We are living in fucked up world where human life doesn't matter much these days. everyday bad news keeps coming out. Last month shooting in New Zealand mosque before that suicide bomber attack on Indian forces. Recently one of our fellow bitcoiner "Elwar" got in trouble. And now multiple Bomb blasts in Srilanka. Perpetrators targeted 3 hotels and 3 churches when they were holding Easter services this morning. At least 160 died and more than 500 people Injured in this heinous attack. Edit 5Srilanka Banned the 2 Islamist terrorist groups Maithripala Sirisena, the President of Sri Lanka, has placed a ban on 2 terrorist groups that are linked to the Easter Sunday Bomb Blasts under the president’s emergency powers.
NTJ (National Thawheed Jammath) and JMI (Jamathei Millathu Ibraheem) have been banned by the President, this means that the government of Sri Lanka is capable of confiscating any property that belongs to the 2 terrorist groups.

There are some backdoor chatters is going on why Sri Lanka avoided the initial warnings about Terrorist attacks which was given by India and its not looking good. some even saying that India kept warning Sri Lankan authority about the Islamist activities in their country for quite sometime but Sri Lankan official choose to avoid all warning- didn't take seriously because of internal politics in Sri Lanka. Stock of Weapons found near Commando training camp
A stock of firearms and ammunition which had been buried in a land close to the road leading to Commando Training Camp at Wellawaya – Uva Kudaoya has been found.
The Army said the search was carried out on a tip-off received by the Police yesterday (12), and 2 repeaters, two shotguns 342 T-56 ammunitions, 593 Shotgun ammunitions and 75 M6 bullets were discovered buried.
Two suspects have been taken into custody as well in connection with the incident.

With barely minimal possessions and minimum facilities, the once persecuted group of people live in much uncertainty and fear. They plead for their cases to be expedited, so they can be resettled in a third country soon, which was their aim in coming to Sri Lanka in the first place.
According to a Human Rights Lawyer who did not want to be named, the asylum seekers and refugees from Pakistan and Afghanistan are fleeing persecution, including systemic violence by extremist groups, due to their identity as Ahmadi, Shia or Christians. They are also fleeing legal persecution under a legal system which targets minorities as apostates or under anti-blasphemy legislation. “They live in fear. They have come here in families because they have faced violent mobs, killings, and any member of the family left behind is likely to be targeted. They have come here out of absolute desperation. They have zero ability to go back,” the HR lawyer said.

Prez denies knowledge of impending attack on April 21President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday said that media reports claiming that he had been informed about the impending Easter Sunday attack were absolutely false, the President’s Media Division said.
It said in a statement that there were media reports of a statement made by the Head of the National Intelligence Service, while giving evidence at the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to look into the April 21 terrorist attacks.
The media reports stated that the National Security Council did not meet after February 2019.
As there were media reports appearing unofficially on the proceedings of the NSC, it was decided to establish an NSC with a new format and this has been in operation for more than one year. The new NSC has been meeting every two weeks and, on some occasions the President has convened the meetings of the NSC every week, it said.
Furthermore, on April 8, 2019, the President has convened the monthly meeting of the Inspector General of Police and senior police officers.

That's unfortunate incident in Srilanka. May our good God give them the fortitude to bear the lost. Why on Easter day? the doers are the haters of the body of Christ, they cannot silent the body of Christ, Christ died and rose again, which today is the remembrance day. They will not escape the wroth of God upon the innocent souls they have just wasted.

What a bad news on this great day, why do all this happen to the Christians? Since then, Muslims have also been shot. I hope that the relationship between Muslims and Christians will not be affected. And compassion for the souls of the victim |

This was a god damn awful piece of news to wake up to. So many people dead an injured. Events like this really make me appreciate living in a place that noone visits and noone gives any fcks about. While it has its downsides, it helps to avoid horrific events like these.

Guns don't kill human but human killing fellow humans. I just watch the mews on the news and it so disheartened that a lot of people are getting killed day by day human life have no value any more. Everyday we hear of bomb blasting and gun shooting in my country as a third world we live with wars and rumors of war may God come to our rescue.

Why on Easter day? the doers are the haters of the body of Christ, they cannot silent the body of Christ, Christ died and rose again, which today is the remembrance day. Hey indeed it’s a unfortunate incident that has happened in Srilanka, just last year I was there where the blasts took place and I have to say the locals are really nice people. I had suspected it and now it’s confirmed it was a local terrorist organisation, they were behind this cowardly act. Also there was a warning just 10 days ago about the attack on churches, which was blatantly ignored by their officials they too should be held accountable for this mass murder. My prayers are with the dead and the victims families, I hope they find the strength to move on and resume their lives. |

What really irritates me is that its only a small percentage of humans that are truly evil but they are the ones that hold all the power. Those psycho types are able to manipulate their way up to the top and feel zero sympathy for others. That's the reality we are living in. The news and social media focus on the negativity that people do, for example, those kinds of disastrous things. They mostly report those kinds of things maybe because of political reasons and also for the "views" that they so much want and the "ratings". I think having the negativity spread easily rather than those who are good things. |

This is an absolutely horrible event. But it should be noted that this is not uncommon, it happens all the time, particularly Muslims against Christians, Jews, and other minorities, mostly in Muslim majority countries, been happening for about 1,400 years. The only reason you're probably hearing about it is because it's of the type and magnitude of an event which is hard to miss. And even then, it seems like they're still avoiding the main issue at hand. Christians need to remember to love, forgive, and stand up for the truth.
Here's what I've heard so far from the few sources I've seen:
*Obviously, it happened on Easter, and have been dubbed Easter Bombings.
This shouldn't be surprising, because every year (it seems) on major holidays that many Christians celebrate (like Easter and Christmas), there are attacks on churches, bombings becoming a favorite among Jihadis in recent years.
*Of 8 reported explosions, 3 were in churches.
Why attack churches? Or anyone at all for that matter, including the hotels? It should come as no surprise (but unfortunately it does to many people), but the Islamic sources are full of hatred of unbelievers (with an emphasis on Jews and Christians, as well as polytheists), extreme punishments for as little as "creating mischief" in the land, active and clear commands to fight unbelievers, and graphic examples of this being physically carried out by Muhammad and his men. It should be no surprise that Muslims who become more serious about following the Quran and words and examples of Muhammad in the Hadith and Sunnah are more likely to commit such acts, which again, happen all the time, although you probably don't hear of the majority of them. Muhammad himself said that he had been made victorious through terror.
*Some of the bombers were suicide bombers.
Now, aside from Japanese Kamikazes in WWll, what other group is well known for constantly carrying out suicide bomber missions (on churches, buses, and other crowded public places I might add)? What religious group guarantees going to their twisted version of Heaven (with rivers of wine, at least 72 eternal virgins with big breasts, big eyes, and... translucent skin [ya, weird], increased sexual stamina, etc) if they die fighting for their god? The answer to both of these questions is the followers of Islam. A few decades back, Sri Lanka was a peaceful multi-ethnic and multi-religious country, where everyone lived without any tension. Now there is a lot of hatred between various ethnic groups and various religious groups. I don't want to discuss about the ethnic factor, as it has been analyzed and studied many times.
The recent violence is a direct result of the Saudi Wahhabi brainwashing, which has been going on for the past 3 decades. With their petroleum revenue, the Saudis have been funding their extremist version of Islam (Wahhabism) in poor countries such as Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The group behind these attacks (National Thowheed Jamaath) has strong links to various Saudi Wahhabist organizations.

Feels sad. Hundreds of thousands of people died during the civil war, which lasted for more than three decades. More than one million people were forced to flee to the neighboring nations. Dude, go easy on yourself. ISIS is just a bunch of mercenaries paid for by the U.S. (with my tax dollars), and directed by mainly the U.S. and Israel. Nothing could be more clear to to someone like myself who watched the money move around and the group form before the text string 'I-S-I-S' was even put out there in the mainstream media properties. To be sure, a lot of the bullet-stopper pawns are radical Islamists, but they are inconsequential idiots pumped full of meth. The same class of bottom dwellers can be found (and put to good use) in among any group of people. The helicopters which swoop in to rescue the 'ISIS' leaders when Assad's forces get through the American defenses and overrun a base only pick up a couple of the leaders typically. It's a fair bet that a lot of them have blond hair and blue eyes like your's truly. Many of both those who do and those who do not have a yamaka to put on when they get home. |

But prior notifications have been provided from the neighboring countries, but it wasn't taken seriously by the officials which is a big mistake. |

If so-called 'ISIS' is an invention of U.S. and Israeli intelligence operatives (and a lot of us who follow these things believe it the case to over 99% probability) than what 'ISIS' is reported to proclaim is what U.S. and Israeli intelligence operatives proclaim. If the 'credit for the attack' as reported in the mainstream media (usually via the organization operated by the lovely Rita Katz) then the event has next to nothing to do with ' the religion of peace' other than that some of the bullet stoppers who receive their paycheck from ISIS Inc have been influenced by their Saudi Wahhabist funded education with their textbook printed in the good ol' U.S. of A.. In case people haven't notice, Israel and Saudi Arabia have an extraordinarily tight relationship these days. Same with the 'Young Turks' who maintain their power in Turkey dating back to the Ataturk days. All three happen to be dedicated to the destruction of Syria...for some odd reason.... |

I would agree on some points.
The role played by Israel during the Syrian civil war was a very negative one. They were indirectly favoring the ISIS and the Al Nusra Front, by targeting the Syrian army units that were fighting against them. They justified these attacks saying that the Syrian government is providing support for the Hezbollah (and probably the Hamas). But is Hamas a far bigger threat when compared to Hamas? I don't think so.

Sri Lanka is a nation of 25 million people and you can't expect the government to offer police protection to every religious institution. Yes.. the government was warned. But in a very vague way. There was no mention about the targets or the time of the attack. Moreover, no one expected these attacks to be in such a massive scale. Sri Lanka has no previous history of Islamic extremists blowing up at crowded places. |

JUNE 8 : Sri Lankan Muslim politicians holding top government positions have resigned, saying they want to enable the government to investigate allegations against some of them on links to Islamic extremist militants. Well good then. I can't see this happening in other countries that had Islamic terrorism. Often Muslim politicians in non-Muslim majority countries tend to cling even tighter to their position after such events, give empty talks that does nothing to prevent it from happening again, etc. |
