I'm pretty sure Peercoin was first PoS coin. Mintcoin has the first distribution method of it's kind.

Just 12 days and we will be the first 100% open source POS. We're now at $2.5 million market cap and still telling we're going doing down to 1-2 satoshis, lol? This kind of achievement is easily +$10 million.
Just look the other POW copycats coins in coinmarketcap trading over MintCoin. POS is way better than POW, we just need to work on develop this coin and have a good community.
Price will come alone after that, I don't care about short term swings because I'm long in this coin.
You seriously did not just state Mint is the first open source PoS coin? Hobonickels was birthed in Aug 2013 and I still going strong. I remember before the birth when people were discussing the coin in cryptsy chat, when Cryptsy had chat. WTF Cryptsy, bring back the chat.  Actually Mint is a clone of other coins, like 85% of Scrypt algorithm coins. Didn't know about Hobonickels, I never heard about it :/ |

Is there any way to see VOLUME in actual COINS on Cryptsy?
Look at the green bars at the bottom of the chart, it shows volume. Also notice it says volume on the left of the chart below the word price. |

This thread is getting interesting with all the inexperienced Crypto currency FUD, think of it like a wave, sometimes it will be small, large or a tsunami . Truth be said the alt coin market is at another low point, like it was last year before the huge spike that happened with BTC early Dec 2013.  |

Okay. My quess then I Been scammed for coins if there is no issues with wallet. 2 days of nonstop mining with 800khs and I get only 6k confirmed mints... Smells like scam for me. THE Pool page I BEEN MINING at, is https://mint.maxminers.net. The pool also shown on first page of this thread on pool list. The owner of website fix the problem or he is in trouble! I contacted but still nobody contacted me to solve this. To the owner of the pool: Fix my problem please and check the correct amount of conffirmed coins from my mined blocks aswell. my Mint Coin Adress: MdBNaAveG7gChvWNq2HVicRnpBjAEzwYWt Suggestion: If the pool fixes this, edit the scam accusations out of your post... Just received first minting  I still nothing... Me, neither. My frist transaction was on 2/6 at 11:24 Eastern time (US), but still haven't received any stakes Give it time. 20 days is the earliest it can possibly work, not a guarantee to happen at precisely that time. Realax, give it a few days. In order for it to work the coins need to me unmoved (I believe no transactions in or out of that address) for at least 20 days, it might take a few more days after that for it to actually go through, but it's fine because even if you wait for 25 days or 90 days, it still keeps track of your coin age and will pay you the % of what you are owed. Double click the hammer and pick icon and post the transaction details. It should have some confirmations, if not it is stale. ZERO Credit It takes 20 days for the PoS to kick in and that is today if you mined on launch. If the PoS mined has 0 confirmations it is 0 Credit. |

BC to MINT ratio is currently 51:1, MINT mining makes ZERO sense now with a max block reward of 225,000 and will make even less sense tomorrow when it drops to 112,500. BC block reward is 10,000 however with the price ration it's like getting 500,000 MINT per block. Mine all the BC while you CAN Still the more you mine, deposit and hold the larger the stake will be, the Mint price will increase also. |

Just received first minting I still nothing... Do me a favor and click on the resent transaction PoS mined icon and see what the transaction status details say. Example of a grayed out PoS mined in my HBN wallet says. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours. If it has 0 confirms for a while then it is stale. From a confirmed PoS mine none grayed out with black color font.
