Hello everyone, I know this a shitpost, but I'd like to become a Member, but I need 5 Merit. In what way can I get these 5 Merits?
First, you should stop posting like this, participate in the discussion is the best way, and not asking for anything, I was the same as you before thinking how will I ever get merit I want to rank up, then I started to check, how it works, from there I just started to join the conversation in the forum, making an informative post, a few months later I rank up, without me knowing, I know how you are eager to go up but trust me it will come eventually.

I think golden years should not only be determined by the price or value of coins during the years but how they improve, upgrade, and the usage of a certain technology or blockchain in a business, I must say that every year crypto is getting more and more attention to the world so it's hard to say if 2017 is already the golden year

The higher you set the fee's once you have sent a transaction there is the chance that you will be first in line, meaning sending transaction will be faster, try to set your fee's at low and it will take hours or a day, that is the reason why they set fees at a higher one.

There might be two answers for your question, transaction Fee's and Exchange lets break it down but this is just my opinion
The fee's when we do trade there is always fee's attached to every trade, even a small amount gets fee's sometimes higher than the value of your coin, but it would be an insane high transaction fee's so this is might not the answer for sure. The second one is the exchange or the application you are using, this might be the culprit of why that takes so much from the amount of your coin, so it might be the transaction fee, and the amount the application your using is getting an extra commission, from the value of your coin, so before trading or using an application make sure you have read their terms and condition because it will cost you a lot, like what happened to you.

Seen ethereum in the top 3 the only thing that is close to overtaking ethereum would be ripple at the moment they are banging the top 3 spots with bitcoin, we all know bitcoin is here to stay in the top 1, if you ever read the news or the coinmarketcap list of top coins there is one-time ripple gain top 2 but it was just very brief stay, and ethereum just get it back after just like a day or hours if I'm not mistaken, so ripple is my 1st candidate for that.

This is like a racing game where you bet on the car's color, in this you are betting on the is it marble? I guess games in real-world is really transforming into digital games, if you are familiar with the arcades in the mall, they are the same betting on a ball or animal-like, and given the tokens or coins to the winner, this is very interesting

One of the purposes of the forum is to discuss exchange information from other members, also there is a section for your country, where you can discuss make a topic that is related to cryptocurrency, other sections like services are where there are campaigns and members join although there is a certain requirement, it all depends on the member on what he/she want's if you want to earn its okay as long as you do it the right way, as long as you follow the rules and regulation, its good

the easiest way to up rank is to get 'merit'... The post above explains a lot and you just have to do the rest. I am curious about how you got to this forum?? if there is a friend who told you, you should ask your friends to teach you about the best way to make posts and also the rules that should not be broken.
Yes, you can rank up with merit but, you have to get the average active per rank, for example, op should at least have 30 posts or activity and 1 merit to be a junior right, the next one is to have 60 post/activity and 50 merits to be a member, the next one is to have 120 posts/activity and a 100 merit, okay let's just stop there for a moment, it does not mean you have to post and spam for a 30 to 100 post like for a 1-3 day span of time, the most important thing is that you post, and with quality one, not just congrats, I agree to post, make every post count, make it readable and gets the attention of our high-rank member and others, it will help you rank up fast, because if the other member so how good your post and helpful, you don't have to think of merits anymore, they will come down pouring at you with even saying or talking about it, just make a very good and interesting post, and let it speak by itself.

op is correct its always the problem of some investors, being greedy, they tend to invest everything once they have seen a lot of money being generated, which sometimes may result to lose all their money together with the profit they have gained, no matter how big or small don't forget to make a profit and save it, keep the capital and play with the profit.,

I also say some makes coin bitcoin silver or btcs as they say, then make it as an airdrop, they will give like a couple of thousand pieces of it and to have the coin you need to deposit 3 dollars in BTC, for newcomers op is right don't just buy make sure it bitcoin, and not other coins, who will just steal money from you.

here are I think issues for beginners in crypto
1. they are excited - being excited is okay but since you are eager to jump right into, you forget that you are there to earn money and just buy everything without even doing research.
2. You don't know how to control your emotion since you just started and bought a promising coin may be, the price started to go down with that you panic and don't know correction in crypto, after a few days it gone up 20x and you regret it, never follow emotions in trading.
3. Buying coins that promise a good profit, this happens in me before.
4. Holding coins too long your money just sleeping and doing nothing in your wallet, you miss a great opportunity holding to something that never really has a future.
I guess this is some newbies are the biggest issue, you can correct me if I'm wrong in my statements,

bitcoin is already being accepted in other countries and I think since there are a lot of companies being curious about it we a looking at something more precious than gold, or gem in the world right now, as we are already in a digital era. most people don't know about it but sooner or later they are going to acknowledge it.

This will make users hesitant to use mobile phone for their wallet especially android, with software flooding the internet, if users won't double-check what they are downloading, it might steal millions of dollars, from users, I don't know why google won't do something about it, they can check if it's really legit, I guess we just have to check ourselves, thank you for this information.

A friend told me few weeks ago to keep my assets in exchange because if the exchange got hacked or my assets are misplaced, the exchange will bear the lose and refund my assets. Just yesterday, someone told me it's a lie that most exchange will go bankrupt if that should happen. I'm really confused right now. More experienced members should please enlighten me.
A very bad idea to keep your token or coin in the exchange there is a risk in doing so first, if the exchange gets hack your money is gone, I mean everything in there will be lost, then the exchange withdrawal will be disabled no deposit either, then the investigation will take place, remember how long will it take for the result, and there is no guarantee they will return 100% of the value you were kept there, the best thing is to keep it where you have keys, your personal wallet yea you need to transfer it with the fee but you are sure that its safe, forget about the small amount of fee's, at least your safe, remember on what other is saying " not your keys not your coins" this is always important.

yes this is true I have seen the post of my friends on Facebook and someone already falls into this trick, we should be aware, thank you for bringing this to our attention, this will save a lot of people and will not steal their money, I have there is something that Google can do about this like checking if it's really legit but for now we just have to be very careful, or we are going to suffer in the future.
