What happened: On February 20, 2019 DIMCOIN announces via a medium post that they will be selling DIM Tokens for a fixed price of $2.50/token through the website www.dimx.io. Users were only allowed to buy tokens and not sell their own. --- https://medium.com/@DIMCOIN/dim-announcement-3fcc8ef31936Some users were still able to sell the tokens they owned on dimx.io because of a bug and one of the admins in their telegram group confirmed that these orders were cancelled since nobody was supposed to be allowed to sell tokens. --- https://i.imgur.com/zWFo4Wa.jpg, https://i.imgur.com/O1lInGa.jpg, https://i.imgur.com/uxfRW2Y.jpgOn February 21, 2019 DIMCOIN announces via another medium post that "DIM X will now act as an escrow service for DIM Tokens with a 1% escrow fee. Users will be able to buy DIM Tokens at a fixed price made by the team, according to the DIM Token market activity. Users will only be able to sell their DIM Tokens if there is BTC available from previous or ongoing purchases." --- https://medium.com/@DIMCOIN/mast-ato-is-live-a39c0dde2ec8Reading this announcement I set up my sell order and sent 2000 DIM Tokens to dimx.io and started waiting on someone else to make a purchase so that my order gets fulfilled as per the terms of the transaction as set by DIMCOIN. The cancelled orders are the ones made before the announcement on Feb 21 and confirmed by admins of DIMCOIN to be wrong and cancelled. On February 22, 2019 dimx.io gets enough buy orders to fulfill my sell order - https://i.imgur.com/qWmncuy.jpgAs per the announcement by DIMCOIN on Feb 21, I should now have had my BTC from the sale of my DIM Tokens but when I did not receive anything for a while, I started to ask about it in the Telegram group. I was threatened by the admins to not post there and that I will be blocked if I don't comply. These and some of my messages seem to have been deleted from the group since. On February 23, 2019 After a few people including me raised questions about why DIM is not sending the BTC to Token sellers, one of the admins of the group posts "So far there were 8 people alone today that got their BTC"Another one of the DIMCOIN telegram group admins spoke to me in PM and I explained the situation to him and he said he will get back to me with an answer. He did not get back and I got a refund of my DIM Tokens and so I messaged him again about it and he resorted to threatening to block me. He goes on to call me things like "cheap shot", "hustler, crying, bugging", etc. and when I say I will have to post everything online if DIM decides not to honor a deal they made, he goes on to threaten by saying that if I am immature, I will be "tracked" and that they "have your details" --- https://i.imgur.com/2m3oJZo.jpg, https://i.imgur.com/STzrwJA.jpgNow they are refusing to honor the deal and keeping the BTC from the buy orders for themselves. I mean OP created this thread because they refunded his DIM Tokens, instead of the BTC he intended to get, really?how funny  , who does that? ---who still thinks that DIM is scam, probably DIM investors just look at you and laugh.. I mean they have archived so much so far unlike most projects come and go projects which depend on a bull market to survive and die on a bear one, you can name them, I have been involved in crypto for the past 6 years. I think it's wise to research prior to rating other users as bad and ruining their reputation, this doesn't apply only for DIM but for all projects and users. OP didn't think of painting accused users account and you did, for what reason we don't know? is it because you are a legendary member or you are a scam detector? |

I always getting the feeling that Dimcoin will be massive in the future, I am definitely apply for this trip, adding to the fact that if I win, this will actually be my first time heading to Africa, all the best the best to the team.
Go, apply and I will be supporting you with any way I can. I have the same feeling with DIM too this is one project that will be booming in the months and years to come. I actually promoted the DIM token sale last year and I got bounty tokens which I never sold so far. I believe that the whole team behind DIM are good in what they are doing and they always have the future in mind in everything they do and decide on. I am wishing you all the luck you need for your wish to soon visit the African continent. you definitely made a great choice by not dumping your bounty tokens as most investors did, i can advice you to buy more instead and thank yourself later, what the Dim Team is trying to accomplish was never done by any project before, they have several projects which are being worked on and will soon be finalised such as Hybse, Dimpay, Dim Currencies, this is actually one of the best long-term projects i have invested in and I have believed that from the very first beginning that the project is going to be massive, hold-hold-hold. i am also one of the early investors and a believer in the DIM, i am hoping for all the best and its actually great to notice that the team is doing a quite great job, one thing I have learned is that DIM is a long term project and i hope most investors start realising that and the potential within it. |

Great move finally patience paying off . I have seen dimcoin effort and invested some around 400$ then after massive dip happened . But team was doing all the effort . Lots of ICO's i participated but no one took effort like DIM they really taking lots of effort . Its really great news hope dim will moon soon.
I have to agree with you on this one, in the past weeks and months, the team really showed too much effort in making their ecosystem a success, they have announced too many developments within a short period of time and some are still on the way. |

IBIN(International Blockshare Identification Number) will introduce blockshares to the blockchain. IBIN will be similar to ISIN which is used on traditional stock exchanges to identify stocks and shares, however, theirs will be based on the companies listing on HYBSE will require an IBIN which will identify individual stocks on the blockchain. There is a limited offer for issuers to apply and register their IBIN freely and the limited offer will end on the 31st of August. In my opinion, this is a massive step for the DIM Ecosystem. very good ! We advance more than 900 places in coinmarketcap. we are in 424 place and we were in 1331.  Nothing to be happy about. The price is down and it's still sinking more and more. The daily trading volume for the last 24hrs is around $7500 ~ 0.87 B. I don't know what went wrong but It'll take more than being a NEM mosaic to breakout at this rate. After waiting for months after the ICO, We're still at ICO price. Thanks to the team's inability to fulfill on promises. You have to know that the situation now is not good for all of altcoins and some updates have not bring big pumps. Many coins are still in their ico price range and what do you need to know is the market and the whole dimcoin project that you can rely on. Don't closed your mind for the possibilities then if you cant wait you are free to sell or to leave dimcoin community. That is actually true, we shouldn't be negative since these are our investments we are talking about, and we wouldn't appreciate/tolerate any negative input from the community since it's doing no good but only harm. Negative investors should just let go their investments and stop spreading unnecessary FUD in here, we are in this for long-term and panic sellers have high chances of regretting at a later stage. We need to build a strong community behind the DIM together, I know I am nothing but negativity should be neglected and thrown away. I think the ICO frenzy has passed.. There was a couple of month period.. where DIM simply had to be on a functioning exchange. But it failed.
Unfortunately.. DIMcoin has missed the current boat. I'll keep mine, almost worthless anyway, but have almost no hope of them 'Pumping' to a 'Wow' level.
Maybe in 6 months. Not much lower it can go to be fair..
I personally think that there is still a chance that DIM can be pumped to a 'Wow' level like you said, we shouldn't forget that the project is relatively new, they haven't got any working products as yet but they sound prepared for anything that might come their way, with the launch of HYBSE late this year in June, DIMCOIN will be more popular and more recognized by most investors from all over. With Hybrid Stock Exchange being integrated into blockchain, this is going to change how the stock market works, user will be able trade stock, commodities and more without any middleman. I automatically got the impression that you haven't been following and you are a bit left behind, however, I don't mind keeping fellow community members updated about the recent updates that they might have possibly missed, at the end of the day, we still fall under the same umbrella. Since you are a bit left behind, let me start with the recent updates that the team have been working on. First of all, they recently recruited promoters from all over to spread the word about The DIM Ecosystem, ambassadors will be announced soon, then again, more exchanges were announced after the HitBTC listing(and my personal opinion is that, HitBTC is decent exchange and we are all aware of it, I have used it several times without experiencing any complications), the dimexplorer.io block explorer and forum.dim.foundation were developed and are currently functional, the new CTO was announced with more than 25 years of experience within the Telecommunication sector, the development bounty was published to the public, the open source GitHub repository, and very recent, the office video was published, which was what every investor expected from the team. Regarding the wallet, what is bad about it? I have used it for months now without any complications as well, the UI and UX is way more than I expected and I personally think that the team did a great job compared to the previous version. Stop spreading FUD only because you sold your DIMCOIN and DIM TOKENS, we didn't sell ours, we are still holding and we still believe in the team. I assume that most investors you are watching this thread, who are still holding their coins and still believing in the team won't tolerate this kind of input, rather just keep quite if you don't have anything to post. Nothing personal, just facing facts. Lastly, it's good that you have noticed that the tokens payouts were distributed in February. Only if users with the rank as mine were granted with merits, I would have awarded you with a few, this piece of information is nicely written, accurate and true. The DIM is now delivering and we are patiently waiting for Hybse in June. |

I just bought some more DIMCOIN on extrades, the new exchanges that was recently announced, it was simple, easy and it didn't take much time to confirm the withdrawal back to my wallet. Keep the exchanges coming DIM team, DIM to the moon. |

An interesting subject.
I was into crypto in 2013 and was mining etc... Got too interested in trading and looking at new coins etc. held a stash of altcoins and after the crash of 2014 i just held my coins offline.
Back to this spike I am all interested again and just purchased a BTC and traded some of my shitcoins for a few etherium. And will get another whole BTC.
Though my shitcoins are still worth a few grand and I have not lost money, I would have been better just buying BTC and holding it.
When it was $200 i was reluctant to buy because people said it was not stable...
When it was $500 i was reluctant to buy because people said it was not stable...
When it was $700, I purchased some and traded altcoins and purchased a BTC mining machine that rapidly became uneconomical to use...
When it was $1000 i was reluctant to buy because people said it was not stable...
When it was $1300 i was reluctant to buy because people said it was not stable...
Then it crashed to $600 then lower to like $300 if i remember correctly...
I didn't buy. and i became less interested. Like many.
Now I am saving for a house and don't want to invest all my money into it, but I want to own at least 2 BTC and 10 ETH because in two years when we build our house, I will probably be kicking myself if I did not buy at least that many.
I might not even have to wait that long to build if the value keeps going up.
Mass adoption is much closer now than it was 3 years ago.
Before central banks were talking it down, countries were trying to make it illegal and people were saying it was worth nothing...
Now 3 years later it is worth way more than an ounce of gold and most people actually know what it is. It is much easier to buy sell and trade... Bill Gates says it is around for good, the FED give it praise, the Japanese govt too... this shit is going to skyrocket.
Though my $2500 BTC went up $300 in 2 days... I expect it to go down to $2000... but it might not... I bought it for in two - three years time when I expect it to be at least $10,000 a coin if not off the charts.
Once true mass adoption occurs, this is when even those that earn $200k+ a year wont be able to afford a whole BTC.
Just get one while you still can.
Seems like you have been in the BTC world for quite some time now, But one thing for sure, if it doesn't go down then it means I'll have to go for altcoins |

The hard part with waiting for too long is the uncertainty that the price is going to reach your buy target. If the price eventually reaches $5,000 and you though that the current price of $2,800 is too expensive, then you would have lost about $2,200 in profit because you didn’t jump onboard. But that is all if’s and but’s and we really don’t know if the price would still be bullish in the next few years or it would succumb to the bears and go down again below $2,000.

That is right all you can do as of the moment is watch and monitor the prices because it is to dangerous to buy at this price point. What I mean about that is you will lose leverage because you won't have a margin of safety when you buy it. Having a margin of safety is important when you are expected to hold your position for a long time before selling it for profit.
You def. right, I personally think buying now involves high risk as you don't know what might happen in the near future, the best thing to do now is to sit, relax and monitor the price. Bitcoin will always be here |
