business, I can see a huge raise of the intrusion attempts on one of my server.
Most of those lamers are trying to check if ever I would host an online wallet and try to download it.

See for instance those evidences I recorded:

2018-01-16 21:13:39 [] 404(): wallet.dat
2018-01-16 21:13:41 [] 404(): wallet.dat.backup
2018-01-16 21:13:41 [] 404(): wallet.dat.bak
2018-01-16 21:13:42 [] 404(): wallet.dat.gz
2018-01-16 21:13:43 [] 404():
2018-01-16 21:13:44 [] 404():
2018-01-16 21:13:46 [] 404(): wallet.gz
2018-01-16 21:13:47 [] 404(): wallet.dat.rar
2018-01-16 21:13:49 [] 404(): wallet.rar
2018-01-16 21:13:51 [] 404(): backupwallet.dat
2018-01-16 21:13:53 [] 404(): backupwallet.dat.backup
2018-01-16 21:13:54 [] 404(): backupwallet.dat.bak
2018-01-16 21:13:58 [] 404(): backupwallet.dat.gz
2018-01-16 21:14:02 [] 404():

But since I used to be a bad guy too long time ago, I had the following ideas:

  • Redirect them to an easy affiliate link, like Chaturbate for example
  • Redirect them to a file which contain a malware, a virus or an insult
  • Redirect them to a file which contain a script that will mess them (wait forever, hang their PC, etc.)
  • Redirect them to the CIA or the NSA.

They are easy to detect as they keep on using the same file name, ie wallet, backupwallet, etc.

Be careful also as they are trying to access to those critical directories:

I would advise you not to use them anymore or simply reject the incoming traffic.

So to setup my tricky projects, I simply use those statments inside my .htaccess:

RewriteRule ^bitcoinwallet\.(.)+ hxxp:// [L]
RewriteRule ^btcwallet\.(.)+ hxxp:// [L]
RewriteRule ^wallet\.(.)+ hxxp:// [L]
RewriteRule ^backupwallet\.(.)+ hxxps:// [L]

RewriteRule ^/?backup/(.)+ hxxp:// [L]
RewriteRule ^/?bitcoin/(.)+ hxxp:// [L]
RewriteRule ^/?btc/(.)+ hxxp:// [L]

This is working pretty well, even better you could make some money with those villains Grin

Enjoy !

7  Economy / Service Discussion / Signature campaign and foreign language on: October 24, 2017, 02:35:24 PM
Hello friends,

I have a little question based on your own experience coz I can't find any reply.
When posting for a signature campaign, do you write inside foreign sections like german, french, italian, etc.
I know signature manager usually do not accept some topics, like beginners, politics or games.
But I never read anything related to foreign sections and I saw some users doing it.

Any comments or feedback ?

9  Economy / Service Announcements /, the Bitcoin search engine on: September 30, 2017, 03:02:52 PM

I would like to introduce SeeKoin, a specialized search engine for Bitcoin, Blockchain and other crypto-currencies.

SeeKoin crawls the Bitcoin eco-system and index the revelant pages; it can also index other resources, like images, icon, PDF, Tweets and if it's possible even onion URL (Quiet difficult as Tor world hates crawler  Cheesy

The search engine focus on Bitcoin and Blockchain, but you should be able to grab some content of the major other currencies like Ethereum, Dashcoin, Litecoin, etc.

SeeKoin has a lot of real-time data, like price, difficulty, volume and of course main revelant news. SeeKoin also uses a system called SeeKoin Knowledge Graph, similar to Google. It can display structured information according to what you asked. Type "bitcoin price", "fork" or "ico" to see an example of this feature. SeeKoin has a caching system which speedup the output of its search engine results pages, or SERPs.

The search engine does not crawl randomly the Internet: it uses the requests typed by the visitors to fetch more informations related to those requests. For instance, typing "poker" will cause the crawler to look for Bitcoin poker pages. Therefore, I am not responsible of the content of the SeeKoin index, as everything comes from the wishes of the visitor. By the way, you can submit your own pages. Please be patient, as my over-work crawler, a mysterious program called Bobo is a very busy guy.

SeeKoin does not use any other search engine API; it relies only on its own index capabilities and has its own and private ranking system. The site is mobile-friendly and use a responsive web design. Only english pages are supported, foreign content are filtered and removed from the index.

SeeKoin respect your private life and does not record any private data. I even do not use cookies.

Hope you will like it and use it.

Have a pleasant day.

11  Bitcoin / Electrum / Cold storage: upgrade or not ? on: August 16, 2017, 11:44:02 AM

I am using an older release of Electrum (2.7.x) for my cold storage. This one is only used for signing the outgoing transactions.

Knowing updating a system without network connections can be a pain, shall I update this one or not ?

12  Economy / Services / [WTB]Web design and review, the Bitcoin search engine on: April 16, 2017, 02:34:30 PM

I am looking for someone to help me to build a better design of my Bitcoin site:, a Bitcoin and Blockchain search engine.

As people said in this topic, the design really sucks so I would like to have something much more professional and attractive.
The new design should not prevent my visitors to add SeeKoin to their Internet browser as a new homepage like what is doing right now Google or Bing (unlike now).

The work will consist in the following main tasks:

  • Review the main page
  • Review the SERPS page (Enter "bitcoin" or "bitcoin price" for an example of the SERP pages. Don't forget images, PDF and Onion URL)
  • Review generic pages (Faucet, FAQ, contact, etc.)
  • Adapt Seekoin logo to your design (optional)

Please send me your portfolio or any website pages you already designed: my decision will be based upon what I really like and revelant to a search engine site.
Also consider our cooperation a a long term business, as I may ask other improvements in the future if I am satisfied with your achievements.

15  Bitcoin / Project Development / SeeKoin - A Bitcoin/Blockchain and crypto search engine on: February 12, 2017, 04:31:06 PM

After almost one year of hard coding, I want to introduce to you the result of my huge efforts: SeeKoin, a new Bitcoin search engine.

SeeKoin crawls the Internet and harvest the pages only related to Bitcoin, Blockchain and some other cryptocurrencies.

But SeeKoin behaviour differs from the other search engines: it doesn't crawl random pages but try to index the information according to the requests done by the  users. Thus, I am not the one deciding what should go to the SeeKoin index, but you are, most of the time. Of course, only Bitcoin and similar crypto technologies pages will be indexed.

SeeKoin has lots of indexing capabilities, and doesn't rely on other search engines API: it has its own features and its own spider bot, a mysterious program called "Bobo". When you will be using SeeKoin, you will see web pages are not the only item Bobo can index. You may have some good surprises using specific requests ...

I would not consider SeeKoin totally completed: there may be some remaining issues and bugs. I would like to have your comments to improve this program and why not building together something very useful for the Bitcoin community, one of the most valuable one I have ever met. I will be opened to your requests.

Coding a search engine is not a simple job, but for sure a real good experience.

Have a nice day.
16  Bitcoin / Electrum / Can't transfert to offline wallet on: October 16, 2016, 09:41:03 AM

I created an offline wallet as explained in the Electrum documentation.
From my online PC, I imported my public key creating a watch-only wallet. Got the warning message telling me I can't spend coins from it.
I sent some coins to my offline address from another client. After a while, the transaction appeared in the watch-only wallet.
Tried to create an unsigned transaction from the send menu, set offline address as destination, hit "preview", coz I couldn't find the "send button".
The transaction data don't seem to be reliable as the amount is set to "0" although I entered the right amount.
Tried to transfert it to the air-gapped host and of course failed, trying to sign the transaction and calling a remote server.
What am I missing ? Where is this bloody "send button" ? I use 2.7.8 release.

Thanks for helping me.
