When they talk about future money, for some reason "money of a new generation" is often added. What do these words mean "the new generation" as applied to money? How does the "old generation" differ from the "new" generation?
For example, in computers, the generation change is understandable, and in the field of money it is incomprehensible. Can someone intelligibly and intelligently explain to me the difference between generations of money?
I think that this question is actually much deeper and more interesting than it seems at first glance, because it gives us a deeper understanding of the very essence of money.

All my coins are badly red! I know...Hold and blabla...but jeez...i was away just few days ;/
Now everything again turned red just a day after the green charts. And literally an hour ago everything came back. In general there is a full test of our patience and nerves, the strongest and richest will remain. |

Is anyone concerned with this drop in bitcoin? I've only just jumped on the bandwagon and i've lost 10%-30% of my value already. I'm new to the market and enjoyed a good bit of stability and upward graphs for a little bit, so I thought it was mostly positive. Is this jump down a typical trend that results in pushing for highs again? or do you reckon it can be backlash of people shying away coming nearer August 1st?
I'm unsure if to try cash the coins to another altcoin or something to try gain some more value back or just hold for a while.
Well, not much worries, although the impact when falling on all other coins and IСO is noticeable. But while bitcoin has stabilized a little and now you can safely trade without nerves. |

I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.
How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?
I think to repel my investments by the end of this year, and not through 2. Though I hope that it will continue to reach the level of 2k or 3k, because there is much to develop and show a positive effect. |

A question of a beginner, I read several articles that say better invest in bitcoin only (most of articles are from 2015-2016), but as bitcoin exceeds now $2500, I do not know if this rule still holds.

I had purchased around $50 worth Etherium few months back.Now the Etherium price is very high.
I could make a profit of around $15... Is this the best time to sell.
Will long term investment be fruitful ?

With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.
I try a little, and why not if the market conditions permit it. I have some free money that, in my opinion, should work and not rest therefore I invest. |

For some reason it got locked which is a mystery in itself but hey I respect that. Now I'm posting this thread for the discussions started in that very thread to continue. If you were around at the time did you buy some XMR for yourself and lock it away? I mean 1000 XMR for $250 wasn't so much. Anyone could have dropped some into it and it absolutely made sense at the time as it does today to use that coin The coin is simply such a good one It took 3 years and we see how the monero became more powerful 12 times. If you kept a thousand coins then it would have made a huge profit now. This project is very good and further it will also continue to develop and grow. |
