I would say that during this long dip you can find an opportunity to buy one of the top coins in a reasonable price. I would invest on the top coins mostly and also those Chinese affiliated coins. After the ghost month they would surely buy back and by then you can sell and take profit. Also investing on Bitcoin is not a bad idea. Bitcoin will be the first to recover after all and then most of the altcoins will follow.

I believe there are few circumstances where Altcoins align with the price trend of Bitcoin. Generally, if Bitcoin goes up all the other coins are being pulled up too and when Bitcoin goes down alts follow afterwards. Isn't it natural since the dominance of BTC is higher than the altcoins so when we purchase altcoins we mostly use BTC.

Let's all go back when the ETF proposals were not presented yet. Bitcoin was doing great as is. Bitcoin has stood many critics for many years already and is still being hone to overcome new obstacles. Bitcoin doesn't really need the ETF. The ETF proposals ignited a commotion in the cryptocurrency community as if it is badly needed. Yes, ETF will do Bitcoin better and will produce new speculations and increase in price. Though this has caused the community to depend on ETF for Bitcoin to actually go on, which is really bad.

I would recommend that you should switch to USDT during a large scale dips like this to save your holdings and you should also buy more of the altcouns that you hold so that you can still cut loss and hopefully take some profits when market starts to recover. Don't keep USDT though, just resort to it during dips to cut losses. Or if you really want to keep USDT for large swings in the market.

Don't get confused. Ethereum's downtrend doesn't affect Bitcoin's price. It is the latter, ETH can be affected by BTC's price trend and mostly all the other altcoins in the cryptocurrency market. The only coins that are affected by ETH are platforms under it's blockchain and smart contracts. There has been a major dump of ETH aside from BTC's drop. Some ICOs and established coins under ETH platform are dumping ETH to tether up and cut their loss and some are resorting to other platform like EOS because they are faster. ETH has failed and continued to drop drastically because the performance is not the same anymore.

Jibbit project made the right choice to introduce and integrate their project via blockchain technology. It is much trustworthy when utilizing blockchain especially when it deals about cannabis industry. Blockchain makes it more secured and transparent for users.

Blockchain Technology is indeed a revolutionary innovation in software engineering. You should try to research about Bitcoin's features compared to altcoins. Bitcoin so far is non-hackable and there are no records of it being hacked systematically. Don't confuse things and open your eyes. Cryptocurrency are bound to experience those crimes since it exists in the World Wide Web. The Internet is a very dangerous and risky place to put your money and assets without the right knowledge. Accumulate more knowledge and tips on how to be secured in the Internet. It is common sense to get yourself secure in the digital world.

Altcoins can be independent but partially. Bitcoin pairings will always exist if there will be no decoupling of BTC/(Any altcoin pairings). If most exchanges cease to use BTC pairings then altcoins may have the possibility to grow on its own. There is a possibility but it will be hard and it could take a very long period of time to attain independence from Bitcoin.

To think that it would cause so much drag within days. The total cryptocurrency market cap lost billions because of this. I don't know but this shows how vulnerable to manipulations the crypto community is. This is not a gravely situation though. The drag opens an opportunity for us to buy lower and accumulate more for the upcoming green runs in the market. We still don't know how will this end up but the SEC's decision is not settled so we just have to hold on.

In my own opinion, Cryptocurrency can stand without Bitcoin but can't stand without the Blockchain Technology. Don't forget that Blockchain is the operating system of cryptocurrencies. Take note that Blockchain can stand without cryptocurrencies. Blockchain has more future and utilization compared to cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and is the main foundation of all cryptocurrency during the establishment stages up until now. It is very valuable as an asset and also for investment purposes. There are existing altcoins that surpasses Bitcoin in some factors but still no one can shake off the very fundamental of cryptocurrency. Most importantly, Bitcoin holders will not allow to de-throne the king of all cryptocurrencies.

I think it's not about if the market is on a bullish or bearish situation. The thing that you should consider is the ICO that you are going to invest on. Regardless of the market trend, the ICO that you want to invest on should withstand and have a solid support during market changes. I can invest on a bear market if I am confident that the ICO I am investing on is worthful. Though the best course to do during a bearish market is not to invest on ICO. You should look for profitable coins that are already established and invest on them.
