What happened guys, i was mining very good with v.11.4 with the fixed stale shares and everything was great 1-2 % stale shares. But now (12 hours already) i got 8-12 % stale shares and nothing was changed. Is there any problem with ethermine ?
Anyone else noticed doubled stale shares last 12 hours ?
Same here, restarted everything and still registering double stales. Conclusion would be that Ethermine is having some issues or very high fluctuation in hash-rate. But one thing is certain, the time of uploading a share has increased from 40ms to 60ms now (without any hardware, software or bandwidth changes). some of ethermine miners only facing high stale shares problem.now i have changed my pool its fine now (from ethermine to nanopool), iam getting 0-1% stales now |

Could be a script in the page that is causing it to overwork.
There could be a webpage miner embedded?
Best thing to do is download an adblock extension that also blocks mining scripts.

i am using ubuntu 16.04. Why my cpu working @100% when i am opening etc.ethermine pool dashboard, and not in remaining browsing times? at the time of normal browsing it tooks around 10-20%. I checked this on htop. please let me know any solution. my laptop is getting more heat at that time.

ya i updated today i found a tremendous change. now i am getting around 1-2% stale shares.very happy to say.excellent move by claymore.

Latency's most likely the issue you're getting, or an unreliable internet connection (I'm guessing it's the former). Ethermine seems to be having stale share issues anyways (perhaps their Stratum servers are overloaded?). I'd personally try moving to a different pool temporarily to make sure the issue isn't on your end, though I'm pretty positive the issue lies in Ethermine rather than your connection.

I AM MINING ETC @207MH/SEC TO EU1-ETC.ETHERMINE.ORG .i am getting correct shares@160-180shares/hr and getting 6-10% stale shares.is there any way to reduce stale shares .

is windows 10 is new version? manytimes blockchain driver is not working good with new win10 os. try new driver 18.2.1. it will help u.i have same problem when i installed new driver it solved.

10hrs isnt enough.
i get no devfee errors. been running about 3 days straight at this point. on an 8GPU rig making 228MH/s
try adding "-coin eth" to your startup bat file
is there any power difference in your previous miner and phoenix miner? |

when i am opening .bat file the miner starts and closes automatically, i have read readme.txt and all miner options are set as mentioned.here is my .bat file

Damn thats low. On my 150mh/s rig I'm getting around 140 shares per hour. If it comes to any consolidation, I have noticed, that there are some period of time, when the miner is submitting a lot of found shares. Yesterday for example I had a 2 hours timeframe in which my miner was able to submit 392 shares. I left it for overnight and in the end it was again around 140shares per hours for 150mh/s. I have also noticed some periods, for example 2-3 minutes, where I'm only getting results of my mining power and temp/fan speeds and 0 shares! And then times where for 1 min or 2 I'm able to submit 13+ shares  The internet speed is not that relevant - my connection is 35mbps download and 15mbps upload. Just spent some time in front of it if you want and you will notice that the speed is not really consistent. thanks for reply, i agree with you but it is not one hour/two hour problen i am facing continuously from past 15 days.if i am getting more ping time all shares are going to stales see my graph and shares https://etc.ethermine.org/miners/1d4feb6e2e33913a461889fe9391b2b1ca08d55f . i have used phoniexminer @2.x version (no increase in hashrate) is it now good and also then i used overdriventool to set all settings (msi AB is not working in latest drivers) what are you using for settings? give me your pool link i will see the shares |

i am mining ETC(classic) coin on claymore dual miner 10.6 and amd latest driver Adrenalin Edition 18.1.1 and also on latest windows 10 OS.
mb-asrock h110 pro btc+
processor-pentium g4400
ram-fury ddr4 2133 4gb
RX570 4gb gigabyte-7cards
power suply -1600watt
i am getting 206mh/sec @900watt i got around 180-190 shares/hour till two weeks ago.but from two weeks i am only getting around 150 shares (no change in the hardware not even touched).
my network speed is 8Mbps download and 1Mbps upload.
i have connected to eu1-etc.ethermine.org pool.
is there any solution? help me,

I have been running a 3 GPU rig with RX 580s, mining ETH, and it's been very stable. I had a 4th card that I wanted to add, and it was crashing until i realized I needed to enable Above 4G decoding. So that worked, and I now can run all 4.
The only thing is, they all used to get 22 Mh/s, and now they are down to about 17. What is going on?
Other details:
- mobo is asus prime Z270-P.
- I'm using risers for all the cards.
- I have 8 GB ram and set the virtual memory to 16GB min.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Do you check the risers? for what? do ddu and install amd new driver and change to compute from graphics in amd settings and run. |
