The people at ICG did say that if you request hologram facing forward, they will do it. But they agreed with me that the obverse should face the front normally.

I guess to each his own.  The obverse of many of these coins are far less compelling than the hologram side.  But...I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Hi Ryan:

I have had a number of coins slabbed by you guys over the years.  For cryptos, can you guys make sure to put the hologram side on the front of the slab?  I get half back one way and half back the other.  Need to have better consistency here in the slabbing room.  The hologram is the key feature of cryptos, so they should go on the front/obverse side.

I think most would argue it should be the other way around.

I'm sure each has a preference, but I think by and large most do want the hologram showing on the front.  Regardless ICG needs to pick one way and stick to it.

Nice to see ICG finally getting some love.  I've been using them almost exclusively to slab my cryptos for years.

I can say for sure that they grade very conservatively.  In fact, I rarely get anything above a 68 on some of the more recent releases.

Their cases are also much better looing than ANACS and stack easily.

The downside is their label descriptions.  Up to this point anyway.  Sounds like that is about to change though.  Maybe I will send some back to be reholdered.

Are those priv keys exposed in pic?

Looks to be partially exposed.  Don't know that you can sort out the full key from those shots.  Still, I might have blurred those out.

Why would you even want to use them? It's not that I don't trust Mike or MJ, but who knows who else had access to these. To me, this is more about a very rare piece of collectible history. If you wanted to load them yourself, which I don't know why you would considering you don't have Casascius holograms, just use your own keys.

Didn't say I or anyone should.  Just noting that they were not totally exposed in the image, but would have blurred it out anyway.  Just my 2 cents.

Hard to find sellers when prices are down.  I have some graded 1 LTC's, but wouldn't want to part with them based on current prices.

Both 0.1BTC each

love the new slabs Cheesy

I am a big fan of the ICG slabs.  The curved indention on each side make holding them incredibly ergonomic and breaks the monotony of all the rectangles.

Same.  I just wish they would always put the hologram side facing front.  I'll send in a bunch of coins and they come back half and half.

No, no.  Just heavily speculating.

That said, I think we will see this card again soon.  Again, just a hunch.
