2  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] PED (Project Entropia Dollars) for BTC on: July 22, 2018, 11:17:48 PM
As the title says, I'd like to sell a few more of my PED in Entropia Universe. Up to $100 (1000 PED) equivalent in BTC at a rate we can negotiate once we get to the trade. Been around for a good while, 10+ years in the game.

We can arrange any escrow service as needed. Well-established players vastly preferred.

Send me a PM if you'd happen to be interested.

Roulette design: classic or futuristic? Make your choice now

The SmartPlay.Tech team is on the way to completing the tasks set in the original roadmap, and within one of the plans it's time to choose the design of the roulette.

As statistics show, there is no clear answer to the question: which roulette design is better? Some players prefer minimalism and strict classical design, while others like originality and choose bright unique solutions. Nevertheless, the project team acts in the interests of its users and launches a vote, and only you will decide which version of roulette will be launched.

For acquaintance are presented two 3D versions of the European roulette by SmartRoulette.io, moreover, if you are not a fan of 3D games, you can vote for the existing 2D roulette version.

1. Classical

2. Futuristic

3. 2D Roulette

In order for your voice to be taken into account, join the official social media groups (Facebook, Telegram, Medium, Reddit, Steemit, Twitter) and leave a comment under the last post or here.

Voting users will receive 100 RLT on the game balance in WinWin Roulette. To receive the tokens, send a message to info@smartplay.tech, attaching a screenshot of your comment and specifying your game name on SmartRoulette.io.

Make your choice and share the news with your friends so that they could make their choice too!

Both designs are pretty nice, but I'm slightly more biased towards the Futuristic one.

It seems like it's "ongoing maintenance" and new users can't make a new account. Any idea when registration will be open once more?  Tongue

Bump! Ready for Aug 1? If not, it might just be the perfect time to deposit instead...

off-topic: Why is everyone talking about AUG 1? What's exactly happening on August 1st

Not so much now, but there used to be a substantial chance BIP148 would cause an economic split, a hardfork. There's a movement pushing hard for it and said movement will seemingly force their hardfork even if it wouldn't be economically significant, but the gist of it is: as long as you don't have any money in an exchange by then, you'll be fine.

It's time for this topic again, and in order to avoid necroing myself...  Roll Eyes

Selling up to 200 USD (at the moment) worth of PED (So 2000 PED) for its equivalent in Bitcoin. Will update accordingly as I free up capital.

I've also got a few CLDs and AUDs I'd be willing to sell for Bitcoin.

We can arrange any escrow service or exchange rate as needed. Well-established players vastly preferred.

Still selling my PED. Might make exceptions when it comes to in-game prominence if the person has a provable reputation in the Bitcoin community.
8  Economy / Currency exchange / Selling up to $100 worth of PED (Project Entropia Dollar) for BTC on: May 07, 2016, 03:15:09 AM
Hiya there! Long story short, rather than agonizing over waiting for MA withdrawals, I'd rather trade up to 1000 PED for its equivalent in Bitcoin. Exchange rate agreed beforehand.

Please note that I'm only willing to trade with established members of the Entropia Universe community, so having a forum account with good activity or being in a respected society helps a lot.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: January 29, 2015, 10:49:20 PM
This is what most people would consider a "knee-jerk reaction" to a veritably problematic situation, the feeling a competitor that is little more than a ripoff may be beating you to the punch with a cheaper product and without all the R&D costs you had to incur. Yet they probably did the very worst thing they could have done: piss of their clientele. They shouldn't have been aiming for the everyday user- the TREZOR was, and still is way too expensive for that.

Sure, the code is still "open" for auditing, but if that was the idea from the beginning, why not make it so? All what SatoshiLabs has done with this is NOTHING to stop any dodgy Chinese IP-violating company from making a clone and gave the BWallet folks the opportunity to make their own offering (They just open-sourced everything, including the server and the plugin) more attractive so they aren't considered "just a ripoff" and to top it off, they pulled a dirty trick, which ultimately failed by the way, to make it seem they came to that decision 6 months ago.

tl;dr Slush, you dun goofed. You're still a REALLY respected man in the Bitcoin community and the face of SatoshiLabs, but a rash decision like this did no one favors.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: January 11, 2015, 04:01:47 AM
I also think staking rewards should be distributed considering on-site investment only as well. The rationale is simply that even though the promised, off-site investment does count towards the site's total, they'd be collecting staking twice for CLAM that are only working once: in their own wallet, supposedly.

12  Other / MultiBit / Re: Planned MultiBit usage fee (BRIT) on: June 15, 2014, 08:55:16 PM
Then guess I (Or someone else) will have to make a fork without any mandatory fees. Yes, it's "such a speck" many users won't notice it, and they'll see it as part of the usual transaction fee. But it still feels wrong, and if people want to use Bitcoin for transactions at both sides of the spectrum (With thousands worth in USD in a single transaction with little to no fees, or spending a few cents tipping someone or buying a perk for an online game, for example) these kind of things will turn people away.

I don't exactly live in Cuba, but I've found myself in pretty bad situations before, where every cent mattered and locked out from most methods of payment, so Bitcoin has literally been a lifesaver in those cases and 1000 Satoshi would have indeed been too much, when in other cases I wouldn't have had any problem in throwing 0.10 BTC or more to the devs. I ended up migrating recently to Electrum after using MultiBit for a long time, but I wanted to give MultiBit HD a try.
13  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 30, 2013, 07:47:23 PM
So all of this ended up being one big, dirty scam and/or Ponzi scheme. I can pleasantly say I have managed to recoup some of the losses doing oddjobs here and there, but now more than ever, I think something has to come out of this to give the next would-be Bitcoin scammer second thoughts.

Does the message feature work? I tried to write to him from the game but doesn't seem to work.
I think it works, I have received some messages from spammers.

Could you try to send me a message? Username is "ChaosFox", same as in the forums.
I sent you a message see if it works

Yup, saw it and sent a reply while the window just blinked when I tried to send a message to BardanDoyle (Bambity). Seems like he's blocking me.  Sad

Aw come on... why even here...  Angry

Well, personally, I don't feel scammed since I found out about this game after all and began playing it, and I must say it's been lots of fun so far. If I keep doing really well, then I could copy Brandon's idea at some point and offer guidance myself. I do hope you've just been busy with RL, it'd be crappy to deal with even more dishonest people here on the forums.

Thank you a lot, and I hope you see you around here once again, Brandon.  Wink

for those wondering how to handle the town, as I'm now over 30 happiness, Im working on a 2nd set of production buildings (at least the main items, wood/stone/meat) and probably as those go up to 3 or higher may toss a 2nd vegetable building as well...

Anyone else want to chime in on what they doing while we wait for Brandon to return?

Sure, I'm working on getting 30 Happiness myself, although I'm a bit worried about reaching Level 5 without having 30 Happiness or production buildings upgraded to the maximum yet.

JackMehoff (Seriously? Your very name makes me wary to begin with... Huh ), if you can somehow assure us the company you represent is legitimate and provide some solid proof you're abiding by all laws, then your proposal is certainly interesting. You would acquire the data TF has and if I understand correctly, it wouldn't require any further investment on behalf of the lenders. Is this right? If not, then it might be way harder to get people to invest any further... I would suggest taking it to a different topic, though. Also, consider you may need to acquire a reputation for yourself as well in the forums.

I may have "settled" for the time being, but I'm not ready to let TF walk away as if nothing. Same for many others who haven't settled yet and are pursuing legal procedures.
