tymeksm or anyone else:

Does anyone know the optimal setting to mine Ethereum on these 3 cards on SimpleMining?

Geforce 1080
Geforce 1080 Ti
Geforce 2080 Ti

The calculator software on some websites say my hashrate should be higher than the one I have. Thanks

Hello everyone. I was just wondering what are the ETH hash rates of the Radeon 5700, 5700 XT, and 5700 XT anniversary edition? And how much power do each card consume? Thanks

I tried to google before I post and couldn't find it. That's 217 pages. You can knock yourself out if you're into reading hundreds of pages to finding simple info if that's your thing. The reply is just a simple... "the 5700 hashes at XX.XX MH/s. Don't be a smart Alex.

tytanick,

I need help. I'm using your  SMOS and Claymore Miner with Nvidia cards to mine ETC and I getvery low hash rate. I also used OhGodAnETHlargementPill, and got only a slight speed increase. Here's my hash rate:

Geforce 1070 - 27MH/s
Geforce 1080 - 23MH/s
Geforce 1080 Ti - 37MH/s

Are there anything I need to do to increase my hashing rate for ETH/ETC? It seems very low according to published hash rate for my gfx cards.

I am using your SMOS and wondering what are the optimal settings (Core, Memory, Powerlimit) for Geforce 1080 Ti and Geforce 2080 Ti mining Grin31?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: March 29, 2020, 05:28:12 AM
Hello. I'm mining ETC using your miner program on SMOS / Linux and getting the following hash rate:

Geforce 1070 - 21MH/s
Geforce 1080 - 27MH/s
Geforce 1080 Ti - 32MH/s

Are there anything I need to add to the command line to get a higher speed?

What are all the companies and exchanges that allow withdrawal in USD to a US bank account, besides Coinbase/GDAX?
Thanks

tytanick,

Can you implement the "shutdown" function on the web control panel? I know there's a "reboot rig" function, but sometimes I need to shut down the rig to do maintenance and I don't want to short the PIN with the screwdriver.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Best Clock Setting for Radeon 570 on: December 26, 2017, 04:13:35 PM
Hi everyone. I bought an Asus Strix Radeon 570 with 4GB Hynix VRAM, and it's clocked at 1300/1750 in Polaris editor. What clock setting do I use to get a good hash rate? I tried to find the answer, but the only thing I find is for Radeon 580. Thanks!

Is there a way to access the claymore log so I can see which card keeps causing the system to reboot while Im asleep?

I think the Nvidia version of your OS is corrupted. I downloaded the image multiple times, and tried multiple USB flash drive. It could never write past 53% oh HDDRawCopy. Can you look into it?
Come on people, read a bit

this is quoted from the installation paragraph

All those things do in Windows 7/8/10
Download R or RX image from download section
Install:  HDDRawCopy - flashing tool
Flash image to any drive: see Youtube HowTo
If you will see error after 14'000'000 sector then its ok !

LOL actually you are the one that should "read a bit."

The R and RX image works fine. I'm talking about the Nvidia image. And it hangs at around 53%. Not like you can ignore something if it won't let you proceed

Does the OP provide support at all? If not, I'm going to pay $30 for a perpetual license for pimpOS instead of $24 each year for each rig.

I am using Claymore's miner on smOS. How do I access the logs so I can research which GPU is causing the system to reboot? Sometimes it crashes every few hours, so it's not possible to check the console or keep my eye glues on the admin webpage. Thanks
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining altcoins on EthOS on: June 09, 2017, 03:48:21 AM
Hello everybody,

Is anyone mining on EthOS? I'm currently mining on both Windows and EthOS. I wanna know if anybody know if it's possible to use a WiFi connection ethOS and if there are steps? The ethernet cable is starting to become annoying. Thanks

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8x Motherboard on: June 04, 2017, 09:46:55 PM
I have seen miners slip with 7 GPUs on that motherboard on this board, but haven't seen it done with 8. I have just googled it, and it seems a lot are doing it like these:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/8700-8x-gpu-nvidia-mining-rig-with-asus-prime-z270-a/
https://steemit.com/crypto/@cryptos/8x-rx-580-gpu-crypto-mining-rig-with-asus-prime-z270-a-motherboard

Yeah, but no additional power to the mobo needed? Cause I know for my MSI Z170 board, Asrocks BTC board, and Asus P10S WS board for Xeon processors, they have an additional Molex/PCIe power cable that goes straight to the mobo.

Hope my mobo wont get fried

There's a few blog sites saying the Asus Prime Z270-A is tested and confirmed to work for 8 GPUs. I look at the picture of the board, and I don't see any additional power (molex or PCIe) going straight to the motherboard. Will that be an issue and burn out the mobo?
