Finally getting around to selling some of my GPUs. Shipping from Montreal, Canada. Local pickup not a problem. Escrow is fine, buyer pays escrow fees. Here's what's available with prices in USD: 7950: 1x Sapphire Reference $125 3x Gigabyte Windforce 3 $135 7970: 15x MSI/Gigabyte/Diamond/Sapphire Reference $150 6x Sapphire Dual-X $150 1x Powercolor (no fans) $120 6x Asus DC2 (tripple slot monsters) $170 1x Asus Matrix Platinum $200 280x: 1x Sapphire Dual-X (good fans) $150 (Only 1 left!) 6x Sapphire Dual-X (bad fans) $120 1x Asus DC2 (Dual slot version) $170 290: 16x Sapphire Reference $200 1x MSI Gaming Edition $220 These have all been tested working 100% by running 3 hours of benchmarks / games on them. Each test consists of 1h Unigine Valley, 1 hour 3DMark, and 1 hour BF4. A few reference 290 and some 7970 cards have had their back plates modified to allow better cooling and reduced noise:

Bitcoin / Pools / Help/advise needed for proper p2pool configuration
|
on: January 30, 2014, 07:37:37 PM
|
I've just decided to run my ant miners using p2pool as I like the idea of keeping bitcoin decentralized. I've got a few questions, though. First off, here is my current setup: Win 7 x64 3930k 16GB RAM bitcoin and p2pool software on an SSD 175Mbps/175Mbps Fiber optic connection (extremely low latency) added to bitcoin.conf: blockmaxsize=1000000 mintxfee=0.00001 minrelaytxfee=0.00001 I've given both bitcoin and run_p2pool.exe realtime priority across all 12 threads. I'm currently using my main wallet, but I've read that this is not a good idea. How dangerous is this? If this setup is not ideal, I could slap a dedicated rig together using the following spare parts: i3 3220 (2 core / 4 threads) Is this CPU good enough? Or would I be better served with an i5 or i7? 2, 4, or 6GB of ram (suggestion?) Spare 64GB SSD If I'm going with a dedicated machine for p2pool, I'd like to run some flavor of Linux on it, but I'm a total noob with Linux. Are there any particularly good guides in regards to installing all required software? Which distro would be best? I'd like a GUI if possible. (ubuntu?) Thanks in advance! Currently running 2 ants with 3 more coming and 26 USB block errupters. Does this seem to suggest that I'm properly setup right now?

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Problem solo mining with Litecoin 0.8.4.1
|
on: September 11, 2013, 12:08:45 AM
|
Hey guys,
I used to be able to solo mine just fine with 0.6.9.x, but now this wallet is limiting how many computers can connect to it to get work. It will only let 4 rigs connect to it at once. As soon as I close cgminer on one of the rigs, another rig will instantly switch to solo from pool mining bringing the connection count back to 4 rigs. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
Thanks!

Hey guys, I know a lot of you have given up on running 7x 79xx series cards because it's a huge pain in the ass. Well, I've found the right hardware combo to make it happen! All cards are normally pegged at 740KH/s, but they're a little slower on this pool for some reason. Rig hardware: Ivy Bridge i3 or Pentium MSI Z77 MPower 7x Sapphire Dual-X 7970 Seasonic 1000w Platinum + Seasonic X760w Software: Windows 8 x64 Techpowerup's 13.1 drivers I have another rig running 7x GB WF3 7950s with an MSI Big Bang Xpower X58. I also have an MSI Z77-GD65 running another 6x 7970s which I'm going to try a 7th card on when I get a chance, but I don't think that board is going to work with 7 cards. TLDR: 7 cards is possible!

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [AUCTION] 1000 WORLDCOINS
|
on: May 16, 2013, 08:52:54 PM
|
Accepting LTC or BTC equivalent only.
Starting bid is 2LTC, auction closes in 2 hours. Final bidder will be chosen by me, and possibly given the option of buying a greater quantity for the same rate. Winner sends first, refer to my reputation thread.
If I'm away and a higher bid comes in a few minutes after the hour is up, I reserve the right to go with that bid. Let's say 10 mins past the hour max to put some closure to it. Last bidder within the hour will be given the option to match if he so desires.
Go!
