221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: August 11, 2018, 05:26:36 PM
If its down 40 to 50% then that's kinda stupid idea to panic sell , but still can't blame those people selling to cut more loses and can't deal anymore stress from capital loses. Though for me it's not wise to sell when the market is in bear, if you're holding the right token or coin nothing to worry , takes time to recover but will soon recover also your loses.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is going to hit 200 USD? on: August 11, 2018, 05:21:47 PM
If support level will be break then most probably ethereum would hit 200ish+ but I doubt it'll stay on that price, some people are waiting to go in and buy the dips while other panic seller FOMO, so it MIGHT hit that level but wont stay long on that level.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: August 10, 2018, 04:53:53 PM
The redundancy of the project, failed marketing and I guess the most obvious part is , some ICO's after being concluded just fail to deliver what they promise, joined a project late december sadly that project just doesnt care not being listed in some major exchange to create volume and demand.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2018, 04:43:23 PM
it's been a long time debate which is better Eth or Bitcoin? But for me , really depends on the use. Ethereum has alot to offer but bitcoin is more mainstream, I prefer Ethereum when purchasing something online whenever there will be crypto payment choices, I would always choose Eth over bitcoin, for me it's faster and cheaper.  Though Bitcoin open the door to most crypto currency so I don't see any competition between the two since they're different project.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: August 09, 2018, 05:29:08 PM
Doing bounty doesn't give you 100% assurance that you'll get paid , we also have to consider the project itself. How did there ICO performed during crowd sale, are minimum met? Also, there are lots of scam project nowadays taking advantage of free publicity from bounty hunter  So, the only thing we could do is hope and find the right team/manager and good project.
226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: August 09, 2018, 10:58:35 AM
It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.

Well for me, all sign of recovery is a good sign for a coin or market. That we can tell there are still support left,  though Whenever we experience such drastic decline or crash there will always people who pick up those dump, and make the most of it like swing trade. It's just a matter of how you play the game , a recovery is a profit so it's a good sign for me  Cheesy
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used as a donation to the church on: August 07, 2018, 05:41:53 PM
That's good to hear, doing charity is one of the most wonderful feeling. I just hope the church knows about btc value , it's way easier though if you could convert it for them to fiat it'll be more easier, yeah kinda agree above me it's more of a PR than a charity.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: August 07, 2018, 05:33:36 PM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.

Shocked That's amazing read, never heard that til now. I just hope more institution would follow and accept cryptos as payments, specially my old school. wanna continue my MD with my bitcoin that would be cool.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 07, 2018, 05:32:02 PM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.

Yeah for most it's more like an asset even though they insist they see bitcoin as a currency  Grin still they would cash out to fiat due to price increase of bitcoin , instead of spending bitcoin directly they'll turn to fiat to encash it for a paper money. So yeah for now it's safer to say btc is like a digital gold , hopefully when right regulations and implementation would prosper more merchant and company would accept btc as a  payment.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be greedy! on: August 07, 2018, 03:43:24 PM
While trading we have to follow few rules and without following those rules there is no way to be a successful one except a successful by chance. There are lots of rules of them greedy plays a vital role. While trading never be greedy. If you become greedy while trading then you can be assured that there is 90% possibility to be a lessor.

You're absolutely right, we should sets limits on when to stop and end the trade. I remember getting to greedy during bitcoin ATH last december 20k I was hoping it will still go further but sadly it started plummeting still waited for it to rebound but then it continue falling.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common Errors of Trading on: August 07, 2018, 03:40:25 PM
Here are some interesting facts about trading I stumbled across from CryptoCred which I think may be helpful
Common error to avoid when you day trade, I modified some to reflect my own opinion.

1. Revenge trading, trying to get back a trade that has been lost or chasing a trade.

2. Never using a Stop

3. Not having a plan (Risk/Entry/Exit/Stop)

4. Not sticking to your plan

5. Greed — risking too much/not taking profit

6. Being too emotional about a trade.

Plug these equity drains & increase your odds of being profitable.
You could add to the list and make better trades

This is funny , almost everything in this list was me  Cheesy Well, base on my experience all of this list is correct for newbie who want to do day trade better control first your emotion as the tide in this market is very volatile.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2018, 03:36:36 PM
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?

Banks avoid some legal issues they might be dealing with illegal money, the anti money laundering law. Most countries prohibit btc due to some bigger country prohibit it. They can't really prohibit it totally since btc was made as a decentralized form of currency everyone can own one but finding a merchant who accept btc would be a problem.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't worry, Bitcoin will be fine. on: August 07, 2018, 03:26:32 PM
People tend to panic when they see continues loses , If only most people has the analogy of yours and patience then dump and drops like we are experiencing will be minimize, they don't realize when all or plenty of people panic sell they are one of the cause of the sudden drop of the price of BTC like a domino effect. We can't blame them though if they wan't to cut loses.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2018, 03:19:29 PM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

We have to adopt it and everyone should be expose of it , experience and implementation would let us all be ready. Adapting and making Cryptocurrencies acceptable is a long run but we have to introduce it slowly to the public for them to adapt. And, Yes Fiat will always stay there since its the only currency all people know , more likely people who aren't tech savvy will most likely snob Digital currencies.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: August 04, 2018, 01:49:06 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks

You can always stop your losses if you think price of such coin remains bearish and going down, remaining calm would really benefit you from here since panic sellers always lose in the long run. have to understand the market and recent news about cryptocurrencies.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: August 04, 2018, 01:47:24 PM
the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?

It's not weak Smiley only weak hands sell , market is bearish due to manipulation and dumps . anyway I see bitcoin price still high compare to recent years , its just lower from the ATH but for sure btc will rebound soon but not yet this year. all we can do is hope for the best and adaptation of btc in real time.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: August 04, 2018, 01:44:13 PM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.

It's there choice , Smiley they've worked for it so they care less about the ICO price ,  some bounty hunter even would sell there tokens for 100$ below and cant blame them if they are doing for a living and needed money to pay some bills. But now all bounty hunters sell I guess.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear for empty balance in future.. on: August 04, 2018, 01:36:28 PM
I am very afraid for my crypto balance. At present I have some coin.I brought this coin previous december month. But at this time my balance to become very small. So I feel fear for see empty balance in future.Any one can advice me now what i am doing. Will I sell or hold my coins?

Cant blame you if some of your balance you bought during All time High , you will lose only if you will sell at lose but if you wanna minimize the loses then you can sell at 20 - 30% loses but after that I guess it's your wise decision if you could take the loses you lose.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below 8000 time to buy now on: July 29, 2018, 11:59:08 PM
Bitcoin is very low today even 7700 buck...do you think is good time to buy now or will more lower and crash to 3000 buck...very difficult to predict...what do you think... Who t f is selling on this price.....?....

If you have the money why not , no one could predict that price of btc so we cant say when the right time to buy and SELL, we can't tell or know when the next all time high so we could drop our bag and buy low. Just set some goal then your good.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: July 29, 2018, 11:55:53 PM

Just had a chat with my friend on setting up mining in my farm house. He advised and suggested more to invest in crypto currencies then investing and spending time in mining. What you guys would suggest me of. Or shall i start with small investment on mining from house with rigs attached to system i have in my house and start a farm house once experienced or do not get into mining? Suggest me dudes.

Some people say mining now is not profitable and would only break even due to high cost of electricity, trading on the other hand is a risky form of investment, for me mining would be fun and safer than trading since you can mine every available coin out there depends on the algo and dif rate , follow what you think would benefit you in the long run;
