61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 26, 2017, 10:30:42 AM
I was looking at Cody Wilson's history and company and his team of guys.  I think we should reach out to those guys.  They are all about crypto and libertarianism and the 2A.  Building a smart contract on top of our coin to store and exchange 3D gun design files and insurance policies, etc, may be the next step for us.

Also we need to position GUN as true to the idea of the American experiment.  When people think of gun rights, survival of American ideas of individualism and liberty, they should think of GUN.  I also think we need to gear it to the prepper crowd- why we should also explore reserves- ammunition, food banks, shares in doomsday bunkers.  There's a whole community of preppers out there who are naturally inclined to support crypto.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 26, 2017, 10:21:14 AM
Yes!  Odeyin, good idea!  I have another one.  Let's reach out to Cody Wilson of DefCad and see if we can incorporate GUN into a payment method or build a smart contract blockchain on top of it to store the CAD data files for 3D print designs.

Also, guys check this out:  Florin coin was a failing shit coin.  Then the devs came out with a content payment platform called Alexandria.io.  Then Florincoin started to grow and appreciate and grow a bigger community.  This serves as an example that we cannot sit idle and wait for adoption.  We have to spur it by creating the marketplace for our coin.  I like the insurance idea too.

Let's keep the ideas coming.  And yes, VC money or ICO money is needed.  Seems like VC money might be easier then doing another ICO.  But my point from the beginning was that we need developers and funds if we want to build these ideas out properly.  And since we don't have a slack or an active community of developers, we should try to hire them until we can develop a community and draw devs to our coin through bounties etc...

Support ticket #158911

I have my support ticket memorized given how many times I've had to type it out pleading in the Polo trollbox for an answer.

I initiated my withdrawal on May 16th.  Withdrawal has been pending approval even after I email confirmed it.  I put in a ticket, and requested updates on multiple occasions through email.  No response.  I beg for an update in their troll box and I get no help- I get banned.

I am so fucking angry at this fucking exchange and this motherfucker Tristan.  I hope he gets a long jail sentence.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OGC][ICO]Onegram.org - ONEGRAM Sharia Compliant Gold Backed Cryptocurrency on: May 24, 2017, 03:11:36 PM
The question I pose to you once more:

Is there any other coin out there right now that is affiliated with a religion?  That's all you need to judge yourself by.  But you lack that ability, because you have an irrational belief founded upon fairy tales written over a thousand years ago.  This thinking is incompatible with any kind of successful innovation- why there is no serious religiously affiliated crypto until now.

Again, is there any other religiously affiliated crypto?  That's all we need to know.  And we should judge you, because you have a mental illness that is destructive to yourself and everyone else who has to share a planet with you.

Go ahead, waste your time trying to make a technology to fit your 6th century world view.  The rest of us will focus on real technology, innovation and real ideas.  Nothing valuable to society will come out of this project.  You are just wasting your time and resources to satisfy a thousand year old fairy tale and trying to take advantage of uneducated religious people- why this project is stupid and a bad investment.

I mean it's pretty simple when you stop believing in fairy tales, like you don't have to waste resources inventing a new financial system with lower utility to satisfy conditions someone made up 1500 years ago.
65  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex BTC withdraw "awaiting approval" problems. on: May 24, 2017, 10:27:47 AM
I've been waiting 8 days for a GAME withdrawal.  4 days no response from support ticket.  Something is very wrong with this exchange.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 24, 2017, 08:19:08 AM
Hey guys,

It's much quicker to just send in an anonymous tip to the FBI.  What Poloniex is doing is criminal.  Obviously, there'll be lawsuits.  But it speeds everything up if you get the FBI involved.  The FBI loves this kind of a case.  They will definitely devote resources to it.  One of the largest crypto exchanges is a criminal enterprise stealing customer funds...the FBI will be all over this.  This will make Mt. Gox and Karpeles situation look like a cakewalk.

Send in a tip to the FBI.  You can do it anonymously.

https://tips.fbi.gov/

That's what I'm planning to do.  I'm going to give Polo, Tristan and Co. a few more days and a chance to respond and send my withdrawal.

I still cannot believe how incredibly dumb these people running Polo are.  Their greed and amateurism is going to land them in jail.  What good is stealing coin, front running customers when you'll be in a cell not making any coin for 15 years.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 24, 2017, 07:54:16 AM
Poloniex has the highest fees.  They take 100% until they feel like it.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OGC][ICO]Onegram.org - ONEGRAM Sharia Compliant Gold Backed Cryptocurrency on: May 24, 2017, 07:29:37 AM
This coin is stupid and the idea is dumb.  Should we have Christian compliant coins, Buddhist compliant coins, Hindu compliant coins?

I would never invest in such a stupid and Islamo-Supremacist idea.  Anyone who takes religion this seriously is not serious about crypto and is most likely just trying to make a quick buck.  Take this stupid announcement and put it on a sharia compliant thread.  You see any other religiously motivated/affiliated coins?  That should tell you everything you need to know.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 23, 2017, 09:47:29 PM
So you're going to hold up my GAME withdrawal for 8+ days until after the MobileGo ICO???  Are you punting with my coin?  Are you even holding my GAME still?  Or you planning to sell it hoping to buy it back after the ICO at a lower price and take away MY gain for yourself?  How come support hasn't contacted me in 5+ days?

And why do you advertise 24 hour withdrawals and 72 hour processing for withdrawal approvals?  Why do you not warn customers that you are experiencing very significant withdrawal delays?

Poloniex is acting like a fraudulent exchange and a fraudulent business.  You can bet I'm going to document all my incurred losses and missed gains and your reassurances of 72hr withdrawal processing times.  And if the loss is great enough, you can bet I will expend all my legal options to make myself whole.

This is how good people end up in jail.  Karpeles was also just trying to continue operating.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 23, 2017, 01:12:41 PM
I understand the risk of withdrawal delays.  But the delays have to be reasonable.  I've been waiting now for 7 days, that is an unreasonable amount of time.  Also they state withdrawals are processed with 24 hours and they email automated responses to support tickets saying withdrawals are taking up to 72 hours.

That is egregious.  They should not mislead and dupe customers.  They should clearly the risk of significant withdrawals delays taking "weeks" and customer service responses taking weeks.

If they were upfront and did not mislead me, I would not have initiated the withdrawal.  Now my coin is frozen and I'm on the hook for any price movements.  That is entirely their fault.  And there is no way to reach them.

This tells me everything I need to know about Mt Polo.  Keep acting like this and you're going to lose all your customers.  You think I'm going to deposit anything with you motherf@#kers again?

My hunch is that something terrible is going on at Mt Polo

They are legally based in Delaware, so there's still a way to get the law/courts involved if they decide they can defraud their customers without repercussions.  Send me my f@#king GAME withdrawal.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 23, 2017, 11:35:29 AM
I stated earlier I was part of the ICO as an investor.  I was not involved in doing anything else.  I do remember seeing that website but didn't advertise anything on it.  My relationship was simple, I put money in and waited on the sidelines.  I told you I have been on the sidelines and was not involved in anything but the ICO.

Look, this coin is dead.  The original contributors are already screwed.  I don't think we can screw them further, so a new ICO is not going to hurt anybody- hence, the reason I went through the trouble of setting up an account and trying to feed ideas, start a discussion.  The coin is stuck as a low volume coin.  That's not going to change without a catalyst.

Simply doing an ICO and suckering new people in is not the goal here.  Because, currently, this coin has no demand or purpose.  If it did, it wouldn't be sitting at $20 volume for years, while the most asinine of coins are seeing $200K volume.  I think we should only do another ICO if we're seriously going to make some changes or provide a breakthrough offering.  We'd have to do it right, whitepaper, slack, development roadmap, a real media campaign...

But again, we need a breakthrough offering.  We're talking about the 2A community.  This is the most loyal community out there and we're so damn inept that we can't come up with a solution here.  I remember Dabs from the ICO, may be he has some out of the box ideas.

I'm not trying to antagonize you.  Don't take it personally.  I'm just trying to convince you that we need a huge shift and the status quo is unacceptable.  We can build a real community here, just don't want us to waste the opportunity.

Maybe we should build a payment portal that makes it easier for merchants to use credit cards.  Or we set up a gun brokering/exchange website that takes a percentage of transactions.  We need an offering.  Simply maintaining a blockchain isn't enough.  Honestly, there is no reason to use GUN when you can use Bitcoin or Monero, cash, etc...And who in their right mind would transact in a low volume coin.  Maybe you need to find developers to add to the team.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 22, 2017, 10:39:46 PM
Just look at this thread.  It's a replay of someone in the community imploring for action- And a dev swatting down idea after idea and sticking with the status quo and telling us 20 people still holding the coin to do more.  Doing more starts at the top and you seem to not be doing much or encouraging much.  And yes, you are just sitting there while the coin sees $20 volume per day.  Our market cap has been stuck at under $50k for years...for years.

Ok, so you think credit card processors is an area of opportunity, why don't we build a payment portal.  I feel like I'm trying to encourage a 5 year old here to do something.  If you don't have time or skills to put into this coin, you should find another developer or get some help by seeking devs to add to the community.  And don't you dare put the fault on ICO contributors for not doing more, we paid in thousands of dollars in cash, that's more than you can say you've done the past year.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 22, 2017, 09:14:58 PM
I already told you I wasn't involved in the past.  Beating a dead horse doesn't help.  What I did do was contribute my hard earned money to an ICO so I can watch a dev sit on his ass, do nothing but swat down ideas and say it's been tried before, and feel good about being a gatekeeper to a dead coin.  Currently there is no site and there is and will be no serious interest to set up a site.  If you haven't figured that out by now...  Are you the only developer?
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 22, 2017, 07:32:41 PM
I have been waiting since May 16th for a GAME withdrawal on Mt. Polo

My withdrawal is time-sensitive.  They say withdrawals are approved within 72 hours.  That is a complete lie.

I've created a support ticket, I've emailed asking for an update.  There has been ZERO communication from them.  It's been 6 days and no response with withdrawal awaiting approval.

Again my withdrawal is time sensitive and I am experiencing financial harm because of this.  If this causes me financial harm great enough, I will take you to court in Delaware or wherever you are.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 22, 2017, 10:58:11 AM
I read that coindesk link on the SEC, etc...

I still see many multi-million ICOs with respected securities law firms conducting ICOs as "crowdfunds," "crowdsales," "fundraisers," etc...

We can't shit our pants everytime the SEC writes a memo, and we can't use it as an excuse.  There are gradients to every legal issue.

Look dude, we can either change direction here or we'll be sitting here next year when a better team comes out with a coin that beats us.  Either way, we'll be sitting here watching as GUN has $.75 in volume on a good day.  I'm not a developer, so I don't claim to know everything, but I do know that this coin is not where it needs to be or can be.  And we need to change our gameplan.

We need to think about an ICO that funds a gun exchange/website where people can buy things and advertize their guns, etc... we need a slack, developers, a community .... otherwise this coin will stay dead.  When I see a joke coin like PEPE CASH with $8million+ market cap and lots of volume ...I think why are we going nowhere...it may just be that our situation is hopeless and we lack developers/community to do anything to change our situation.  One benefit of an ICO is that it lets you fund the development of websites/community.  Asking people to fund stuff personally and take financial risk isn't going to work.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 22, 2017, 10:43:27 AM
Yes, may be the ammunition reserve does not make economic sense.  I agree with you there.

But, we need to come up with some ideas here.  I feel gun folks would rather transact in cash or gold than GUN.  They have no reason to use GUN when there are other options.

People don't just "come to our coin."  We can't just sit and wait.  And pushing financial risk off on someone else to start brokering ammo is not equitable.  We have to do things as a community and INCENTIVIZE or kick start adoption and create a reason for people to use GUN.

We do that by having a base, creating a reason for people to adopt.  I suggest we do an ICO where we take the proceeds and either start a gun exchange/brokering website, start selling shares in bunkers or ammunition reserves or food banks for preppers or something that will create incentives for a base of users to form and adopt the coin.  Right now we need proceeds and adoption and developers.

With POT, the incentive was to get around banks declining dispensaries.  That was a real need, a real problem to be solved.  Weed businesses with chunky revenue diversified risk and bought into the coin.  I just don't see firearm businesses having problems opening bank accounts for their businesses.  BUT, I can see firearm businesses wanting to stay the hell away from guncoin due to fear of harming their current banking relationships.

Therefore, trying to get firearms businesses and customers to conduct commerce in GUN doesn't make sense.  We have to target the consumer side, not the merchant side if we want to start adoption.

Guncoin is a dead coin, low volume, been years and nobody uses it, on less exchanges than the first week.  We have to stop being so complacent and let's figure this out.  The status quo is unacceptable, we need a radical change here.  The coin will go nowhere unless we act to jumpstart adoption.  Mining and maintaining the current network isn't going to change anything.  Fretting about SEC and securities laws doesn't help.  Laws are gray in this area as they were regarding the internet and telecom in the 90s- that's how it's always been.  If everyone sat in their living room afraid to do anything because of the SEC and regulations we wouldn't have Apple, PayPal, Uber or Bitcoin.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 20, 2017, 05:53:46 PM
Yes, this is my first post.  I invested in the ICO, and have been watching on the sidelines mostly.

The only thing got me to post was seeing the huge increases in value in crypto with almost no change in GUN.  That gave me proof in my head that this is a dead coin and we have to do something or all our money (in my case) and hardwork (others) will go to waste.

Am I guilty of not putting in work?  Yes.  But that is the point of an ICO and crypto - investors can join and support a coin financially if they don't have time or ability to support the coin.

I appreciate your feedback and calm analysis.  This tells me you are open to improving the coin and are also rightfully frustrated with a lack of help.  I do agree with you there.

In regards to the ammo reserve, that is tough for any user to implement on their own, but doable.

However, I think we are at the point where we need to decide that increasing exposure and community size with a new ICO may be worth the 6 months effort.  I think we should explore setting up an ammo reserve, a physical reserve, like Tether, backed by ammunition or firearms.  Lots of people live in jurisdictions where they cannot own certain ARs or amounts of ammunition.  We can set up a reserve in 2A friendly states like Arizona or Alaska.

Just look at the Zr ICO- they are about to raise $3.5 million to set up a mining company that they don't even have yet.

Gun enthusiasts like the idea of having their GUN backed by something.  If we can even get some ratio backing, that would give us the support and community we need.  People would feel a lot more comfortable putting $10,000 into a coin backed with a .05 or .20 ratio or whatever to real ammunition.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: May 20, 2017, 05:49:28 AM
Hello fellow 2A defenders,
I have watched this coin go nowhere since the ICO.

I propose we start to think outside the box and let go of certain rigid dogmas that are hurting the cause.

What we need:
1.) A large growing community using the coin and developing for the coin.
2.) Create an environment of price appreciation.
3.) Stay true to our ideals of a creating a government and corporate proof method to transact in the firearm space.
4.) Think global.  This world would be a better place if everyone had gun rights.  We need to promote this.
5.) Create a connection with the real world.  May be we can set up our own ammunition reserve or something to allow people to buy the coin backed by something they may not be able to store at home, etc.

ETH is at $12billion.  ICOs are succeeding.  This is the time to act.

I propose we hold another ICO, advertize, get new people involved in GUN and that we propose something greater to offer than a low volume coin nobody uses.  We need a white paper and good ideas for the future of the coin.

Holders of the current coin would get a 1:1 exchange of the new token.  We can set up a "hard reserve" as well as the coin.  We can use proceeds from the ICO to create an ammunition reserve.  Where GUN could be exchanged for ammunition, etc.

We can be better than POT, if we try.  There is no reason we can't be at $21million today like POT.  Why are we stuck as a low volume coin at ~50k?HuhHuh  We are all "the dev" and we all gotta do something because this coin about to die.
