1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: July 25, 2023, 07:53:49 AM
DogeCoin is like the king of memes in the cryptocurrency world. It was the first coin based on a meme, and people was FOmo'ing. And then there's Elon Musk, who kind of made it even more popular somehow.
It's like everyone's jumping on the DogeCoin train
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: July 25, 2023, 07:49:34 AM
people with a quick-rich attitude often end up making mistakes when dealing with altcoins. The volatile nature of the cryptocurrency market requires careful research and a long-term investment mindset to navigate successfully.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with shitcoiners without being harsh about reality. on: July 25, 2023, 07:47:18 AM
it's essential to be upfront and honest. Educate them about the risks and drawbacks associated with 'shitcoins.' Show them the facts and encourage them to do thorough research. Sometimes, a dose of reality can be eye-opening.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV twitter account banned on: September 06, 2020, 09:51:40 PM
I really don't trust and like this fork coin from bitcoin, It was purely made to make profit to its creator. I hope they all banned those so called fork and out their circulation for eternity.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: September 06, 2020, 09:48:28 PM
This year was quite rewarding for me, I bought some cheap tokens/coins from last year and some of them made a parabolic move and earned me some money that is better than my entire year of salary. Grin
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't venture into something you aren't completely sure about. on: September 06, 2020, 09:44:42 PM
Most experience miners would know where to mine, there are still coins which is profitable to mine but I guess mining will stay just for Bitcoin cause some token and coins are doing PoS and running nodes is a new thing which require very minimal electricity if you run it from an instance.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: September 06, 2020, 04:09:40 PM
I dont ever decide on investing on something due to some hype. Its better to do your own research rather than to fall as a groupie due to some hype.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: September 06, 2020, 03:19:14 PM
Well i hope so. I think more people will give other coins a chance since ETH is getting more expensive as a gas price. Tho theyll have to rise against the already established ETH. But its not too far off.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: September 06, 2020, 03:18:16 PM
Im an enthusiast also a long term holder, I dont like swing trading due to the fact it stressed me. I set goals when to set my money, but I have more interest in token or project with the intention of revolutionizing and making things better and fast.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: September 06, 2020, 03:11:57 PM
It might be that in the public some crypto currencies are more valuable than gold, say the bitcoin for example. But the thing about crypto is that it is too unstable, its in the top of the market now but its anyones guess if it stays there or if it dies, unlike gold it doesnt plummet to the depths of value randomly, but through out time gold stayed and becomes even more valuable. What im saying is, crypto might seem like above gold but its unsable and no one knows when itll turn to nothing.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: September 06, 2020, 03:06:22 PM
While all of these are true without a doubt, let us not forget about another thing that should be added on the list which are the scammers themselves. Some of the new people who get scammed are just people who are trying to earn a living in this platform that is new for them and people shamelessly take advantage of that. I just find it kind of sad instead of just helping people specially in this trying times.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: September 06, 2020, 03:03:57 PM
You need volume for this to be legitimate profit, yep I agree to some people above. Low cap/volume can be easily manipulated. You need to always to consider the volume and also where its being traded.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: September 06, 2020, 03:02:53 PM
A lot of people have been posing on every platform saying all these fake testimonies about projects theyve earned money from but the thing is if it was really true i dont think theyll ever share it with random strangers. I just believe testimonies that people i actually know tell me.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 03, 2020, 12:47:05 PM
Getting into crypto, a lot of people think that this trade is easy money. Like in the philippines, people fell for investment schemes promising upto 400% profit and all the organization have to say is that theyre investing it on crypto and that somehow makes it believable.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 03, 2020, 10:33:51 AM
Try to get into ripple just for good measure. Ripple is steadily catching up to ETH in regards with reliability. Just try it out, besides its highly unlikely for ripple to plundge down.

This is what I received in that group, I thought to check this out as I smelled some scam.

Everything was good, until they, in their group, started asking to send Eth and get back double the Eth.

Now, the shittiest part here, as you already know that gas fee is too high in the Eth network specifically for DeFi protocol, what these guys threw in the bot was hilarious! They sent me this:

Quote
1 SET YOUR WALLET
2 CHECK YOUR WALLET
3 SEND GAS FEE TO WITHDRAW 🦄

Then, when I gave my address, they showed me this:

Quote
yearn.finance (YFI):
🦄 My ETH Address
💹 Distribute in 09/03/2020
⛽ Send 0.005 Ethereum  to process your withdrawal.

0x0FBdbB563b1e951129D25b8CB13BD11219294865

◾ Users who caught taking only proof of others will be permanently banned

◾ Your Screen Shot of Deposit or Transaction hash 📸

TBH, I can clearly say these mofos are none from YFI's team and you won't get anything once you send them the Eth, so just don't fall for this! Wink

And the same shit is inside YFII's channel too but I'm not going to share it. Just don't fall for these coins, they're worth so high that it's common sense nobody would give them for free.

I guess the rule of thumb here is just not to trust anything that promises you money for not doing anything. Promising to double your money if you jist send them money is sketchy enough. Never trust too good to be true gains. Ever.
