There's a 750 bitsend ($280) reward for a cuda miner.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 getting 58+ mh/s per card on Ethereum mining / modded nvidia drivers on: August 29, 2017, 09:22:36 AM
A GTX 1070 is close to its theoretical limit when mining at 30-32 MH/s with tdp at 100%, sure it sounds viable someone would find a way to push it to 35 or even 40 but not by only messing with the driver and not touching the mining software.

If not a scam, perhaps try to hand out even a single copy of the driver to a reputable forum member for review?
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will bitcoin do in market crash 3.0? on: August 29, 2017, 09:13:41 AM
It might be a good idea to add gold to any portfolio for when a crash would occur. It has been a safe haven in the last financial crisis so even for that reason alone people might be looking to move money to gold and silver again which will make it go up (somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy).

In any case the biggest losses will be made hodling fiat.

For my perspective think that it wont be effect at least not that much ok it might go down but bottom line for support think it will be around 3000-3200 $ per bitcoin.

So if crash comes price might go to this line.

A long term bear trend in BTC/crypto's would easily push BTC sub $2500 imho, we were sub $2000 just a couple of weeks ago.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 29, 2017, 09:00:39 AM
100 years is so long, everything can change in this time period. I think that bitcoin will survive but it's role will be different. It can became a world currencie or it can even be mostly forgotten and replaced by another crypto coin. But I'm pretty sure that we will see bitcoin growing in the next 10 years.

I agree, either it'll be worth more than we can imagine or it'll be non existent.
100 years ago nobody even heard of a computer, in 20 years quantum computers might be mainstream and be able to break all wallets' private keys.

I do imagine cryptocurrencies in some form being around though, probably the base of the entire financial system.
85  Economy / Speculation / What will bitcoin do in market crash 3.0? on: August 29, 2017, 08:49:22 AM
The trading market is moving like no crisis ever happened, many are convinced we are overdue for a global financial crash 3.0.
In such an event, will people move towards BTC like they run to gold and silver in such times? Or will bitcoin suffer as well?

You can see the ~8year bull bear cycle in the SP500 index, all it needs now is a trigger to turn the trend around.

Just GPU's at this point but I'd like to get some s9's & L3+.
How long is the waiting period at this time?

88  Other / Off-topic / Re: i got 2x 10-13 year old PC - What should I do with them? on: August 26, 2017, 06:32:20 PM
0. Put an SSD in them. Don't know how? Google it lazy bastard.
1a. Put linux on it and learn about linux
1b. Put windows server on one and use the other as a client and learn/follow tutorials
1c. Put a legit windows licence on them via kinguin and sell to family for a cheap half decent PC
2. Use your newfound skills to make money.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miner electricity bills on: August 26, 2017, 05:33:50 PM
0,187$/kWh excl. VAT for industrial connection in Belgium, normal house prices are around 0,28$/kWh.
90  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do during a panic attack? on: August 26, 2017, 05:24:55 PM
Having had some bad panic attacks I can give some advice.

-Try to avoid having constant stress for a longer period of time, I know this might not be easy/possible depending on your situation.
-Don't try to avoid every stressy situation or you'll become locked in your house and it'll get worse.
-I have a breathing routine that I start whenever I feel an attack coming up (read this http://www.anxietycoach.com/breathingexercise.html)
-I take prescribed betablockers when I have to do something very stressful, which helps tremendously. I dose very low to diminish side effects but takes the edge off.
-Eat healty, sleep enough (7+ hours, 5 hours is not enough for anyone no matter what you think), exercise properly at least twice a week. (more important than you'd think)

And how do you do a trip around the earth?
You people don't travel often do you  Grin?

Hold a compass flat, and it always points North.

It's as simple as that. Figure it out, moonstruck.

Not sure if you're serious or not.

Hardware:
MSI Z270A-Pro
4 GB Ram
2TB HDD
G4400 CPU
1x 750W B+ PSU
1x 850 W B+ EVGA PSU
3x MSI  Gaming X
1x Zotac Amp Extreme Core
1x Asus ROG Strix
5x Powered Risers
Software:
-Clean, activated Win10
-All updates from Win update
-Latest drivers form MSI website (chipset)
-Latest Nvidia drivers
-Latest ccminer from Tpruvot
- MSI Afterburner (to limit cards powerdraw)
The algo I was trying was bitcore and skein. I've limited TDP to 75% in MA, so I've assumed that it'll have enough power.
Do someone have Zotac and can share how much these beast draw at 75% tdp?
My config for psu's.
Weaker PSU got two cards (MSI), their risers, mobo, cpu and hdd. It's working fine (that config was working before).
Now I want another psu (850W) to power 3 cards and their risers.
And it's kind working. But not for mining Wink

Try lowering tdp to minimum of 50% TDP with low intensity. And 850W won't cut it for 3 1080ti's, even at 75% tdp.
But this is quite off-topic, this topic is for best mining options for 1080ti's, not troubleshooting.

I'd suggest making a new thread for further assistance.

I think 49% here is trolling, 50% saying to the trollers they are idiots and 1% actual idiots believing the earth is flat.

I will see the development of cpu, gpu & vga. I am curious about the strength & price of those objects in the future

I'd be curious to see if we will have overcome the stagnation in silicon progress.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential x50-x100 coins let's discuss which one we think on: August 21, 2017, 10:09:10 AM
I too think BNB will go at least another 5-10x from here on. The BNB Exchange is looking awesome.

Another amazing project is Viacoin.

Honourable mentions:

POSW (when POSW 2.0 comes out this is hitting a dollar minimum)
Waves (Will be an awesome platform)

Waves x100 is going to be tough!! Maybe x10...
POSW and VIACOIN have a lot of potential.
x20 for VIA could be "legit", in the $400M MCap
POSW has probably the most potential here. x100 maybe... when it goes 2.0 and hits some bigger exchanges (for the liquidity).

BNB already hit its max. x2 doable... at best. it's already a $100M coin!!

Already doubled since your writing :p

Anyone has any good ideas where next to point 67 x rigs (RX470,RX480,GTX1070,P106)?
If you don't like the idea of everyday switching between the alts suggested by the whattomine.com calculator, than just stick to ZEC, since Apple accepts it as legitimate cryptocurrency, so it has quite great a potential.

I mine ZCash when away from the mine for a couple of days, otherwise ever switching.
