i do not care about idex, for me idex is a annoying exchange. trade there must be a minimum of 0.1 ETH or $100 and their site is very heavy or takes a lot of time to access it.

This is a gamble bro I will try my luck with this one, But I did not just choose this coin for fun some reason is the team behind this project very interesting they are %100 anonymous, but they all follow the roadmap in time and this coin is a dPos with a max supply of 60m they have a main-net New projects sometimes do not have a Main-net when they start. To be honest, there is nothing special about having a Mainnet blockchain, it just proves that, 1. It was not a scam ICO. 2. Development is on track. 3. It actually works! Which is a concern for people who want to invest a large amount of money so let's see what will happen until December  Credit from arahaya on Reddit by using this reference I have visited the site and have tried several transactions, the token is only 60 million and all the team is anonymous. I am interested to hold it as a long term investment and I think btw just waiting to be listed on popular exchanges, then btw can explode. |

Is this upward direction for all altcoins temporary, or this is start of next round of upward slope for Altcoins?
For now not yet, but some old alt like ETH and LTC have slowly gone up. Other alt will soon follow, but not all of them, just alt who has a great team and serious work that will potentially rise. Could XRP reach previous maximum during this upward slope?
I think ripple requires real action and not just a statement. nothing is impossible, if they immediately run the plan of its partnership. |

I was thinking Bitfinex would use it hard in Ethfinex. No word about it , but they said they will use EOS.
I dont understand technology after these two.
EOS suppose to be like OS, with files systems and databases. So more heavy weight .
ZRX suppose to be protocol above smart contracts? Kinda tricky to implement if you ask me.

2 years is a long time and I think there will be so many changes going on, like regulation, technology, market, etc.
for me this is too horrible, maybe I prefer to invest into altcoin that has a large community and a favorite of many people to hold.

I have experienced similar things with you, I have sent storm to the address available in the deposit column, but when I check the transaction it turns out the recipient's wallet address changed automatically. I became confused and my account balance did not increase. But I was lucky, my token came in and I immediately sold it. Since then I hesitated and became afraid to trade on hitbtc.

Of course ripple will be a leader this year. Ripple is scalable, fast and cheap. Without those quality, a coin can't be used as a currency. Bitcoin isn't fast, cheap, or scalable anymore, neither is ethereum.
If a coin isn't almost free and instant, it loses his edge over traditional fiat system. Sure bitcoin will stick as a "bitcoin standard" for crypto market (like gold used to be for the fiat system), but in the gold-standard, people were using fiat to transact, not gold. In the crypto world, people will stop using bitcoin for everyday use and replace it with something more convenient.
So ripple isn't what we dreamed about, but it will keep growing fast in 2018, that's for sure.
all the developers are sure to work hard to make his project grow and we know there are many partnerships done ripple lately. but it does not bring any change to the ripple, ripple needs a real action and not a statement. I also disagree and do not believe that ripple can be a leader this year. |

Maybe this is why I can not trade in etherdelta overnight. When I hit the buy button, then out notice that the order has been unavailable and many times I reload the browser, but no change and the order to sell and buy is not updated automatically. I am annoyed because of the loss of gas to pay the fee from the deposit and withdrawal.

Being a newbie, I'm looking for a good direction on learning about the markets and trading. How would you decide which ICO to invest in? Cryptocurrency is too volatile, but so there is still many people who go into investment that goes even in the newest coins which are similar (not same) in the functionality that they offer (e.g. anonymity). What is the possibility on any of these coins (or digital currency in general) being successful (or profitable)? I'm also not clear on how does the value of coin inflate or deflate; especially when the flow is controlled by the developers?

This seems a good approach, but will regulation work when when they're trying to regulate something that is decentralized in nature? I know it's a "guideline": to make directions clear in a rapidly expanding system. Call me a pessimist, but then, regulation for the government means centralization and control. Isn't it? sounds interesting and I agree if swiss plans to make the rules that apply to ico. this rule seems to be a good approach for investors, so investors do not hesitate and afraid to invest in ico. |
