61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XTC] TileCoin| IoT (Internet of Things) bitcoin blockchain - ĐApp on: November 26, 2014, 05:57:47 AM
Sprint (Company) is not involved at this time. "Sprint" for us is a development term that identifies what tasks have to be completed on a specific date. This is called Agile Software development.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

2.) Technical Registration Process of IoT Devices in review for Sprint.

Any confirmation here?

Is this related to the US based telecom company sprint.com?

Maybe it means in review to work with the Sprint service... please confirm my speculation. I am very confused. Smiley

Absolutely.

Please register via http://tilepay.org and click the Contact link.
Type Testnet in the subject.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

It will arrive. I do not want a fiasco like https://poloniex.com/correspondence.pdf
with any exchange.
Since this is a wallet that contains many different types of tokens. I prefer to test, test and test.
Like I said, we will have a concrete and final date tomorrow for a wallet, or I could release the testnet...

Do you want a release of the testnet version?

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

ok,always postpone,never arrive.
guys,we will surely see this ugly wallet, but the next year.

ASIC-8Tile,   can you release the test wallet to some specific community members, to prove that the wallet is truly coming.

November 25, 2014 - Development Updates

1.) To clarify any rumors.

Yes, we are working with Ignite that is a founding member of the Estonian Cryptocurrency Association.

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/estonian-cryptocurrency-association-founded-promote-crypto/
http://www.ignite.ee/estonian-cryptocurrency-field/
http://www.ignite.ee/works/cryptocurrency/

We have an NDA with them for specific wallet/IoT development and other functionality.

We are going to publish a joint Press Release soon.

We are also working with other organizations to fulfill International standards in the IoT community for TileCoin IoT
asset creation and allocation of micro transactions/payments. The IEEE is trying their hardest to
standardize communication protocols between devices and we are taking steps to help establish the foundation.
IoT is the wild west like bitcoin is at the moment.

These things take more time that adjusting parameters in a clone. Wink

2.) Technical Registration Process of IoT Devices in review for Sprint.

3.) IoT pcb boards (security). We do not have a 4-6 layer pcb design at this time. Reason: Overhead/Simplicity (we are not using Zigbee at this time).
Reasons: Have to add a battery and MCU to each... No thanks.

4.) We will have a Wallet release date tomorrow.

5.) We helped stop a Google Ad Phishing scam for blockchain.info today. Smiley How come a billion dollar company like Google cannot detect this is beyond me...

Keep the faith. We are for real.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

The Security review had no major issues reported from the whitehats.

We are hardening the Dapp against, "Cold Boot Attacks".

For those not familiar, http://www.technologyreview.com/view/530186/the-ongoing-threat-of-cold-boot-attacks/

We will not publish a report for security reasons. Have you asked your bank lately to post their security vulnerabilities?

The delayed release of the wallet is to protect not only TileCoinX, but others with Counterparty tokens that might want to use the Dapp.

ASIC-8Tile

Well and needed a little more time and see how anger work.
To believe that might is good partnerships, most would say that IBM interested in the project and a little hard to believe.

no one has stated that IBM is interested in the project, i just stated that IBM had plans to create a similar project using the bitcoin blockchain and IoT tech combined.

I just saw a bunch of Chinese bagholders pasting irrelevant IBM Samsung News. How pathetic are they while dev are far gone.

Community Supporters/Trolls/Disbelievers

I think that everyone should take a little step back and stop the "scam" accusations.

This is very childish and not viewed upon as professional/respectable behaviour.

The IoT is in development.

Xnova is NOT involved in the project. I simply wanted their "blessing" and "review" because the wallet can locally keep all private keys for tokens created via Counterparty.
Seems like now he will not review because of the reaction from the "scammer"/"trolls" on this thread. Thanks, but we will move forward.

I think the "scam" are those that are trying to manipulate all others. Manipulation and FUD unfortunately wreak havoc in this forum and it is very sad to see.

Disappointed in the reaction of most people in this thread. Look within yourselves and ask yourself if you are honest.

Watch what will happen when we become the first IoT enabled monetization network using bitcoin.

I can assure everyone that they will take their words back.
Code update.

I never said anything about BC and Bitbay... I respect both projects that have different priorities.

Regards,
ASCI-8Tile

We do not want to hurt XCP. We are using part of their platform.
Similar to bitbay using bithalo, but in the viva open source way.

I think that you should troll elsewhere and wait for the 100% facts.

ASIC-8Tile

something a bit strange is going on, so xnova was contacted about testing Tilecoin Dapp. yet at the time of inbox, he know nothing about tilecoin, and claims he diddnt realize because of the different username used to contact him. i think regardless of the username, you would be talking about one thing... tilecoin.

Guys, relax. I was contacted...regarding testing an app (that at the time I didn't know was the tilecoin app). The CP tech team will be looking into this tech more and seeing how we can assist.

For full disclosure, we do not know much about tilecoin currently, and need to learn more before moving forward in any regard.
today i see,you are A dishonest rat.you are hurting XCP .make fake claim and create panic.
as you mention the relation between black coin and bitbay, now the downtrend of blackcoin can prove all .

Sorry. This is no SCAM and xnova did not know my skype ID was related to my bct ID.
I will not release the Wallet without their (Counterparty) approval since it involves all the hard work they have done.
IMO you should ask before knowing all the facts.

Thank you for your inaccurate assumption IMO.

I will put a bounty on each line of code we have versus "cannapay" to the proof of code that equals 10,000$ USD.
It is your move now. A core bitcoin developer will be the arbitrator and decide the final outcome.

I know the effort and technological architecture that it involves to produce a viable product.
Let me know when you are ready to validate your assumption.

where have i seen that exact wallet before? im quite sure cannapay uses that one, have you just modified someone elses code?

I am up late/early depending on your time zone.  Wink

1.) Refactored TilePay enclosures with "Industrial Designer". Some tweaks for manufacturing. Cost effective savings.
2.) PCB board development - Authentication for signed data.
3.) Counterparty update for development: One of the major developments for the counterparty protocol has enabled additional functionality that we can use for TilePay,
pegged assets, distributed voting, decentralized storage, and really distributed apps of any kind.

[–]PhantomPhreakXCP 18 points 14 hours ago
Counterparty can now do anything that Ethereum can! Namecoin, SchellingCoin, pegged assets, distributed voting, decentralized storage, and really distributed apps of any kind.

http://counterparty.io/news/counterparty-recreates-ethereums-smart-contract-platform-on-bitcoin/

4.) We also have the architecture that was missing from Counterparty - "true SPV support" for bitcoin transfer.

5.) We use the bitcoin blockchain as the most secure blockchain technology. Viacoin support will be added in the future because of the available bytes that can be added to a secure "scrypt" implementation.

6.) Lawyer meeting was focused on assignment of intellectual property and possible VC friendly business structures.

Hi statdude,

The concern from altcoinUK, was the original enclosure "prototype" for the IoT devices which I published. Very rough draft. The rough "prototype" validated the measurements that are required to make a full-fledged manufacturable ready product that protects the IoT devices. Obviously, this can and will change depending upon the use case for the IoT device.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=761852.msg9515776#msg9515776

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Impressive response, although I'm still not sure what the prototype was for, can someone briefly explain IoT?
But I like the high goals for this coin by dev team. Good luck.

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XTC] TileCoin| IoT (Internet of Things) bitcoin blockchain - ĐApp on: November 13, 2014, 06:48:14 AM
Hi altcoinUK,

I posted a rough draft of the 3D printed "prototype" enclosure from our "Industrial Designer".  This may look like an amateur attempt for what should be a professional enclosure for the IoT devices. This is not the case. This validates dimensions and usability/weather proofing techniques that need to be thought of at the very beginning.
When producing a final product, many stages of validation occur to reduce the final cost of output for a particular product that is manufactured.
It is absolutely necessary to produce a "prototype" prior to actually committing to manufacturing of the physical enclosure. Reduces risk and iterations that incur NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) cost.

On another specific note, we have a pcb that validates each IoT device on a mesh network using hardware that has cryptographically signed information.
Here is the "rough" draft board design.

What this does, is provide a more difficult way of attacking a mesh network versus attacking multiple sensors within the network with a chip signing mechanism.

You had asked about the time aspect of validation. If based on btc, there is a 10 minute delay...
When the Smart Contracts and Micro transactions functionalities are combined, this enables very fast data verification and validation with minimal bitcoin blockchain bloat.

If you have received quotes from other people in regards to time, I do not think they have asked you what type of IoT device that would exist in the mesh network to be able to respond accurately to your question.

In the case of our chip, it takes between 10-20 milliseconds to produce a signature that can be authenticated. Depending on the number of devices and their specific roles within the mesh network, this can vary considerably. We are working on datasheets that will accurately identify potential bottlenecks that pertain to the different type of devices and their roles in a mesh network for the IoT.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

there is nothing real except some pictures...

And the pictures display an amateurish 3D printed enclosure. If the progress is manifested in very poorly designed 3D printed enclosure and the DEV feels that such picture must be published, in the meantime he has no idea why the transaction time is significant in real time hardware control, then I am worried about the direction of this project.

Seeing the quality the 3D printed enclosure this coin reminds me some high school project on Kickstarter at the early days when the quality control was not in place.

Hi ownerbest,

I am not trying to ignore anyone's questions. I am swamped with PM's, website development, hardware development, and people telling me BitPay is a scam stuff.  If you look at an example such as Counterparty, they have taken their time to develop a nice platform (not perfect). It does take more time when involving third-party review for Security/Code.
Our intentions for future releases will take into consideration time delays related to third-parties. No one can control this.
How many other crypto-tokens have had actual code reviews from Bitcoin Core developers and/or CISSP white hats?
Very few on my list. We are in the process of creating a "Standard" with partnerships.

I will NOT jeopardize the security and possible loss of crypto-tokens because of pressure from community members.
Since this is new code, we have to expect some delays for the better of the community. This is not a fork of another coin. It is an improvement of existing technology.

If you want to help develop the DApp, by all means contact me via a PM.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Two questions:
1. How about the source check? Any update?
2. Will the wallet be released according to plan?

Anyone can do me a favor, answer the two questions?

So the dev just came and past, ignored this?
