1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: COINLENDERS - REMAINING DEPOSITORS on: December 07, 2013, 02:59:42 PM
Dorpsgek, here's my info:

1: CL Balance - 3.6 BTC
2: on the original thread : YES
3. settled : NO
3: lawsuit: YES

After some emails TF started responding. I emailed back and forth with TF to negotiate a settlement, his first email contained a 1 BTC mistake, apparently a CD deposit got calculated as a withdrawal. TF corrected this and I got his final offer which was about 10 % of my balance. I did not settle for this disrespectful amount.
2  Bitcoin / Mining support / RPI and Bitburner X detection trouble on: December 05, 2013, 06:01:49 AM
Hmm I set up my RPI with Raspian and cgminer but it does not seem to detect the connected Bitburner X. It does detect and work well with the connected Chili.

Before I tried Minepeon and it also did not seem to see the Bitburner, am I missing something?

Still in:

3.48 without interest
3.66 with interest

Got offered ~10-15% of BTC, did not accept this disrespectful offer.

I just want to say that I am willing to give 26.7962 BTC TF shamefully gave me back to person who provide me with TFs identity and picture
My peace offering is that he use same ratio he used on DF and by that calculation he should have sent me 46.48468 Just to remind everybody I had 222.7BTC at time of "Hack". He already knows that.
This is the address I keep my coins on 1Martaybpu5UtqQtynMMDdFTi3pbZ9XzZk and this post has been signed with it to prove my ownership over coins.

Please PM me! I think those funds will be better used to pursue criminal charges against TF and hiring a private investigator.

Others in this thread who's talking to TF to "settle". DO NOT!

Seems like TF thinks he can get away with returning little of the funds as possible. You can see this attitude by him responding to your inquiries only when the price of BTC takes a hit. Also consider the fact that although he is trying to return your BTC in fiat money worth, he is still asking his borrowers to return fully in BTC. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

We should also be setting a message. BTC is no longer play money. Just like how we were able to charge Travis Wright with his ponzi scheme, we should be able to charge TF with his failed insurance deposits. This needs to bring media attention so that we can help legitimize BTC and send a warning to other scammers that yes you will get caught, and yes you will be behind bars.

I cannot say this strongly enough. DO NOT SETTLE. Don't let TF get away.

+1 on the warning and BTC no longer play money

I was offered ~15% to settle and sign away my rights, for that percentage I would rather join forces and try to send out a message and so possibly stabilizing the Bitcoin economy. Scams like this have a bad effect on the community and Bitcoin as a legitimate financial instrument.

Does anybody know if there has been a reaction to the situation by the Bitcoin Foundation?

Do we have any idea of his real life identity? We can get together a bounty?

18  Economy / Services / Re: BTCMiners "Cloud Hashing" | $8.50 USD per GH/s! on: November 14, 2013, 02:13:06 AM
You're right, maybe I shouldn't be presuming that.

But how do you feel about possible delivery issues with the miners?

To me it seems pretty obvious from the AdvanceMiners thread that they have not delivered any devices yet from the last batch and that people are using paypal buyer protection to get their money back.
19  Economy / Services / Re: BTCMiners "Cloud Hashing" | $8.50 USD per GH/s! on: November 13, 2013, 04:00:33 PM
Guys, I went through the AdvanceMiners thread (company apparently supplying the miners) and I do not think they will deliver:

Quote
The above are e-mails sent back and forth between myself and AMT regarding my order placed on 2 October.
It is now 6 November, and though I've been told twice to expect shipment, this has not occurred. As of this morning, I still do not have a tracking number, nor has the company reached out to me to explain it's failure to do so. I would have been more willing to hang in a little longer if the company had communicated.

I would advise others to stay away until this company gets it's act together.

I believe AMT will be able to produce product based on what has been presented so far and based on Marto's vouching for them, but I also believe that they are far away from doing so.

My estimation is that you have a bunch of talented guys way in over their head with absolutely no idea as to how to properly run a business.

It bothers me that they can find time to bid on an auction elsewhere on this forum in an attempt to get more bitfury chips, but can't take the time to respond to customer requests, advise on late shipping, or keep their website updated aside from raising the prices. (see their forum post below)

Let's call the Auction over at 18:00, it was daylight savings yesterday and people could get confused.

http://news.discovery.com/human/life/dangers-of-daylight-savings-time-131103.htm

I filed with Paypal this morning and received a refund of my full purchase price. I hope others have better luck.

It is obvious that BTCMiner did not do any research prior to stating that he has no reason to suspect otherwise.

So far there has been no reason to suspect otherwise.  We have had many of communications with various staff members from their sales department and they have done nothing to make me suspect any worse than when I had ordered from BFL, yet here I am looking at my BFL units hashing away.

In addition.. As I've said before, if you go back a page or two.. There is a blockchain.info link with a wallet address.  All money that has been received for orders are saved.  No money will be lost, and if for some reason AM doesn't deliver, everyone will receive a refund.

Besides this, the style of writing of both OPs (Advanceminers and BTCMiner) seems quite similar to me. Which mean that OP got smarter and does not accept paypal anymore and you will not get a refund.

I will not put any BTC into this.
