Instead of calling him out on a scam, search the forums for where he announced his pool, and ask him if auto payouts aren't working. |

A website really? A 1 page text site, that contains the identical information that was posted on the forum makes it a legit coin? Tell me this. If you went through the effort to make a coin and a site wouldn't you at least put your name as a developer on the site?
The only name we see is this CHNCoin, which is probably a throw away account to hide the real person who made this coin.
The exchange and people buying are all people hoping to cash out on this new crazy. I feel sorry for them since they're trading for coins that will have little to no value in a week.
One of the reason Bitcoin has any value is the perceived rarity of it. It's hard to mine and there's only going to be so many so it must be worth something. If there are new coins coming out every week that are identical, except in name then where the rarity? Why should I mine 1 LTC a day when I can mine coin of the week x at 1000 a day. All it's going to do is ruin the reputation of crypto-coins as a whole.
If it's a pump and dump that will be forgotten in 2 weeks time, then that is ok. Because people will start learning what makes good alt coins that have a chance of lasting, and ones that just waste electricity. |

At 88 difficulty, .047 exchange, and 520 kh/s I make 1.13 LTC per day, a fraction less than mining LTC directly. But if the exchange raises to just .055, I make more LTC by mining FTC.
Yes it could cause the price to drop, or to increase. We'll find out tomorrow.

I'm going to estimate on the VERY LOW end of 7970 hash rate. The likely hood is they have much less gpu's than I calculate, and such make even more profit.
To get that hashrate with 7970's, you would need ~400 GPU's at ~513kh/s each. That only costs 188000 in actual gpu cost, +28000-36400 for other computer hardware cost. With those put in ~100 machines, he's making amazing profit even at this difficulty, much more when it was easier.

I'm thinking I should just stop trading and see where it goes for a while .. I made a few trades at 0.04 .05 and just triggered a 0.06 one. I'll leave my .075 positions and sit out.
I put up a few sells in the .1-.2 range. If it gets there and higher, i'll still have made waaay more money that I would have mining LTC. There are a lot of coins for sale in the 0.05 -0.06 range. Yeah. I already sold quite a few in that range. Now i'm leaving some optimistic ones up while I sleep. |

I've got another test up here http://fpool1.zapto.org:15005/Longpolling with share difficulty of 3, but I haven't gotten a block yet to test (best share 16.7k / 65.5k ) Running good so far. It's nice to see so many shares vs how it was with the p2p. I know the payout is very similar, but you know, instant gratification. Yeah it's nice for the low kh/s to have less variance. I tested "diff 3" with 12 kh/s and it seemed to give a reasonable rate of shares without flooding 1.7 MH/s . The only thing I don't like about pushpool is that the server has a wallet that it pays from. I'd much rather have the payout go like P2Pool with the transactions tied to the block rather than holding the whole block reward locally and paying out from there. How is your stale rate?
