Seriously XLR is one the best coin i ever seen , stable, ultra quick, perfect dev... just don't understand why there not so much marketing around that ?

its been like that since the begining. mostl community driven.

They should have a budget for that... Solaris with somme marketing can skyrocket

Over 58% of circulating supply of Solaris locked in those active masternodes.
https://masternodes.online/currencies/XLR
Solaris has 786 masternodes online and it has been around this number of nodes for many weeks now
I guess these guys will keep HODLing their coins for sure.
They invested into Solaris masternodes because they have strong belief on Solaris potential.
They don't have reason to sell XLRs around $3-4.
Quote
even though the market is down and has been for months now, Solaris nodes have stayed steady which is a good sign that people really support the project long term which is what Solaris is a long term project.

Marketing has been on-going. All our social channels have been growing in numbers for the last 2 months... but it's hard to make someone interested when market sentiment is so bad and there is no "new" people entering the space.

Passive marketing campaigns are better option at the current bearish market.
In contrast, when bullish market come, Solaris team should actively created new campaigns on different channels to help boosting Solaris up.

If XLR will be real payment tool it could grow even in bearish market.
Can I by something using XLR?
When it will be embedded in some market platforms as alternative currency?
We should think of it Roll Eyes

More than one month, it is not too long.
I can wait for it.
In August, I hope that the whole market will pass over bearish period and start growing, Solaris will follow the common trend ^^

Masternode investors will play important role in the future price movements of Solaris.
It is mainly because they own huge amount of Solaris.

After bouncing back significantly, the price of Solaris fell again to below $3.
I don't really understand why people kept selling at lows, and why Solaris fell to such very low price range.
It's unbelievable to witness such very good coin drop too deep.

Against the background of the fall of the main cryptocurrency, all altcoins go to the bottom.

Against the background of the fall of the main cryptocurrency, all altcoins go to the bottom.
I don't know why lots of Solaris masternode investors have still locked their coins in masternodes, not sold them to get their original money back.
Because it is profitable to keep the node in the long term and the price of the coin will return and break through the former peaks.

Many people mined enough for a masternode (or several masternodes) long before Solaris even had them, so the original cost was just for electricity and that was paid back long ago.  Then other people that may have bought near the peak price don't want to take a big loss by selling now; it's better to wait for the exchange to launch and the coin to go up once people realize they can get double benefits from a XLR Masternode at that point.

I always see people bringing up the price falling here, everything is falling in price not just Solaris. Its still going to take some time before we start to see a recovery and that is when we should see Solaris start to rise again but in the meantime we all need to be patient and that goes for almost all the coins out there.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Agree with your point, @vella85.
Most of altcoins dropped dramatically recent weeks due to massively long-term corrections of bitcoin.
Solaris has followed the common trend, it's normal to see it happened.

As you predicted, Solaris will rise again when bearish market gone away.
And, in the meantime before the launch day of txbit.io exchange, we all should stay clam and stay away from FUDs to HODL our coins as tight as possible and don't sell at lows to Fudsters.

My Solaris Wallet won't load now.

Hoping you good people can help me again!

I had my computer off for a month or so while I was moving. It worked fine previously... I had / still have the latest version installed (2.8.0.0).

These are the error messages I get:

1. SOLARIS CORE - ERROR. Failed reading from database. pcoinsTip best block is not correct. The block database is in an inconsistent state and may cause issues in the future. To force start use -forcestart.

2. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way...

What do I need to do to get the wallet running again, please?!?

This is what happens when you forcibly close the wallet when it asks you to wait for it to close.

You can solve it by removing all data from the data directory except wallet.dat. Then start the wallet and let it sync again. Never ever ignore that screen that says "Do not close" again.

Advice: Some people tend to logoff or shutdown when the wallet is running. Windows wont wait for the wallet to close properly which can lead to this behaviour.

Do exactly as Keez says above.
If you run a Masternode, You can also leave your masternode.conf and your solaris.conf if you don't want to go through the trouble of resetting them up.
Wallet.dat must never be deleted
