don't know what are you guys talking about, but I know, that zotac I have, has the best performance, rather palit superjetstreams I have earlier.
it has higher core frequency and memory frequency, and I don't know what should a man do with a card, to brake PCB?! once installed I will never touch it again, it is working and working.
personally, I prefer to take ASUS STRIX, but by the time I have money for it, the price for Asus goes too high - more then $850. Zotac I took for $730 and Palits less then $700.. so the choice is obvious for me here
Zotac amp extreme: Very poor vrms. Poor efficiency. The cooler's massive and the gpu runs cool, but no point if it use 5-10% more power and is easier to breakdown. Search zotac 1080ti amp extreme pcb breakdown on youtube by bullzoid. avoid at all costs. i saw this video. and they guy checked and explain everything. he said that those mosfets are not the best and they can not power more than 640A. bad. but in reality any GTX1080ti will eat not more then 200-250A, so it is kinda 3 times less. so no worries here. and specially for you the timing where he says his verdict about Zotac's PCB https://youtu.be/whN03KB2D9k?t=879imho, card is worth it money. it is well build. yes, Asus strix is better, but Zotac is not bad, no need to "avoid at all costs" I have 4 zotac amp extreme and 3 gigabyte extreme. Out of these two zotac amp extreme is better. Zotac provides more hashrate and runs cooler. |

Early miners will surely make some money on that. It is always the same story. I almost wish that i had a rig of my own, so i could give it a shot this time. Even so, there very limited information regarding BTG wallets, mining pools and configurations. I do have a some old GPU which i can still try. Of course, someone out there should share his experience with us first.

Is it reading the whattomine data, zpool average payout, or any other source?, how regularly you do the automation?, Is it once a day or several time a day?, I'm interested doing this. Thank you.

Have you guys tried BTCZ? Similar to bitcoin gold but without the scam. Solid project IMHO.
Currently mining BTCZ at 680 sols (equihash) and 160+ watts using EWBF's miner.
Total revenue is currently at $3+ per day per 1080ti.
Earlier was getting 1000 BTCZ/card. Now difficulty has been increased |

Installed cuda 9, tried different clocks, tried different miners...but nothing. Have 6x 1080ti Asus rog strix which perfectly mines zcash on much higher clocks... Did miner run for few minutes? I am on older Nvidia version 385.28. Latest nvidia driver gave me problems and lesser hashrate. Miner works for 10 mins, max an hour and than crashes saying "the launch timed out and was terminaterd". Tried different drivers, now latest nvidia drivers. Tried different clocks, even stock clock and nothing... Any idea? Is CUDA installed? |

I was mining it 10 days ago, just checked today price is 4x now 0.00000165.
Yes we did, but only one place to trade it, that's not good. I know 2 exchanges one is cryptobroker.io and other one is tradesatoshi. Price is down right now from 0.*190 to 0.*120. |

u r lucky. i try mph time to time. some time it shows more than miner. may be 1-2 hours, then it come down. yet if compare it with wtm - at mph i get 10-15% less, than must gain Zcoin now $14.5 I will be selling half of my holdings. Use other miner which is shared by someone earlier in this forum. That miner gave me best results. |

Guys how to $ you are earning per card currently?
Last 2 days, I was getting 0.40 mbtc per card @75% TDP stock on zpool using nemosminer 2.2 and same thing using sniffdog 2.3 on Zpool+Hashrefinery+Ahashpool I switched to MPH and am mining monacoin directly using CCminer. It's been even worst because I can't get the pool hashrate to match my ccminer hashrate. I'm trying different versions of ccminer... I'm about to swtich to Winminer or Nicehash, getting really poor returns with usual mining tools 0.40 milli btc means $2.3. $2.3 per card is very bad you should expect minimum $3 per card. Better to mine zcoin currently giving profits $3.5- $4 Which pool are you using to mine Zcoin? I can't seem to get more than 75% of ccminer's reported hashrate to be accepted by MiningPoolHub. I tried Ccminer 2.2, 2.2.1, 2.2.2 and the djm34 v0.2.1. Miningpoolhub. Using miner which is shared by someone earlier in this thread. I have 1070, so I hope it will be alright with them. In my opinion first couple of week it will be so profitable. Later it will fall down because of useless of this coin.
No one knows how community and trader will react when first block is mined. Hope BTG follow the same path as bitcoin cash did. Bought $100 worth BTG from bitfinex, if price reaches 0.1 BTC easy 5x otherwise I will hold for some time and wait for pump. |

Is there any pool for mining BTCGold?
Check the official site. List of pools but no software and no info on how to mine.. just wait a few more days.. I saw that too and still cant find the way to mine. I would like not to wait a few more days, thats the point... BTG minig will start from 1st November. As of now I know for equihash algo ewbf miner is best, anyone know better miner for equihash? |

Even though I am a veteran in trading, I am an absolute newbie in mining related matters. I have never tried to mine because my laptop is very old with Intel i3 processor. However, I have recently purchased a new gaming laptop with i7 processor, 12 GB ram and 4 GB DDR5 graphics card. It is still on the way and probably will receive it within another 4 days. I am planning to mine Bitcoin Gold which are going to be created after the upcoming hard fork.
Can anyone please help me with a step-by-step guide of bitcoin gold mining. I need to know from the beginning as I have no idea about mining.

. You can't mine bitcoin gold on laptop unless you want to burned your new laptop gpu. For mining you need dedicated graphics card and mining produces heat.
