I would like to know a bit more about fiat trading pairs in txbit.io exchange.
1) Will it only have USDT or something more?
2) How many types of trading pairs integrated into txbit.io exchange as the Solaris team's plan at the moment?

There won't be any real FIAT pairing due to the KYC-less nature of the exchange. txbit will be strictly crypto to crypto. USDT as a base market is being considering as well, details will be provided at a later date. Current confirmed base markets will be BTC, ETH and XLR. |

I am waiting for the next weekly report of Solaris team to see how the developmental progress constructed this week.
Hope that txbit.io exchange will be launched in the September, the first month of fourth quarter, this year.

Just checked the Solaris github and I saw 810000 premined. Does it mean the team controls more than half of the current supply?

support question... had some funky stuff going on of late. Lots of orphans... like 10 in a row... tried to spin up a MN (have had one before) because the staking not going so well... and my block height is 361083 consistently when using the getinfo command in VPS
I'm considering doing a re-sync... Ive opened closed the wallet a bit of late to hopefully correct the staking issues... doesnt seem to be doing the job

Despite of massive marketing campaigns recently on diversified channels, the price of Solaris has stayed at lows.
Any one knows what really happen with Solaris project?
Nothing happened with the Project, we are hard at work on txbit. The price is affected by the bear market, and now with BTC rising all alts are crashing because people are selling to ride the BTC wave. This is crypto 101. Wash, rinse, repeat. |

My Solaris Wallet won't load now.
Hoping you good people can help me again!
I had my computer off for a month or so while I was moving. It worked fine previously... I had / still have the latest version installed (2.8.0.0).
These are the error messages I get:
1. SOLARIS CORE - ERROR. Failed reading from database. pcoinsTip best block is not correct. The block database is in an inconsistent state and may cause issues in the future. To force start use -forcestart.
2. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way...
What do I need to do to get the wallet running again, please?!?
This is what happens when you forcibly close the wallet when it asks you to wait for it to close. You can solve it by removing all data from the data directory except wallet.dat. Then start the wallet and let it sync again. Never ever ignore that screen that says "Do not close" again. Advice: Some people tend to logoff or shutdown when the wallet is running. Windows wont wait for the wallet to close properly which can lead to this behaviour. Thank you very much, *keesdewit and *schyter. Forgive my ignorance... what exactly is included in the "data directory"? I know - a very dumb question - but I honestly don't know what you mean exactly by "all data in the data directory." I found a bunch of Solaris Wallet files and folders by typing %appdata%/Solaris. (folders: "backups, blocks, chainstate, database, sporks, zerocoin + several files). Seriously XLR is one the best coin i ever seen , stable, ultra quick, perfect dev... just don't understand why there not so much marketing around that ?
its been like that since the begining. mostl community driven. They should have a budget for that... Solaris with somme marketing can skyrocket Marketing has been on-going. All our social channels have been growing in numbers for the last 2 months... but it's hard to make someone interested when market sentiment is so bad and there is no "new" people entering the space. |

Personally, my wallet has staked for several days, which equal to more than one week, and different addresses in my wallet got different wave of staking rewards.
The period between two continuous rewards are almost the same for addresses with the same staking weights (by owning the same amount of Solaris).
By the way, as the Solaris roadmap shown, the txbit.io exchange might be released in the fourth quarter of the year 2018. I hope that the exchange will be launched a bit sooner, might be in the third quarter this year.

what? I read in January that txbi.io will start in June. So again change of the date? That's why the price dump so much Learn2read then. There was no statement that txbit.io will go live in June... it was always Q3 for beta, Q4 for full release. |

Everything has been going great, getting my MN and Staking rewards on a regular basis, but just this morning i noticed that randomly 159.73 of my coins went to Immature status, I made zero changes and these coins had been under Available until now.
Any idea what may have caused this? And I assume my first step in troubleshooting would be to reindex the wallet?

When you stake some coins, that input that was staked goes to "Immature status" until it is mature again. This take 102 confirmations. There is no need to do anything, just one of your piles staked. |

I wanted to start staking but i don't want to keep my computer open 24/7 so i surrendered.. But now i discover Raspberry Pi and I'm thinking to buy a new one.. Is there a guide out there on how to start staking /install wallet there?

Suddenly, I have a problem to open my wallet on mac high sierra today. It quits unexpectedly during 'loading block index...', but yesterday everything used to work. Does anyone have the same problem?
This could be caused by closing the wallet incorrectly/unexpectedly. You can fix it by re-syncing the blockchain from scratch. Here are the instructions: 1. Stop/shutdown your wallet client if it is running. 2. Go to Win: %appdata%/solaris/ OR Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Solaris/ Command+shift+g put: ~/Library/Application Support/Solaris then click GO 3. Delete all files and folders EXCEPT backups, folder, wallet.dat, solaris.conf and masternode.conf (DO NOT DELETE backups folder, wallet.dat, solaris.conf and masternode.conf) 4. Start your wallet client and let it sync again. |
