I'm an 80s baby and growing up in the 90s, my favorite cartoon was X-Men. I'd watch the X-Men marathon every weekend, had a little X-Men backpack (which I still have btw  ), and later in life I started collecting the comic books. One of my favorite characters was Colossus. Why? I was (and still am) a short guy and I was always impressed with how Colossus used to tower over everyone, standing tall, crushing through everything, made of steel.. just plain powerful. Coming across this coin immediately reminded me of this. This coin is destined to stand tall in the world of crypto, towering over all other anonymous coins, crushing the competition, withstanding all setbacks, coming back stronger than steel.. determined.. truly Colossal! Just wanted to give a heads up....
So after my first batch of deposits from staking, my arrow stopped being green. I asked on here about it but nobody was really sure why it stopped being green, about a day ago it went green again, and today my new deposits are dropping. So for anyone who gets worried about their arrow turning off after your first batch of deposits.... might just want to wait a week and see if thats just part of the process because that was the case with me at least.
Figured Id let others know in case anyone happens to have similar questions when or if theirs shuts off.
When you get a reward, you have to mature your coins again. That indeed means you'll have to wait another week before they'll start staking again. You can also split your transactions so you get rewards more often and keep staking when one has to mature again. There's a tutorial about this in the OP  How long did it take you to get your first reward? I've been staking for about a week and haven't gotten anything yet |

Staking status needs to be true if you're staking. It looks like you have to add the line staking=1 to the ColossusCoinXT.conf file. It started working for me when I added the line under the addnodes. Hello guys. Can someone help me, please?. My coins in the wallet have been lying still for more than a week, but for some reason stacking does not begin. The wallet is synchronized, connection to the network is correct, about 12 connections.
I had that as well in the beginning. Make sure you have you wallet unlocked for staking and that you added the line staking=1 to the conf file. If that still doesn't help, go to Tools > Debug Console and enter getstakingstatus If you see a line saying mintablecoins = false, that means your coins don't have enough confirmations on the chain yet. They need around 10000 confirmations. To check how many confirmations your coins have at the moment, go to Preferences, then to the Wallet tab and check Enable coin control features. Click Ok and go to the Send tab. Under Coin Control Features, click Inputs. There you'll see an overview of your coins and their confirmations. what exactly is coin swap?
A coin swap is the process of sending in your old coins and getting new coins back. This usually happens when a coin gets a drastic technical change/upgrade, like moving to a new network. ColossusCoin V2 (CV2) had a coin swap and turned in to ColossusCoinXT (COLX). The coin swap ended December 28, 2017 on NovaExchange. so why was CV2 swapped for this coin? I saw CV2's price sank like a rock. What's the history here? I believe because COLX now uses the Pivx code base for anonymous transactions, so they switched blockchain. I'm not 100% sure if that was the sole reason for the swap though.. I guess CV2's price dropped because everyone was swapping and not trading, which makes sense. |

Problem & Reward offered I have installed my wallet on my macbook since yesterday, the setup went pretty quick but since this morning my wallet crashes instantly when starting the qt file. Assertion failed: (hashPrevBlock == view.GetBestBlock()), function ConnectBlock, file main.cpp, line 2050 I Have made a recover.dat file, but i really don't know how to make that work. If anyone could help me with one or both options i will reward you with 1000 Colx Just leave the adress with your answer It reads like an error in a function, but I don't know what causes it. So a fair warning; I've been doing this for a good while now, but I am no technical expert. If someone else knows what these lines mean exactly, I'd listen to them That being said, I'd do the following in your situation: If by recover.dat you mean you made a copy of your wallet.dat (in a different folder!), you can try re-installing the QT wallet and re-sync to the blockchain. Hopefully you also saved your private keys, because personally I'm always scared that (a backup of) wallet.dat gets corrupted in some way. If your wallet was empty, you have nothing to worry about. If you re-install the wallet, you can just put your backup of wallet.dat back into the main folder or import your private keys in the debug console and you should be set. If your wallet was empty, you can just use new addresses. I hope this helps.. if you need more assistance, please ask.
