Those responsible for the world’s second largest illegal online market in the dark web, Wall Street Market, were also arrested in Germany, and two of the highest-selling suppliers of narcotics were arrested in US.
Finnish authorities shut down Silkkitie earlier this year. When the same traders moved their activities to another illegal trade site on Tor, German authorities brought their illegal activities to an end
The German Federal Criminal Police (Bundeskriminalamt) shut down the Wall Street Market, under the authority of the German Public Prosecutor’s office. They were supported by the Dutch National Police (Politie), Europol, Eurojust and various US government agencies (Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internal Revenue Service, Homeland Security Investigations, US Postal Inspection Service, and the US Department of Justice). The Silkkitie (known as the Valhalla Marketplace) and its contents was also seized by Finnish Customs (Tulli) in close cooperation with the French National Police (La Police Nationale Française) and Europol. Europol was assisted by Bitdefender, an internet security company advising Europol's European Cybercrime Centre (EC3).

Tout en reconnaissant qu'un withdrawal de 7000 BTC a été effectué.
Ils ont bloqué en urgence les dépôts et retraits de tout le monde pour une semaine.


On ne sait pas si c'est pour faire le buzz ou si Changpeng Zhao est serieux, mais il dit qu'ils sont en train d'étudier la possibilité d'annuler la transaction sur la blockchain par une "attaque" 51%.

Now it has emerged, that Bitcoin had a part to play, according to Israeli blockchain intelligence firm, Whitestream.

The firm, in an exclusive conversation with news portal Globes, said that an investigation conducted by the former found that on the day before the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka, there were exceptionally large transfers in the bitcoin wallets that ISIS uses to raise contributions. Militant Islamic terror group ISIS took responsibility for last month’s Sri Lankan bombings, which claimed the lives of over 250 people.

Apparently, the wallet addresses were traced to a Canada-based cryptocurrency exchange, Coinpayments. The cryptocurrency exchange specializes in changing bitcoin into regular currency. On April 20, the day before the Easter attacks, the balance in the main wallet of CoinPayments rose from just $500,000 to $4.5 million.

Whitestream added that the next day, soon after the attacks took place, the account balance dropped right back to $500,000 which was the same as the average daily monthly balance during the previous nine months.

Ca devient inquiétant tous ces hacks.

Si on ouvre une archive piégée avec une version non mise à jour de Winrar, un exe peut être copié dans le repertoire start up de Windows et executé au prochain démarrage du système.

La faille se trouverait dans une vieille librairie dll de ace.
Winrar a décidé de ne plus supporter le format ace pour retirer cette librairie.

After Hamas's military wing published a bitcoin address on Telegram on Thursday identified by Whitestream as the wallet address of Coinbase, the same Telegram channel published a second bitcoin address for collecting donations on Saturday, this time a digital wallet apparently unrelated to Coinbase. Levy explained to "Globes" today that according to a check by Whitestream, within two days of the publication of the first bitcoin address, two relatively small bitcoin donations addresses were published amounting to only $2,500.

Whitestream discovered that one of the bitcoin donations transferred to Hamas's Coinbase wallet was sent on Thursday from a "Buy Cash" bitcoin trader in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. Other bitcoin donations were sent to the Palestinian organization from wallets connected to Chinese cryptocurrencies exchange Binance and Russian cryptocurrencies exchange Vilkov, and from a wallet of another Coinbase account. Whitestream's check also revealed that bitcoin donations were sent late last week from Hamas's coinbase wallet to two bitcoin wallets: one belonging to CoinPayments, a company registered in the Cayman Islands, and one belonging to Binance.

The second Hamas bitcoin address has so far received donations from wallets of US trading platforms Bittrex and Coinbase, from Binance and Vilkov wallets, and from the coinMixer.io mixing service. Mixing technology mixes different addresses of digital currencies, thereby making it difficult to identify their users. Levy told "Globes" that the Hamas Coinbase wallet may have been blocked, and another wallet opened for collecting donations. The Whitestream team will continue monitoring incoming and outgoing transactions on Hamas's bitcoin addresses in the near future.
