My GPUs are not at screaming fan speeds now mining this algo, getting around 32Mh/s with 2x 290x and 2x 7970L.

Est next diff. 36,166.7606, I know it changes each block but that is a huge diff change from 108.226.

^ Thanks! My wallet is syncing now, just took about 5- 10 min of sitting there to kick in. So this algo is similar to what SHA256 GPU setting would be, low mem clocks, higher Core clocks.

I just launched the wallet added the config file to the appdata folder but I get no connections, 5 weeks behind.
Any addnodes?

Hi!

Are you using version 1.0.1.3 from here: http://www.groestlcoin.org/downloads/
?

We used to have this problem, but I believe it's gone with that previous update.

Perhaps you just need to wait a few seconds?

PS: I installed two new Linux wallets yesterday (while setting up the NOMP pool), they synced no problem.

Thanks

I have v1.0.1.3-unk-beta and yes I downloaded the wallet from the website at http://www.groestlcoin.org/downloads/.

Anyone using 7970 or 7970 Lightnings to mine this algo with? I am wondering about what my 7970L should be mining at. sgminer says about 11.5Mh/s for my 2x 7970L.

using -g 1 -I 19 TC 22400

HBN pow difficulty retargets every block, so no need to post it on every retarget))

Are you the forum post police? If you have noticed the Diff has increased significantly, usually it would be close to a Diff of 5ish and retarget at 3 so do not harp on my post guy, girl, shim.

@HTMLCOIN miners, please send your email address to "email@htmlcoin.com" for VERY important update. No forum posting for this update.

Why not post the update for part of the community on this forum or another?

I saw some seeming half-assed Mac instructions for a wallet.  Has anyone effectively made this?  I'm in if you can provide one.

Posted 25 March 2014 - 12:13 PM
Hi there:

MAC WALLET COMPILATION:

To compile on a MAC , following these instructions.

First make sure xcode is installed on the Mac.You can find it on the App store.
There, open up a terminal and type the following.
sudo port install boost db48 qt4-mac openssl miniupnpc git
Once that is installed reboot.
Then open up a terminal again and root into the source code.
Then Type
qmake "USE_UPNP=-" htmlcoin.pro
It will display some information on the terminal.
Then type
make -f Makefile
It will then build htmlcoin.

Tranz, one other question - After it finished syncing, my recent transactions shows the orphans I've generated rather than the most recent transactions. So like it shows 2 orphan transactions from 4/9 and one from 4/7, but if I go to the full transactions list and sort by date then I can clearly see several transactions on 4/10, 4/11, and 4/12 - so why is it randomly deciding to show me those three orphaned mining attempts from 4/9 and 4/7 under recent transactions?

Back up the wallet.dat file and run repair wallet and it will delete the orphans.

Fork the coin to N-factor / Jane  Cool it would be cooler, or even x-11

Just say no to forking, only when needed.
